Lost Chapter 1: Metal Madness

(This would take place on the Egg Fleet but instead of Spike freeing the girls, It would be Classic Sonic. Also for those who are curious, Classic Sonic’s voice would be from the OVA movie/Sonic CD[YES He DID have a voice actor in Sonic CD!])

After Classic had reached the prison cells, he was relieved to see the girls still alive. “Alright, Stand back!” he cautioned before unleashing a homing attack on the glass like door. It shattered into a million bits but Sonic was able to endure the impact. “That was absolutely dazzling Sonic!” Rarity exclaimed but then stopped and looked the pot-bellied hero over. “Something about you seems….different. You look….shorter and….did you gain weight??” she commented. Sonic sweat-dropped. Applejack stepped up as well. “Now that I look at ya good, Ah do see that you changed… You look kinda younger….Actually your just like that young Sonic that was described in the other Sonic’s story!” Twilight joined in next. “Applejack’s right!” she gasps and realizes the answer. “You somehow traveled our dimension just like Sonic did!” she announces. Sonic went a bit wide-eyed. “But how?? I already traveled through time and space! Why again?” he questioned. Twilight was about to give an explanation before a loud explosion from the roof interrupted her. The group looked up and went slack-jaw. Sonic glared. “Metal!”

From the roof descended a metallic, robotic version of Sonic, its cold stare locked on the original blue blur! “THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE SONIC!” Metal buzzed through his voice chip before charging the group! “LOOK OUT!” Sonic warned as he dove out of the way. The girls responded too late and were sent flying! Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy recovered and swooped down, catching Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Twilight used her magic to Teleport herself safely on the ground but Rarity was still falling! Sonic noticed this and began to charge a spindash. “Gotta time it just right…” Rarity was now inches from the ground! “GO!” Sonic rolled off with incredible speed! He then spin-jumped and caught the Purple manned unicorn just in time, landing perfectly on his feet! Sonic then set her down. “Thank you Sonic! You saved me!” Rarity said, smiling. Sonic gave a thumbs up. “No problem! Now hurry and get to safety! I’ll handle this impostor myself!” Sonic exclaimed getting into a fighter’s stance as Metal landed, locking its sights on his target! “THERE’S ONLY ROOM FOR ONE SONIC IN THIS WORLD! ONE OF US HAS TO GO!” He uttered. Suddenly another explosion set off nearby from the floor! As the dust cleared Sonic couldn’t believe his eyes. Rainbow Dash went slack jaw. Metal chuckled. “SONIC! SAY HELLO TO MY PARTNER! METAL RAINBOW DASH!” he announced as a robotic copy of Rainbow whirred to life, its red LED eyes locked on its target. Rainbow was shocked. “I-it’s me!! A…r-robot!” she stuttered. Metal Rainbow Dash looked like the original! Same light blue color. Same Rainbow mane but made out of steel! On its back, a rocket booster in between the wings! Sonic looked towards Rainbow Dash. “Looks like we’ll have to team up to take these impostors out!” he said. Rainbow nodded. Suddenly, Metal pulled out one of the Chaos Emeralds! “Hey! Where’d you get that Emerald?” Sonic asked. Metal’s booster began to start up. “IF YOU WANT IT, COME AND GET IT!” he then zoomed off towards an extended series of bridges with Metal Rainbow Dash following. Sonic and Rainbow gave chase!

Sonic and Dash caught up with their robotic copies with ease. Metal Sonic noticed this began charging up power. Sonic was unaware and sped ahead, when suddenly…BOOM! The bridge began to collapse behind Sonic! He looked back but before he could gain enough speed to outrun the falling track, he went down along with the debris! Rainbow began to dive after him, but Sonic was able to recover and hop from one chunk to the next, eventually reaching Metal and bouncing off of him, giving him enough air and speed to outrun the crumbling path behind him. Metal was falling but he too was able to recover and start flying again. While the two Sonics faced off, Rainbow Dash and Metal Dash were locked in an airborne chase. Just like Metal Sonic, Metal Rainbow began to charge power and unleash it in an electrified blast! Rainbow Dash was paralyzed for a few seconds but was able to flap her wings before losing altitude. She then charged her Metallic self and rammed it, sending it flying. “Take that!” she exclaimed proudly but her smile faded as she saw Metal Dash rocketing straight at her! Rainbow suffered a direct hit, but was still strong. Back on the ground, Sonic was still going strong as well as Metal Sonic. “You might know everything I’m going to do, but that’s not going to help you since I know everything you’re going to do! Strange isn’t it?” he exclaimed. Suddenly, Metal began to charge into some nearby poles and pipes, snapping them off and sending them directly at Sonic! Rainbow noticed this and rushed in front of Sonic, countering them back at Metal! “Nice job Dashie! How about you and I switch places?” he asked. Rainbow nodded and grabbed Sonic. “Go for it!” she said, flinging the pot-bellied hedgehog at Metal Rainbow! Sonic curled up and began to spin rapidly, then launched himself right at Metal Rainbow, sending her to the ground. Sonic then landed right on top of her! Rainbow Dash accelerated at Metal Sonic. Before she hit, a Sonic Rainboom formed, causing both robots to malfunction due to the powerful sound and shockwave! This gave the two heroes their chance! Sonic spindashed into Metal Rainbow while Rainbow landed a powerful kick on Metal Sonic! As the two Metals recovered they decided to finish their enemies once and for all. They charged up electrical power again, frying their circuits in the process! Sonic and Rainbow noticed this and began to speed ahead. The robots unleashed their maximum power, surrounding themselves in an electrified shield, and charged the two heroes head on! Instantly they were catching up! Rainbow grabbed Sonic again and flew up but the two electrified robots were still heading right for them! Just before they could hit, their electrified force field wore off, leaving them weak and vulnerable! “Now’s our chance!” Sonic exclaimed letting go of Rainbow and landing one last homing attack on Metal! Rainbow charged Metal Dash and rammed it hard, leaving it to fall towards the ground a long way down! After a few seconds, a small light illuminated the darkness below. Metal Dash was defeated! Sonic landed then jumped up one more time as Metal used the last bit of his power to attack. “Hey Metal! You lose!” With one swift roundhouse kick, Metal went airborne and after a few seconds, exploded! The metallic duo was defeated! Sonic and Dash smiled and high-fived each other. “Alright! Nice job Dash!” Sonic exclaimed giving a thumbs up. Rainbow landed next to him. “You were pretty good yourself!” she commented before something hit the ground in front of her. “Hey! The Chaos Emerald!” Sonic said, picking it up. “Well we got what we came for! Now let’s head back to the others!” he suggested. Rainbow nodded. “Hop on. Its gonna be long flight back!” Sonic nodded and did so, clutching the Emerald in one hand and holding onto Rainbow Dash with the other. And with that, Rainbow flew off returning to the cells where the girls were waiting for them.
