from dreams to death

        Running. Faster and faster untill her hooves ached and began to blister.

        Twilight had to do some research immediatly. If she couldn't help Celestia she could loose her job and worse... Celestia would die.

        What WOULD happen if she died?... The thought scared Twilight. Nopony else in Equestria knew how to raise the sun. All Luna could do was raise the moon.

        She pounded on the door to her tree house untill spike, now a larger dragon, yet not at full age, answered her door. "oh hey Twi." He said "hello Spike." She replied in a kind way. "Spike, have you seen that book on ancient magic? I haven't read that book in ages... Old fashoned magic is really dangerous."

        Spike looked through a few bookcases untill he came upon a dusty old book, that looked something like a bible, exept for the fact that it had a few strange designs on the front. He handed it to Twilight who sighed in relief "ok good... i was scared that somepony or... possibly a dragon could have thrown it out." she looked towards Spike "heh-heh..." he said. "I only threw out 1 or 2... and decides! The front cover was torn!"

         Twilight rolled her eyes and treaded over to where she usually read her books, which was on her desk. When she opened the book her heart started to pound. Every page was covered in a thick layer of green goop. She had seen the goo before. She knew it. She just couldn't remember where.

        "Spike!", she yelled "get over here! I have to show you something!"

        Spike ran over as quick as he could and made a noise that sounded like a cough, burp, and wheeze at the same time. "Are you okay Spike?" Asked Twilight. "i-uh...ya... im good" He smiled and  did the cough, burp, wheeze thing again.

"Spike..."

"What Twi?"

"Are you SURE youre ok?"

"oh ya... i'm great!"

"Really?... cause We don't want you turning into a rampaging dragon again, trying to take everything he sees now do we?"

"n-n-no Twi! Th-th-thats not what i  want at all!"

"Good... then tell me... Are you alright?"

"ya i think so... just got the sniffles, thats all."

Twilight eyed him carefully before making sure... "ok!", she said "i'll believe you this time..."

         She grabbed the book off of her desk and brought it to Spike. "look" She said "As soon as i opened the book, I saw this inside." Spike stared at the book, as if trying to figure out what the goop was. "i wonder!" He explained... "What! What!?" Twilight asked exitedly "Never mind...", he said "its useless" and he walked away on Twilight leaving her to herself.

       "now what?...", asked Twilight to herself. Then she got an idea. It was so simple, but it was just perfect for her task. "how could i not have thought of this before!?!" she screamed "this is BRILLIANT!"

Well... thats the end of chapter 2... I'm actually enjoying writhing this. Its my first fimfiction i have written, and i don't know if you've noticed, but i'm not neccecarily the best with paragraphs... oops. Oh well. The stories still seem the same.
