Adventure Bros

The Doctor looked at Derpy in confusion. She looked back with her odd eyes, waiting for his response.

“I’m sorry, but i don’t know you,” the Doctor said. Derpy’s eyes lowered and she looked at him again.

“Oh, right, you’re a time traveler. You haven’t met me yet, huh? Well, i’m Derpy. I was your companion for a while,” She said. The Doctor looked back to the TARDIS then to Derpy.

“So, you traveled with me in my TARDIS? You know it’s-”

“Bigger on the inside,” Derpy finished his sentence. The Doctor smiled at her and she smiled back.

“Come on, I’ll have to reintroduce you to everyone,” Derpy said. The Doctor walked by her side and the bros followed behind them. Derpy turned to face them. TJ, Zach, and Ian were all excited to see and hear Derpy. “Who are you guys anyways? I haven’t seen you here before,” she said.

TJ stepped forward, acting as the leader of the bros. Zach and Ian couldn’t stop smiling because of Derpy.

“Well, we aren’t from Equestria. We’re friends of the Doctor,” he said. Zach and Ian nodded to his statement.

“Hey, do you know where Fluttershy’s cottage is?” Zach asked her.

“Yeah, just down that way, why?” she asked.

“Okay, i’ll see you guys later,” he said, running in the direction she pointed.

“Don’t get into any trouble,” the Doctor called out as Zach ran off. Ian laughed and they continued to walk through town. TJ and Ian looked around, recognising some of the characters, but not calling any out by name. Derpy lead them back to her house, Equestrian hospitality. The all walked into her home and sat in the lounge.

Derpy sat next to the Doctor and TJ, Ian and Skips sat on a three seat couch.

“So, i come back to this world?” the Doctor asked. Derpy nodded, then stopped as she became confused.

“No, you came here a year ago, but i guess you’re from the past, so you don’t remember our world or me.” She looked down in sadness as he couldn’t remember their adventures together. Derpy looked up again and smiled. “That explains why you knew who i was when you first came here,” she said in glee.

“So, you both traveled in the TARDIS?” TJ asked. Doctor Whooves and Assistant was actually true in this reality.

“Yes we did,” Derpy said, “time, space and in one occasion, another dimension.”

“We’re from another dimension too,” Ian said.

“Actually,” the Doctor stated, “you’re from another universe. Dimensions exist within the universes and the universes exist within the multiverse.”

“So, it’s like a big circle, with little circles in it and even tinier circles in those?” Ian asked, trying to comprehend the statement.

“Yes. Well, no not really, but if it helps you see it that way, yes.” he replied. TJ chuckled at the Doctor’s statement and Ian became more confused.

“Oh, right!” the Doctor stated loudly, making Derpy jump, “We’re looking for someone, aren’t we?”

“Yeah, Benji and Oolatoocs,” Ian said. The Doctor stood up and pulled his sonic screwdriver from his pocket and started scanning around.

“Ah, he’s here, but the signal’s weak.” he said. He put the sonic back into his pocket and went to the door. “Come on, let’s go find that monster."
