My story isn't, by any means, a happy one. I was never loved. Never cared for. Hell, I wasn't sure I even had a name until last week when I found my birth certificate. Not Important, that was my name, I was worthless even on paper. I hadn't been abused or anything like that, just ignored. My foalhood was, decent, compared to other fillies in my neighborhood. This section of Cloudsdale isn't very wealthy. But my family had food to eat and beds to sleep in, more than most others. I was happy, I thought everypony lived this way.

Then everything changed, I had never been a strong flyer, I only barely passed my flight test. The day of the accident was beginning like an ordinary day. Me and my sister were playing on the outskirts of the neighborhood. Straying close to the fence that stopped foals from falling out of the sky. We loved playing there, we would go up to the fence and look out over Canterlot. She loved me, she alone cared for me. I was her little brother, she was the most important mare in the world to me.

She dared me to lean against the fence, something neither of us had ever had the courage to do. We barely even touched it most of the time. But she was my sister and I wanted to impress her. So I did it, bad idea. The fence gave way under the strain. My sister tried to catch me as I fell backwards but she wasn't fast enough. I fell out of Cloudsdale, and by extent, out of my sister's loving reach.
