from dreams to death

       The lab was quiet and still. All that could be heard was a small whirring sound, coming from a computer in the center of the room. It could be seen by all the ponies around, about ten of them in total. It held an image of a very old pony who looked to be about the age of seventy.

        "Who will rule... after my passing?", she asked in a surprisingly young sounding voice. "My sister Luna does not yet understand the works of raising both the sun and the moon." She looked down regrettingly and addmited, "i was too busy with twilight to ever teach her..."

      One of the lab ponies, wearing a lab coat, and green protective glasses, looked around at the others and said to the older pony "i'm not sure... but, Celestia... Why do you ask us?" celestia smiled and addmited "you are all very smart... you weren't chosen to be science ponies for nothing. If i do recall, are you all unicorns?" The ten ponies nodded to her. "Good" She replied "we may not only need the help of science on this, but also the help of magic. Would you ponies be willing to do a favor for me? I can tell you now, it will NOT be easy."

        The ten ponies huddled in a group, whispering to each other and finaly they came up with their answer. The same pony as before stepped up infront of the group and said in the most couragous voice as he could manage, "y-yes my q-queen... we shall... uh... help you... i guess..." He tried to smile but all that came out was a wobbly, awkward smile. "thank you brave ponies, err, unicorns. Now listen carefully, i want you to create a medecine that will make us ponies live longer and if possible, forever."

       The ponies remained silent mouths opened slightly, agahst of what she had just said."but Celestia... isn't that, well, impossible?", asked a rather bright purple unicorn. Celestia smiled and replied, "Well i have the power to raise the sun and the moon. Most unicorns already have the power to teleport. Do you really think that this is impossible? No. Not if we all put our power together." The purple pony just shrugged and looked away.

Sorry this chapter is so short... My laptop was about to run out of battery and if i hadn't saved it then i would have lost the story and i would have had to re-write it.
