The Adventure of Five Friends on an Unknown World

Chapter 3: The Crystal Empire Conflict

Sora and Riku smiled to each other as they wore armor, having the job to help with the jousting festivities or rather not a joust, but a show of their fighting skills to the ponies of the Crystal Empire. The down side of it was the fact that they also had to show their powers to them in the fight if they want it to be entertaining.

With a sigh, Sora prepared his kingdom key and looked at Riku who had his Road to Dawn keyblade in his mouth. They stood there in a large arena field where dash had thrown them into without a warning and handed them armor.

Sora looked forward and smiled as he charged at Riku, jumping up and aerial dodged past an attack, but then with the slight opening that showed itself. Sora would deliver one blow after another,  but before he could finish, Riku summoned his dark shield which caused sora's keyblade to bounce off and for him to stagger back.

Riku smirked a bit then raising a hoof up he charged up a dark firaga and jumped up, shooting it towards Sora, making contact and blowing up in his face, causing Sora to go flying and crashing into the nearby wall. Sora would slowly get up, moving some rubble with ease before smiling. "Nice shot, now try mine."

Sora charged forward, moving faster than some thought possible, seeming to both teleport and glide to Riku. As he did Riku tried to charge at Sora form the air, about to attack Sora before his eyes widened, his face going head first into a protect spell that Sora threw up with his keyblade.

"Light!" Sora cried out as he dropped his spell, his eyes suddenly going white as he slammed his keyblade into the ground. Riku, who was stunned, watched a bit as Sora jumped and twisted with the keyblade, before Sora landed on all fours and gave the kingdom key a final twist. A large amount of light would shoot out form that point, blinding and shooting Riku across the arena floor.

Sora's eye turned back to their sea blue as he pulled out his kingdom key and charged after the bouncing Riku. Riku slowly would get up on all fours during this, but then he looked up and smirked. "Didn't expect that old trick, but here's one you might find familiar." Slowly Riku would close his eyes and then float up as his darkness surrounded him, then he would charge after Sora, only nicking Sora as he dodge-rolled, but was met with a full on assault as Riku teleported in front of him and kept on doing that each time it hit.

Riku then appeared above Sora after fifteen hits and charged down, shooting Sora back with a shock-wave before a few dark thundragas came from the ground and struck Sora, causing him to grunt and fall down in pain. Shaking slightly he started to slowly get up, a slight black and white electric current going from one point of his body to another. Neither him or Riku would be backing down in this fight unless they heard-

"AAAAH! HELP!" Their eyes darted up to the cry that came from somepony who had screamed and both were instantly rushing to the pony who was being attacked by heartless.

"Help me!" Sora and Riku both stopped and looked at another pony who was being attacked by the heartless.

"RIku you go and help that pony, i'll help this one!" Sora would then turn around and charge towards the fray, slicing heartless down one by one as Riku quickly charged after the other pony and did the same with his group of heartless.

IT was short work that they did with all the heartless, continuously slicing them down before the group that attacked the two ponies where no more. They both were thanked and they simply smiled and nodded before hearing a massive crowd nearby start screaming at the top of their lungs for help. Riku and Sora charged into the fray, not knowing what lay ahead of them.

Soon they found that the darkness had finally broken in and that columns of black rocks had captured some ponies and were bringing them towards the dark mist that now slowly crept onto the city. "Riku, try to get the towns people, i'll handle the mist."

"Sora are you- Hey!" Riku was cut off half way as Sora just started to haul towards the black mist that was slowly descending on the castle, leaving Riku who started to hack and slash at the cage.

Sora started after the mist, then stopped ten feet away from it where he thought of one move that was extremely affective against his foes before. With that he would throw his key up and jump, catching it as he dived down tot he ground and twisted his keyblade, soon an extremely bright light started to shine from it, causing the mist to be forced back a few feet before it surged forward, hitting sora, and causing a few black rocks to appear on his head as he was sent flying, flying into and destroying the cage before skidding on his wing a few more feet.

"Sora!" Riku rushed over towards Sora as the ponies who were freed started to run for the city hall, where the supposed crystal heart was to be in a few minutes.

Grunting a bit in anger, Riku started to slowly pick up Sora and put him on his back. Sora slowly grunted, trying to protest before Riku shook the injured pony on his back. "I am not leaving you behind." Sora weakly smiled at this as Riku started at a full charge towards the town hall, following the crystal ponies who were running there as well.

As they started to get close, a barrier appeared between them and the other ponies, then a large darkside started to slowly rise up form the ground. Gritting his teeth a bit, Riku set down the damaged Sora and then turned to the darkside, starting to fight the giant beast on his own, not noticing what was happening past the barrier.

The Mist had passed them and was slowly going towards the ponies, forming into a black unicorn, but then the unicorn stopped and went after a small, blue heart which a purple dragon as trying to get. Just as the thing was about to get the dragon and the heart, cadence swooped in and saved both of them, then the rest is pretty well known, the crystal ponies filled the heart with their light and soon the entire city was made out of light, banishing the heartless, the black stones, the black unicorn, and also turning all the ponies in the city into crystal ponies for a short time.
