The Big City-Escape: Mane-hattan

Coming down from Cloudsdale, the group realizes they weren’t staying in local limits of Ponyville. They had ended up in the big city, Mane-hattan! The buildings were tall, the atmosphere was loud, and the ponies were nothing but busy! “Wow this doesn’t look familiar at all! Did we travel THIS far?!” asked Sonic. Applejack recognized the city but the others had only heard of it. “Hey I remember this old place! This is the big city of Mane-hattan! Why, I was just a little filly when I came here! My friends know the story but you 2, this is where I realized my true talent and got my Cutie Mark! Oh that reminds me! Tails, where’s that Eggman guy located now?” She asked. Tails pulled out his handheld and was stunned. The screen showed him coming in their direction! “Uh it says he’s heading this way!” everyone was worried. “He’s coming? Why? What would he want from this place?” Pinkie asked. Suddenly her question was answered when an army of Eggman’s robots dropped from a huge aircraft hovering above! They were surrounded! Luckily Sonic was ready for anything! He Burst right through the crowd of robots and made a way out! “Everyone! Follow me! If Eggman’s after us, He’ll have to catch us first! C’mon!” Sonic ordered as everyone ran to keep up with Sonic as he plowed his way through Eggman’s robot army! They were safe but first they had to escape the pursuing armada! (STAGE: City Escape: Mane-hattan) Sonic was running at top speed! With Tails and the ponies right at his side. Suddenly he noticed a fruit vendor’s cart in the way but he had no time to get out of the way and ended up crashing right through it! Some of the metallic debris flew in the air and landed on the ground. Sonic ended up stepping on it, becoming a skateboard! That moment reminded him of a familiar setting when he was back on earth. But Sonic snapped out of it when he realized he was airborne! Sonic couldn’t help but to do some mid-air tricks and flips to impress some ponies. Sometimes he ended up turning into a show off! The ponies most amazed were the 6 ones following him. They went slack-jaw! Even Rainbow Dash! Sonic then looked down to see that his boarding road was coming to an end when he saw a pony express car blocking his way! Sonic decided to just take a chance and go for it. He started boosting to build up speed then WHAM! Sonic was feeling a little guilty but the only thing on his mind was to get away and fast! The aircraft was catching up! As sonic landed, he noticed something that was hard to explain: Twilight and the others had hopped on boards too! Except Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy! “What? It was the only way we could keep up with you! I mean you are pretty fast!” Twilight explained. Then she noticed that the aircraft was right above them! “Everyone hide! I’ll distract him!” Everyone obeys as Sonic looks up “Hey Eggman! If you want my friends first you have to go through ME! That is if you can CATCH me! THIS WAY SLOWPOKE!” Sonic taunted as he started running and Eggman’s craft gives chase! Meanwhile, in a nearby ally, the group heard everything and was impressed with Sonic’s stalling. “Wow Tails, Sonic is quite the taunter!” Pinkie said “Well that’s his idea of stalling and distracting! Also Twilight? What other places are there in Equestria?” Tails asked. “Well so far there’s Ponyville, Cloudsdale, Manehattan, Appleloosa, Canterlot, and the Everfree Forest.” Twilight said. “Wow! That’s a lot!” Tails said.

Meanwhile elsewhere in Manehattan, Sonic was caught in a wild game of chicken! Eggman’s ship was trying to shoot him down but Sonic was too fast. “Wow you suck at this. Don’t you? Try aiming better!” Sonic Mocked. The Ship was done with playing around! Suddenly an army of guns, lasers, and cannons appeared and pointed directly at Sonic! “WOAH! OK! No need to get all violent!” Sonic exclaimed. Then Sonic was miraculously saved when he passed under a tall building but the ship wasn’t so lucky... BOOM!! The entire vessel crashed into the building setting off a fiery explosion! Sonic was relieved. Then changed course when he saw another ship that looked just like the one he just destroyed. Sonic was puzzled. Then Tails caught up with him. “Sonic! We’ve got a big problem! Turns out Eggman built another ship and now he just kidnapped Twilight and the others!” Tails explained. “WHAT?! Whoa! That I didn’t expect! I just saw another ship heading that way!” Sonic exclaimed. “Well what are we waiting for!? We got to save them!” Tails exclaimed. Then they rushed off to catch up with the airship.

Meanwhile, Twilight and the others had been captured and put in the prison area in the ship. Everyone was hoping for Sonic’s arrival. “Everypony ok?” asked Applejack. The others nodded. “I never thought I would end up like this all caged up and being held captive by an evil bald dude with bad nose hairs” Pinkie said “I heard that!” Eggman said as he lowered down on a platform from the ceiling. “And that’s not very nice is it?” Eggman questioned. “You’re the one that’s not nice!” Pinkie yelled. “Why are you even ponynapping us? Why?” Twilight demanded to know. “Well I’ve been secretly monitoring your every word and move and I found something useful for my plan: YOU!” Everypony gasped. “How are WE supposed to help YOU!?” Rainbow asked. “I learned more about these!” in his hand he had... “The Elements!” Twilight exclaimed. “That’s right! And what’s more, YOU are the energy source! Oh look, they’re already glowing!” The elements started glowing intensely! “I figured I could use you as my energy source then harness that energy and rule this world! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!” Eggman laughed maniacally Everyone gasped again. “Now be cooperative and I won’t have to do anything nasty.” Eggman instructed as the cell doors started opening. But Twilight and the others refused to move. “NO!” They all said together. “Well you forced me to do this and you WILL regret it!” Eggman said as he pushed a button on a control panel and suddenly in each cage, appeared 2 robotic tentacles with sharp ends and suddenly the ponies felt 100 watts of pain course through their bodies! “AHHHHHHH!!!” they screamed in pain. When it was over they fell to the ground injured but alive. “NOW will you listen?” Eggman questioned. All the ponies nodded weakly. “Heheheheh!” Eggman laughed as Egg-pawn guards lifted them up and carried them away. “I never thought it would be this easy!! I just waited for Sonic to fall for the ship’s decoy and BAM! I caught them! I KNOW Sonic’s in hot pursuit of the real ship so I have a trick up my sleeve! Sonic will never get past HER! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!” Eggman laughed.

Meanwhile Sonic was in hot pursuit….
