Back at Eggman’s lab/base in the Everfree Forest, Eggman found out something that was unexplainable, Orbot and Cubot have been secretly following him! “WHAT?! How is that even possible?!?!?!” Eggman exclaimed. “Well boss it was quite easy actually.” Uttered the spherical robot. “You see, when your time portal closed, another one opened. Cubot insisted we go with you and I had no other option but to say yes and follow you. Although Cubot got mixed up in some other time period. So he’s probably enjoying himself right now so I guess I’m at your service!” Eggman didn’t really didn’t want him around but the project was way behind schedule so he had no other choice. “Well, my project is behind so fine. You’re in!” Eggman sighed “I’ll do my best!” Cubot promised. “Good! Now go get that time table fixed! And while you’re at it, send out the Egg-Pawn army!” Eggman ordered. “That should take care of Sonic for now. This leaves me doing MY part in this project. Figuring out how to harness the energy source from those elements of harmony and making sure Sonic doesn’t screw anything up! And since Discord failed to beat him, it’s time to send out one of the big boys!” Eggman said as he pushed a button on the control panel labeled: #1. “Let’s see you get past THAT Sonic! Now time to get down to REAL business. NIGHTMARE!!!! GET IN HERE!!” Eggman yelled as a cloud of bluish smoke appeared in front of him then faded away revealing the Princess’s sister: Nightmare Moon! “You called your evilness?” She said. “Yes. You wouldn’t happen to know how to unleash the power of the elements of harmony. Would you?” he questioned. “As a matter of fact, I do! BUT! I want something out of your evil plan: Eternal Nighttime!” She demanded. “What? Oh all right fine! Nighttime forever it is! But first you must tell me!” “Deal! In order for the elements to work, their spirits must be present.” She explained “WHAT?! First the elements don’t work and now I have to locate their spirits?!” Eggman exclaimed. “Actually I know what they are. Turn on your monitor.” She instructed. “And let me type in the rest.” She said. Eggman moved aside to make room for her and Nightmare began typing in some commands then hit search. “What did you do?” Eggman asked “Those are the spirits of the Elements” Nightmare said then turned Eggman’s head towards the screen. On the monitor, six windows were opened showing Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie! “WHAT?! They are the spirits?! I captured them but somehow they managed to escape the capsule!” Eggman told her. Then he heard a conversation between the 6 ponies on the screen. He could also hear Sonic and Tails talking!

Sonic: So let me get this straight, you were born with magical abilities? That’s new!

Twilight: Well I guess my abilities are a gift. Although when I was little I didn’t know how to use them very well. That’s why I study a lot, to try and calm my powers down.

Tails: Oh! Well now it makes sense! So, does anyone else have this ability?

Twilight: Actually, Rarity has magic. Don’t you Rarity?

Rarity: Correct! I can do magic as well. Although I don’t use anything special that often. Only if I need to find some gems for my outfits. I just use it to pick up stuff and you know.. move stuff around.

Sonic: Hang on a second, outfits?

Rarity: Why of course! That’s my talent! Fashion designer! Can you not SEE my cutie mark?

Sonic: Cutie Mark? Ok, this world is beyond un-understandable!

Tails:  What’s a Cutie Mark?

Fluttershy: Well, a Cutie Mark is a mark on a pony’s side that shows what their talent is. You get it when you realize what your true talent truly is

Sonic: Oh! Well what are your guy’s talents?

Twilight: Well Rainbow Dash is flying fast, Fluttershy is communicating with animals, Rarity is fashion design, Pinkie Pie is… well I think its throwing parties or always having fun, Applejack is running Sweet Apple Acres, and mine is Magic!

That was all Eggman needed to hear. It was Twilight who got everyone out! “That little…. I should’ve known it was her!” He exclaimed angrily. “Now I know what to do! I must capture them, trap them, and use them to unleash the power of the Elements! It’s so simple! Now all I need to do is program the Egg-Pawns to seek and capture the ponies! Then they’ll bring them back here so I can do the rest! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOAHAHAHAHAHAGGGG (Coughing) I really have to drink some more water!”
