a Dark and Stormy night

She knew what a lousy place to hide it was but what else could the mare do. as the footsteps grew louder, her breath became heavier. The thing that wore her fathers face like a second skin was getting closer. A bead of sweat appeared on her forehead, dampening the fur that was already dark with sweat. The tension was killing her. Just one peek,to check to see if it had gone away. The footsteps stopped. Too late. The doors of the wardrobe slowly opened to reveal-

"God damn it Room!"Green Ink glared angrily at her brother, Green Room, a tall unicorn, with a build almost as buff as Big Macs. "I was only joking" the colt grinned. "Why so serious?". Green Ink groaned.

Give me back my book, I've very nearly finished it. Green Room looked at the book. "You're only 10 pages in." Green Ink scowled. "I'm a quick reader, remember?" Green Room nodded slightly, rolling his eyes as he did so. "I'm the one who introduced you to the series anyway. Therefore, I should get first read." "No, you are the opposite of a quick reader." "am not" "are too" "am not" "are too". The two siblings squabbled like this for some time before breaking out in loud laughter. "Sorry about scaring you, I couldnt resist" the laughing unicorn apolagied."Its okay, I know the feeling" Green Ink replied with a smile. " Oh, by the way, Mum wants you down for lunch" Green Room yelled as he left through Ink's open bedroom door.Green Ink stifled a giggle and sighed. "He could have told me that from the beginning" She muttered. "Aw well, lunch is probaly cold now, no harm in finishing off this book" A thought occured to her "I need to collect those books soon too" She smiled " Gues you could say that I've been..... Booked"
