Chapter 3: in the mean time

She was having a nightmare, but now she was consumed by the demon it was much worse.

“Well from the sounds of it you could have avoided all of this if you were just more sensitive to Shining Armor.” The voice joked.

“Well hey I maybe I could have been better, but I hate to say it the day Cadence died was the day we got Fluttershy back, and I had been blaming myself for her disappearance so I had to be happy. Also she has killed at least twice as many as I have and she’s still the element of kindness.” Dream Rainbow Dash retorted.

“I haven’t heard of any elements of loyalty attacking their friends just because she was hungry.” The voice taunted.

Rainbow Dash woke up suddenly in the crypt, her hunger and tunnel vision was back in full force. She smelt meat and sure enough there was a plate of bacon on the floor near her. She ate it returning her sanity. Then she noticed the note:

Rainbow Dash I left you some food since I thought you would be hungry, I’m probably doing Sunday mass right now so I left you this note. Twilight is in room 7 of the hospital and now the town is under watch from both the U.C.o.E. and your government. I heard that unicorns can teleport and you have horns now s o thought you could try it.

She stared at the opposite wall, she focused and *poof she teleported, she would need a bit of practice but she allowed herself a smile.

An orange Pegasus filly sat in a pew in the mass, she was just barely holding back the tears, she woke up to discover via the paper that her idol had been filly napped. She was here more so that she could morn at her hero’s last known location, than seeking guidance.

When the mass was over she approached the human guarding the stairs to the roof. “What do you think happened to Rainbow Dash?” She asked hopping he would say she would be home soon and the bad people behind this would be punished.

“Well they say missing because we haven’t found a body, but she was struck by lightning, while chained to that cross, and our test say it was made od magnesium and when that’s heated it burns white hot till there’s nothing left. I think the body was incinerated.” Then noticing the crushed look on the filly he added. “but I could be wrong!”

*POOF Just like that Rainbow dash was in room 7 of the hospital. She gazed upon Twilight and noticed the hulking gash where her leg should have been.

Ugh you should kill it I hate to see suffering I haven’t directly caused. The demonic voice suggested.

Ignoring it Rainbow approached the bedside and preformed a healing spell. “Twi, wake up I want to talk to you.” Rainbow Dash said in a very soft voice.

“Ah, Rainbow Dash!” the purple mare exclaimed almost screaming in shock. “ What are you doing here, please don’t hurt me.”

“Relax Twi, I think I got my self under control, and I want to tell you that I want to use my powers for good and I want your help.” Rainbow said trying to calm the mare and explain the situation.

“Oh and It’s room 66 of the guard house, that your brother lives in, right?” Rainbow dash asked already forming a plan.

“Yes and, wait please don’t kill him!” Twilight answered realizing what her cyan friend was planning.

“I just want answers, but I’m not making any promises.” And with a poof she was gone.

bout time i added a new chapter!

Rather slow chapter mainly character and plot building, next time more dark stuff.

Confused about Fluttershy? I will be making a (what do u call a spin-off series that bigger than the original) about all that stuff.
