The towns ponies want to try something different, and their prayers are answered. A new pony has moved into town, and she sells pumpkin pie, something the Apple family has never dreamed up. The Apple family always enjoy competition, but Applejack has gotten jealous of the pony's boost in business. After a brief talk, the new pony challenges Applejack to a challenge.
