Adventure Bros
My Little Bros
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe bros held onto the rails that surrounded the TARDIS’s control panel as the entire machine shook. The Doctor hit the stabilizers and the shaking decreased to little more than a bump or two.
“Wow, I didn’t expect her to react like that,” the Doctor said, rubbing the console. Watched the monitor and flipped a few switches. “We should land in a few minutes.” he said.
“Okay, good,” Marc said. The Doctor looked at the bros and Skips and thought for a bit.
“Why don’t you make yourselves at home?” he asked. “The bedrooms are up the stairs and to the right.”
“You’re letting us stay here?” TJ asked. The Doctor nodded and replied with a “yup”. TJ and Marc smiled and ran up the stairs to the rooms. Zach and Ian thanked the Doctor for his hospitality and followed TJ and Marc. Skips stayed behind, looking round the control room.
“I know what you’re thinking, bigger on the inside, right?” the Doctor asked.
“No, i was thinking about what that monster could do with access to all the universes in existence.”
“Oh. but i love it when people say that, the “bigger on the inside” bit. it makes me feel clever!” The doctor said with a smile. He turned around to the screen and read off of it. “3 minutes or so.” Skips walked up the stairs and turned around
“Thanks for the help, Doc.”
“No problem.”
TJ and Marc found the bedrooms inside the TARDIS. The opened the doors and looked around inside.
“I call this one,” TJ said, sitting on the small bed.
“This one’s mine,” Marc said, doing the same in the room across from TJ. Zach and Ian chose their own rooms; TJ walked into the hallway and joined Zach and Ian. Marc shut his door and locked it. TJ turned around at the sound of the click.
“Marc? You coming?” Zach asked.
“Yeah,” Marc said from behind the door, “i just want to make this room more homey.”
“Okay, well, meet up in the control room,” TJ said, leading the bros down the stairs. The Doctor flipped a switch and the TARDIS noise sounded. The sound of breaks grinding never sounded more amazing.
“We’ve landed,” the Doctor said, ‘now be sure to act normal, this is a different universe after all.” He walked over to the TARDIS’s double doors and opened them up. The bright sunlight filled the TARDIS. The Doctor covered his eyes as they adjusted to the brightness. The Doctor, Skips and the bros all felt a tingling sensation all throughout their bodies. Then, it hurt. It hurt more than anything the bros had ever felt. The feeling of every cell in their body changing into something new. The doctor looked at them in astonishment.
“No,” he said, “we’ve changed species!” The bros looked at each other and were surprised. They were all ponies. Equestrian ponies, TJ was a unicorn, Zach was an earth pony and Ian was a pegasus. Skips had turned into what looked like the steroid pony from an episode of MLP.
“W-we’re ponies?” Zach stuttered out. The only thought in his mind was “i have to find Fluttershy.” The Doctor had been turned into Time Turner, or more commonly called by the fans, Doctor Whooves. He still had his coat on and he felt for his sonic.
“Good, as long as i still have you, sonic,” he said, patting his coat pocket.
“Dude, we have to get Marc!” Ian reminded the bros. TJ started to walk and tripped. Zach laughed when he fell flat on his face.
“Shut up, i’ve never walked on all fours before, jerk!” TJ said, standing up and slowly walking on his new legs. He walked up the stairs and to Marc’s room. He knocked on the door with his hoof.
“Marc, come on! we’re ponies!” he called through the wood door. Marc wasn’t a brony, but TJ, Zach and Ian were. Marc said in his room, looking in the mirror.
“No, i’m not coming out,” he replied. His voice was higher piched and sounded forced, like he was putting on an accent.
“Why not?”
“I... can’t tell you, it’s awful.”
“Um... okay,” TJ finished. He walked back down to the group. Marc looked into the mirror. He was a carbon copy of Rainbow Dash, just with black hair. Even his voice had changed into hers.
“Where is he?” Skips asked. TJ looked back to the hall with the rooms.
“He locked himself in his room. He won’t tell me why.”
“Just leave him. It’s probably the species change, it affects everyone differently,” the Doctor said, “he’s safer in the TARDIS anyways.”
“Hey, Doctor,” Zach spoke up, “If we’re supposed to be acting normal, we have to use proper vocabulary.”
“How so?”
“Here they say “everypony”, not everyone,” Zach corrected him, “just thought that would help us blend in more.”
“Okay, that’s good. Whatever it takes,” he replied, stepping out of the TARDIS. The bros and Skips followed him, closing the door to the TARDIS.
“Are you sure it’s safe to leave your machine out in the open like that?” Skips asked.
“It’s called a TARDIS and it’s completely safe. Good idea? Eh, not really, but i’m the only one who can open it.” They walked down the dirt road, admiring the cartoony scenery and animals. Suddenly, a pegasus dropped from the sky, tackling the Doctor to the ground with a thud. The bros and Skips surrounded them and were stunned.
“Whoa! get off!” the Doctor shouted as the pony stood up.The blonde pegasus panted as her wings fell to her sides.
“Doctor,” she said through breaths, “i heard the engines and i knew it was you.”
“What? who are you?” he asked her. She looked at him, stared into his eyes with hers.
“It’s me, Derpy.”
