Jero had left about thirty minuets ago both myself and Angel where playing poker that dang bunny is good I will say I never thought I would see the day when I got beat in poker by a freaking bunny I have now seen everything yet the one pony I have yet to see is Trixie and I really want to see her that would be awesome I mean sure she has a big ego but who cares we can all boast some times or in Rainbow Dash’s case a lot well I don’t do it that is for sure the poker game was interupted by Jero slamming through the front door with a shivering pegasus filly

“Quick Nova go and get a blanket” Jero said as he placed Scootaloo in front of the fire place as I came downstairs with a blanket that had little pictures of chickens on it I know Jero might get all mad about it but instead he just took the blanket and covered Scootaloo with it "How could I have not guessed this"

I don't know what to say I mean it I am at a loss for words "Jero what are you going to do?" I asked he did not look at me Jero just looked down

"I-I just don't know Nova I just don't know"

I woke up the next day in the guest bedroom I could hear Scootaloo talking I trotted downstairs and made myself known "Good morning" I saw Scootaloo with tearful eyes looking back at me crap what wrong did I do

"Good morning" I saw a small smirk growing on Scootaloo's face "How did you sleep squirt?"

"Did she just call me squirt really!?" I grinned "pretty good and how did you sleep chicken?" that one might have went too far but who cares I sure don't

"I slept better than I have in my whole life" Scootaloo said as I went over to the table sitting down on one of the pillows smiling a little

I looked into Scootaloo's eyes "So what did you and Jero talk about?" I asked

"W-well we just spoke about why I did not come to anypony about not having anywhere to live" Scootaloo took a deep breath "A-and I told him I was too scared to tell anypony because I was scared that they would send me to an orphanage in Canterlot or some place far away from Ponyville" I feel bad for Scootaloo she is scared that they will send her off but they would not do that I am sure of it

I put my hoof on Scootaloo's shoulder "Don't worry Scootaloo there is no way in Equestria anypony would EVER send you off"

I decided that since it was late in the afternoon I would go out and help Jero with his chores around the cottage I got flower duty so I had to water all of the flowers at Fluttershy's house so I knew that would take me forever but anything to help out a friend the only thing I did not care for is I have to hold the watering pot in my mouth I still though both Scootaloo and Jero went to the mayor’s office to do something about the Scootaloo situation I hope she says yes so that way everything can get back to normal I know this seems like I am acting immature but I don’t really care I hate being left alone for hours at a time but at least I had finished the chores

I went and put up everything from the chores the only thing I do not like is Twilight got Rarity to make me two pairs of those accursed pajamas one of them has a book pattern on them and the other have little numbers on them Twilight had to wash the ones with the book pattern on them so now until Twilight gets back witch will be after tonight and I already know I will be asleep but who cares I hate how much Twilight has to go out it seems like she never has time for me any more well I mean she is busy a lot with sending letters to the princess and all of that

I had fallen asleep on the couch not even caring I woke up just barely as the door shut I could hear a voice or two they belonged to Jero and Scootaloo I did not want to open my eyes instead I wanted to stay asleep I would have gotten up but I was so sleepy and so lazy

I heard Jero let out a laugh “Well it looks like Nova fell asleep” Jero said as he picked me up I kept my eyes shut as Jero carried me “Looks like the little guy tuckered himself out while we where gone” I felt some sort of soft cloth being put on me the next noise I heard was a zipper

I cracked my eyes open “No I am not sleepy” I protested trying to stay awake only to hear Scootaloo giggle

“Aww did the little colt tire himself out?” Scootaloo asked as she giggled again when I opened my eyes I saw I was wearing a pair of hoofsie pajamas the ones with little numbers on them I blushed when I saw them

“Do I have to wear these?” I asked Jero just nodded

“Sorry but these are the only ones Twilight packed for you” Jero said as he put me on the bed “And I spoke to the mayor she said that the paper work I filled out should be processed with in the next week and Scootaloo will be legally my daughter”

I kept fighting to keep my eyes open “That is good but I am not sleepy” after a while of struggling I ended up falling asleep both Jero and Scootaloo walked out of the room laughing it up at me

“Well Scootaloo I guess you can sleep with me tonight if you want to that is” Jero said as he let out a small yawn of his own

“That sounds good” Scootaloo said letting out a yawn of her on
