Previous Chapter~authors note; Equineland is England and Eireland is Ireland. Sucky names I know.~
Twilight sighed. It was definitly one of those days, not even a cup of tea could lift her spirits. If tea couldnt cure you, there was no cure. Spike, now rid of his offensive garb waddled over.
"I dont get it Twilight, why were you so desperate to get her to stay?"
"Spike, look around. Do you ever see anyone reading a book in here? apart from me of course."
"Uhhh.... No?"
"Exactly, this is a library, and yet in all the time I have lived here, no one has come in to borrow a book. Ever."
"So what has this to do with Green Ink?"
"Did you see how engrossed in her book she was? She didnt even notice me storming toward her!"
"Well you are quite the accomplished sneaker and-"
"You know what that means! She was so stuck in her book she was dead to the world! She likes reading!"
Spike could see that Twilight was not even hearing him anymore, meaning that she would probaly just sit there mumbling her ideas to her self for a few hours. This was the perfect time to do his chores. Or go to see if Rarity needed any help. Decisions decisions. Oh this was going to be tough, but Spike knew he needed to do the right thing. With his choice firmly chosen, Spike skipped off to Rarity's Boutique, leaving Twilight to make wild theories about what kind of books her first official library visiter would like to read and writing out a list.

Meanwhile at the Green residence....
"But Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!"
"No whining, if you want to go play outside, first finish your food."
Green Ink's mother was an opposing Mare. Althrough standing only a little bit taller than her daughter, she stood with a firmness that told anypony that her word was law in her household. Clover wings was a grey pegasus, only a few shades darker than her pale daughter, with vivid red hair that was dyed and styled into a fashionable poofy hairstyle. On her flank her cutie mark composed of a clover sandwich. Her accent was thick, her being from republic of Éireland, but was faded from years living in Equineland with her Equineland born children. The one thing she loved most about living in Equineland and now Equestria, was that they used the heating instead of sitting in the cold trying to save money and be conductive to the environment. Currently she was trying to make her daughter eat some food before going out, a battle she would always win, of course.
"Fine Mum I'll eat a banana or something, but I gotta gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo0oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo0ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooocooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
"You should at least bring a sandwich with you" Clover argued after rolling her eyes at the exaggerated overly long gag.
"Ok fine, whatever, stop treating me like a child, I'm, like, 16 already." Green Ink exclaimed, suddenly adopting a valley girl dialect. After somehow grabbing a sandwich in a bag with her hooves, the teenaged filly ran out the door screaming "TO THE LIBRARY!". Meanwhile Clover inwardly sighed, wondering where she had gone wrong raising her daughter.
Meanwhile, Green Ink arrived at her destination, panting and out of breath from referancing anime, cartoons and books all the way to the library. "Buck, I hope I'm not too late. I ALSO hope no-one notices me talking to myself like some sort of loon."
"Er, why are you talking to yourself?"
"Augghabjkdhasjh!" Exclaimed Green Ink. "are you ok?" Spike asked, as he returned from swooning over Rarity.
Spike observed the flailing pony for several more minutes until he reconized her as the pony from earlier in the morning.
As he realised this, he also realised that he didn't care all that much. With that in mind he also remembered what Twilight said she would do to him if he failed to make sure their one and only library visiter wasn't comfortable. Spike cleared his throat in preparation;
"Greetings, most esteam... most esterr... most very important quest. Is there anything I can get you?"
Green Ink snapped out of her wild flailing long enough to say; "Earl Grey Tea. Hot" and then resumed her twitching temporary insanity. Tea was serious buisness. Spike wisely decided to do as the mad mare requested, and went inside to make a proper cup of tea for the guest. Back outside, Green Ink was once again distracted from her flailing by a rather speedy pink comet that was currently bouncing up and down in front of her.
"Hi I'm Pinky Pie and I've never seen you before around here before and or even met you outside PonyVille so that must mean you're a new friend, which means I have to throw you a party later because that's what friends do for each other and it's gonna be the best party I've thrown since Twilights welcoming party and it's funny because her party happened at the end of the day, during twilight which is funny 'cause her name is Twilight and hey, what's your name, I haven't even asked you that yet, aren't I silly?"
Green Ink watched the demon with an expression of horrified fascination planted firmly on her face. When the Pink Terror finally asked her name, she had barely just mumbled out "Green Ink" before it was talking again.
"Green Ink? What a funny name! I mean, you're not green at all, isnt that just silly? And your last name Ink, I have a sister named Inky, isnt that a funny co-incy-dink?" "uh, I-" " Yesterday I tried some greeny black pasta, called squid ink pasta, which is strange because It didn't taste like ink at all, and I know what Ink tastes because one time Dashy dared me to taste some, and have you met Dashy yet? She's a great friend, we're always playing pranks on everypony else-" "Um can, can I lea-" "And then I said, 'Oatmeal? Are you Crazy?!'" At this the pink nightmare stopped and looked expectedly at Green Ink. Green Ink could only stare back and hope she would go away, shrinking and trying to blend into the cobblestones in front of the Library doors, whimpering as she did so. Luckily for Green Ink, those doors opened to reveal Twilight ready to her first official Library visiter.

As soon as Spike had annonced that Green Ink was waiting outside, Twilight had burst into action and.... went through the list she had finished checking just moments earlier. "Selection of different genres for her to look through, check. A platter of snacks to consume whilst reading, check. A comically large feather duster to wipe crumbs off herself and her chosen books, check. Princess Luna's borrowed abacus, check. Writing implements and paper in case she has a sudden urge to fulfil her dream of being a writer/poet/song writer/bard/etc, check." Twilight checked over her 5 meter long list with a proud smile. After reading 'The Librarions guide to satisfying library guests', filling out a list had been so easy. After checking the list over thrice, Twilight was ready to welcome Green Ink inside. With a fresh pot of tea ready and waiting, Twilight opened the double doors and took a big breathe of air as she prepared to rattle off her pre written speech... and let it out again when she saw Pinkie. "Pinkie Pie, what are you doing, shouldnt you be planning a party or something?" Pinkie Pie gasped and responded with a quick; "YOU'RE RIGHT" and sped off, quicker than even Rainbow Dash could fly. Now that Pinkie was gone and not bouncing around, Twilight could see the grey trembling blob on the ground more clearly. "Um, hello?"
The grey blob slowly raised its head and whispered "is it gone?" Twilight frowned. She didnt want a repeat of earlier. "Boy, this filly scares easily" she muttered under her breath. She exstended a hoof to the small mare still shaking on the ground. with a nervous glance around, Green Ink allowed herself to be helped up. "This is gonna be a long day" they both thought in unision.
