Previous ChapterNext ChapterWhile the fire and bullets spread through ponyville, Canterlot was still unaware of the human presence. “You hereby are banished to the deepest depths of thy dungeon, my guards will escort you down, resistance is useless! With you outta my way I can finally take over the realm of...” She pondered for a minute. “Ansonia!” Luna laughed maniacally, Playing around in Celestia’s chair as she slept. A letter from Twilight snapped her out of her dark fantasy. As Luna read the letter, her blood ran cold as it mentioned time and again of invading two legged creatures and a strange vortex. Although the letter was supposed to be for Celestia, she felt it was her responsibility to save the ponies in danger. As she left the room she stopped when she saw Celestia walking her way. “Luna, what were you doing in the throne room?” Celestia asked as her sister neared the door.
“ErrrrIIIIuuhhhh... I.. Thought I saw the wonderbolts outside!”
“Through the stained glass panes?”
“Uh, yes! That’s why I errr... Couldn’t tell who they were!”
Celestia just smiled and walked away believing she was just playing around. As Celestia entered the room she noticed a long strip of parchment on the floor in front of her throne. “What’s this?” Celestia said as she levitated it in front of her. She chuckled at the letter. “Maybe next time, Luna.” Celestia lit the parchment ablaze,
They are killing them! Shaun thought, his back against the wall of an alleyway. Thinking of a plan to save the ponies he overheard a general barking orders at a squad of soldiers. They moved passed the alleyway, taking advantage he grabbed the last soldier by the neck, and choked him with his own pistol. “This'll come in handy.” He said quietly to himself, as the soldier fell down. Suddenly a radio went off saying the coordinates of where the dead soldier was. “GAH” yelled Shaun as he smashed the radio as fast as he could. A group of soldiers found him from all the noise he had made. Shaun sprinted away not even thinking about the pistol he just obtained.
Time passed by as Twilight hid in what used to be the library. “When’s Celestia going to respond? I sent the letter hours ago!” Suddenly Twilight heard the sound of a metal rod hitting the wall, she panicked as the wall began to break. She tried to hide herself but there was nowhere else to hide. Before the wall collapsed a muffled shot echoed across the ruins of the library, and the banging stopped. Out of curiosity, Twilight poked her head out of the hole, only to find a dead human, holding a crowbar. She looked around for a while, but the killer had disappeared. Twilight squeezed her head back into the library. Soon later she heard voices coming from outside, she pressed her ear against the wall and was by what she heard. “‘You see that castle hanging off the mountain over there? Shouldn’t we go and clear that out too?” One of the soldiers said.
“How are we possibly going to reach that place?” Another said “Wait, is that a train?”. “Oh no, I need to warn Celestia fast!” Twilight said before levitating a quill and paper.
