I kept crying from the fear of what ever it was I saw that is the one thing I hate about being five again when something scares me to the point of crying I really don’t like it because when I do start crying nopony can understand what I am saying

“Calm down Nova” Jero kept trying to calm me down but it was no use I kept trying to talk but it was impossible to understand what I was saying the only thing that could be understood was ‘Monster staring at me’ I am truly turning into a child and I really need to speak to the princess about why I am acting like a child but still that thing scared me so bad I was Twilight now so that way I could snuggle up to her at bedtime

The power had came back on a couple of hours ago but I was still crying and I don’t know why all I know is I was scared and could not stop crying I just don’t know what that thing was it looked like a messed up hybrid of a bug and alicorn I had managed to calm down finally “Wh-what was th-that t-thing?” it had been a couple of hours and after Jero’s failed attempts to calm me down and cleaning up something and I wont say what

Jero smiled as he patted me on the back “Its alright Nova now just tell me what it was you saw” I sniffled and started to explain what that thing was that I had seen when I finished Jero’s eyes widened “Nova that was a changling!”

I looked at Jero confused “A what?” what the heck is a changling I mean it this thing I saw was freaky

Jero ran upstairs leaving me alone I started shaking again until he came back with a book and for some reason my Smarty Pants doll I grabbed that thing and hugged I don’t know why I know I said this already but that thing makes me feel safe and even though Twilight is not here when I hug this I feel like Twilight is here I think that is the one reason she gave it to me I was not even paying attention but Jero was opening the book he had brought

Jero pointed to something in the book “This is a normal changling, Is this what you saw?” I just shook my head he kept pointing to page after page with different pictures of changlings but I kept shaking my head on each one of them “Well what did it look like?”

I sniffled and wiped some of the tears from my eyes “W-well it it had a red coat almost like a crimson color a-and holes in its legs a-a-and a b-black mane and tail” I wanted to start crying again but I will not I sniffled again “I-it has been doing stuff like that ever night for the past few days a-and every night f-for the past few days” I felt tears forming in my eyes again “I-t just looked at me through my bedroom window” I really hate how stuff like that scares me so easily “S-so what I do is sneak into Twilight’s room and climb into her bed” I know it is what a child would do but I am a child now

“OK calm down you are safe” I nodded understanding what Jero was saying I know they would never let anything hurt me “Now when Twilight gets back tomorrow I will tell her what is going on” I nodded
“Jero can I ask you something?” I asked Jero smiled and nodded “Can I sleep with you tonight?”

I saw Jero trying not to laugh “Sure thing” I smiled as he picked me up

“Wait where are you taking me?”

“Its bedtime that is where”

I woke up the next day yawning looking around I saw I was not in the guest bedroom and looking at the time I saw it was two in the afternoon I just shook it off even though today is tusday I jumped off the bed streaching and yawning I decided to go downstairs and see if I was here alone seeing as it is day time I don’t think that changling will bother me….at least I hope not when I got downstairs I saw Twilight was back and talking to Fluttershy my eyes snapped open as I went into a full gallop and jumped on Twilight’s lap I hugged her as tight as I could I know it makes me seems like a mommas boy but screw off after what I went through I really missed her

Twilight returned the hug “I missed you too Nova”

I know I said I would never say this out loud but who cares “I missed you too mommy” I heard Fluttershy ‘aww’ at that sight but who cares because it is true in the four months I have been in Equestria she has grown on me like a mother I swear if I catch crap about it I am going to be kinda pissed I hope nopony told her about me hitting Lime Wire in the head with a book that little I don’t know what to call him had it coming though

Twilight nuzzled me “I missed you and I heard about the changling that is stalking you” Twilight smiled “I wont let anything harm you I promise” I hugged Twilight even tighter after that I know she means it and I know that none of my friends would let any harm come to me heck if anything they are a big family to me we always have each others back no matter what

“Oh well I am so sorry for the power going out” Fluttershy said

“Its not your fault Fluttershy it could not be helped it was just a thunderstorm” That scared me “Other wise everything else was fine” besides my fear of thunder that scares the living crap out of me and last night when I startedd crying for a couple of hours like the wuss I am turning into because of who knows why but still I can tell that everypony here will help me out through anything they can I looked to my side and noticed a bag I don’t know who it belonges too but I really could not care less….what is Twilight doing with that hair brush

I started squirming “Hold still Nova” Twilight said as she held me down and started brushing my mane oh good that is all she is doing I thought she was going to hit me with it after Twilight had finished brushing my mane I heard the one thing that could not have worse timing one of the biggist cracks of thinder ever I immediately gipped onto Twilight for safty

“Oh my I forgot that a storm was scudualed for today” Fluttershy said as I kept my grip on Twilight I refuse to start crying well again at least I saw Jero come in the door from weather duty I am guessing I still did not let go of Twilight she is like a safty blanket

“Hey everypony” Jero said I just waved to him not moving an inch or loosening up

“Hi Jero” Both Twilight and Fluttershy said at the same time

“Umm Jero I am sorry to ask this of you but me and the girls are going out tonight think you can keep an eye on” Twilight smirked “The little foal who wont let go of his mommy” Oh Twilight you asked for it
I felt a blush growing on my cheeks from that statement but I kept my face buried in Twilight’s chest “I can let go at any time I want to!”

Jero sighed “Sure I can watch Nova again” Good other wise I would be alone again and freak out and most likely I would start crying again from the fear I am like Fluttershy when she is near a dragon well a full grown dragon when I hear a crack of thunder I freeze up

“Thank you Jero” Fluttershy said in her normal sweet and very low tone of voice I gotta say it is kinda cute if you think about it I finally decided to let Twilight out of my iron grip Twilight gave me a kiss on the cheek before putting me on the couch inbetween herself and Fluttershy man these ponies really do love me

The sun had went down yet the storm had not calmed down I was still scared “Hey Nova do you want some cocoa?” Jero asked

I shrugged “I guess I would like some coffee but I already know the answer to that is a big no” Jero laughed as he brought me a mug of hot cocoa I held it with my hooves seeing as I know if I use my magic I will some how drop it and burn myself “So where is Scootaloo at?”

“I don’t know the whole time I have been here I know nothing of her home life nor do I know her parents” Jero said

“Oh she does not have any parents” I said calmly I saw Jero’s eyes widen

“WHAT!?” Jero’s asked “Where is she right now!?”

I srugged again “I am guessing she is staying with Applebloom” I don’t know where she stays it is not my job to keep up with her I am not her father after all I am only a little colt so yeah it is not my fault

“What do you mean you guess?” Jero asked one again I shrugged

So yeah I know the past few chapters are REALLY small but I have been working with my moms laptop and the keys on the keyboard are 1 or 2cm so yeah.....BUT the next chapter I will try and make a BIG BIG BIG chapter remember I will try so dont get your hopes up
