Celestia's Promise

It was about a week after the defeat of King Sombra. Princess Celestia was on her thrown, levitating a quill and scroll, writing something down. All was quiet as the soldiers stood at Celestia’s side. Celestia stopped writing and sighed. She looked at the stained glass window with the Crystal heart. The 1000 year banishment had been lifted, yet Celestia still had this void between it. Like something was still wrong. The magic of her horn faded as she dropped the scroll and quill. Her gaze switched to the entrance of the room and she began.

“Please get Princess Luna right away.” Her voice was stern and her gaze narrowed. “Go.”

“Yes Princess.” One of the solders replied firmly, as he ran out the exit.

Celestia sighed. She had thought about all the drastic things that happened that year. The year King Sombra exiled the Crystal Ponies from existence was the year Luna became Nightmare Moon, and her love, Discord, was banished. However, there was a back story to all that. Back when Luna and Celestia were young, and when they didn’t have the fate of Equestria resting on there hooves.
