Pirates of the Marribbean
Prologue- Luna's descision/ Celestia's letter
Luna looked at the three bodies hanging from nooses, and finally put the note down.
Dear Sister,
Luna snuck into the harbor, and untied Celestia's largest boat, then boarded it.
For many years I have looked out my window, and saw the bodies dangling loosely, bodies of the one thing you truly hate...
She pulled up the plank to let other ponies board, and began opening the sails.
I remember when you banished me for a whole millenia, do you know what I did while I was forced to the seas sister?
Luna smiled as she felt the wind across her face once more, and felt the ship begin its leave.
I became what you hated most, a pirate, robbing, plundering, and being a captain of my ship, and you know, I learned something when I came back...
'I'll need a crew, to help man the ship, and I think I know one pony who's up for the job.' Luna thought to herself, and felt the boat flowing down the river, and off the waterfall once again as she had done all those many decades ago. The boat splashed down below into the ocean, where it belonged, along with Luna.
When I was on that ship, robbing and plundering, I always thought it would be best to be back in my safe bed in Canterlot...
Luna turned the wheel, and started a course for Ponyville.
And when I came back, I was so happy to see you again, and for a while, everything seemed alright...
Luna made sure to go towards deep water before heading out, so she would not be noticed. She smiled a devious smile as she thought about what she was doing.
But after a while, I noticed a change about you, you were off, and you took such evil joy in killing pirates, that I was deterred by the only one I wanted to see while I was sailing...
The wind at her mane, and ruffling her feathers, and the sea spray dusting her horn, leaving a dewey residue on it, and Luna just smiled wider.
I also noticed another few things, one, the soft feather pillow, was too soft...
'No going back' she thought, she tried to smile more, but found she couldn't. 'Oh great sea, I missed you.' Luna thought, then let out a whole hearted laugh.
The calming smell of the castle, was boring...
The small lights of Ponyville came into view, and she went around the small penninsula, and docked in the caves, hiding her ship well, then stepped off.
And you still wouldn't listen to anything I had to say, no matter how important it was, you still treated me like a foal, so you know what I say to you?
Luna went through the small grove of trees on the edge of the Everfree Forest, and started towards her destination.
"I am leaving once again, this time for good, you uptight snob, and don't expect me to visit for anything other than my funeral, I love you, but you treat my like nothing, therefore, I go to where I belong, and that is on the sea." Celestia read aloud, then put her hood in her hooves, and let a single tear run down her face.
"Aunt? Are you alright?" Prince Blueblood asked, "She didn't belong here anyways, the way she always acted, saying that the ponies needed more freedom, what did she know?"
"Get out of my sight." Was all Celestia said, with a very dangerous tone. Prince Blueblood was gone, leaving nothing but a dust cloud sillouette of himself.
Pirates of the Marribbean
Pipsqueak sighed as he completed another sword, and set it on the large rack of swords, that was his tenth in just an hour. The sun was just starting to shine it's warm rays across the Maribbean ocean, and on Ponyville. "I just wish something would happen, sure making swords is great, but I want to be able to use them, oh to sail the seven seas. And have by side, none other than-- PRINCESS LUNA!" Pipsqueak jumped back in surprise as the alicorn mare smirked at his antics. "Oh, uh, Your Majesty," Pipsqueak concluded with a low bow. Luna just rolled her eyes.
"Not your princess anymore Pip, nope, I have decided to denounce the throne for one thing that truly beckons me, I am now the princess of the seas, and captain of the Star Swirl, when I get that great ship back of course. As for now I commadered Celestia's fastest ship, the Golden Griffin." Luna said, looking around Pipsqueak's smith.
"Who's training you? Their work on these swords is excellent." Princess Luna said.
"Oh, uh, that would be Bert, he, uh left to get some supplies." Pipsqueak said. Luna gave him a look.
"Really? You know, I'v known you since I've been back, and I have learned how to tell if you are lying, so I'll ask again, who makes these swords?" Luna said, looking Pipsqueak straight in the eye.
"It, me, I make these swords." Pipsqueak said, sighing after realizing he couldn't keep anything from Luna. "So, Princess, what really brings you here today, and what's with the pirate antics? You haven't played pirate with me since I was a foal." Pipsqueak said, sitting down on a bale of hay, which Luna sat next to him on.
"Who said I was playing? Do remember the stories I told you about being a pirate, and the captain of the Star Swirl, the cursed ship?" Luna said.
"Yeah, but they were just stories, there is no way you were the Black Hawk in reality, that's just illogical, somepony of your beau, er, form, would do something as awes, uh, I mean, evil as that." Pipsqueak said.
"What do you mean evil? You always said that you wanted to be a pirate. As a matter of fact you were just daydreaming about it not two minutes ago." Luna said.
"There is a difference about daydreaming about the somepony you have had your eye on for some time, and daydreaming of being a pirate." Pipsqueak said.
"Hm, so if I told you you had a chance to taste the salty sea breeze, and be my second hand stallion on the Swirl, you wouldn't be interested the slightest?" Luna said.
"Oh yeah, I'll join you on the seven seas in a heart beat," Pipsqueak said with a chuckle, getting up and going back to the forge, "but it will never happen, only an old fairy tail that kept me going when I was a colt." Pipsqueak said.
"It was true."
"What was?" Pipsqueak asked.
"The stories, The Star Swirl, and the thousand year reign of terror of being the most feared pirate of the seven seas, they were all true, and, I want to make new adventures, so, this is your chance, will you join me?" Luna replied.
"Wait, you're not kidding?" Pipsqueak asked disbelievingly. Luna shook her head.
"No Pippy," Luna paused, standing up majestically, as Pipsqueak blushed at his nickname Luna had given to him so long ago, "I'm not kidding, all this talk about harmony, and everypony deserves life, it's a load of horseapples, I have seen so many pirates hung at the gallows, and hung right outside my window, I will never forget their rotting bodies, no, I am for the sea, and if you wish, you may be my second hand man, I'll even grant you the power of my life force, to create a bond so we may both live with each other till the ends of time." Luna said. Pipsqueak stared.
"Life force?"
"It is a property that an alicorn can bestow upon a select few ponies, causing them to be linked in life, and in mind, forever, if one dies the other does, but time cannot kill them." Luna said.
"Blimey, of course I'll join ya, I've been wa'ing for a chance like this!" Pipsqueak said excitedly, talking in his natural accent that he had spent years trying to cover up. Then a knock on the door stopped his excited look, and he regained composure. "Hide, princess, if anypony else knows you're here, we'll never leave." Pipsqueak said under his breath. Luna nodded, and jumped behind a large pile of hay. Pipsqueak walked towards the door, and opened it, just slightly. A pink face was staring at him, and he instantly knew who it was, the local Lady, Diamond Tiara. He opened the door the rest of the way.
"Took you long enough, who were you talking to?" She said snobbily.
"Nopony, what do you need ma'am?" Pipsqueak said.
"Are you sure? I thought I heard you talking?" Diamond said.
"Oh yes, well I tend to, well, talk to myself, it does get lonely around here, why don't you come on in ma'am, and we can discuss business." Pipsqueak said, really hoping she wouldn't agree.
"Very well." Diamond stepped inside. Pipsqueaked mentally groaned as she sat on the hay pile that Luna was hiding under.
"So what do you need? I'm sure Bert would like to know what such a rich Lady is doing here." Pipsqueak said.
"Actually, I'm not here for Bert, I'm here for you Pip." Diamond said, and then seemingly out of nowhere pulled a hoof bracelet out of nowhere, "Pipsqueak, we've known each other for quite a while, and I would like to know, if you would like to be my husband." Diamond said, holding the hoof bracelet out.
"What? Okay, definately not the wierdest offer I've gotten today, but still, that was pretty wierd. Diamond shifted slightly, and ended up kicking the hay pile, and it gave small "oof" Diamond shrieked slightly, as the hay pile moved.
"You know that really hurt" Luna said, rubbing the side of her head with her hoof. Diamond Tiara went wide eyed, then passed out.
"Oh crap, what now?" Pipsqueak said, catching her as she fell, "Damn she's heavier than she looks." Pipsqueak said, but still lifted her easily onto his back.
"Lay her on the hay pile, grab two of your best swords, and get out of here quickly." Luna said, Pipsqueak nodded, and did so, right as a large boom sounded from outside.
"Oh what now?" Pipsqueak said, poking his outside slightly to see everypony running in panic, and a large ball of firey rock was burning in front of him, and then came the Star Swirl...
