What We're Going To Do Today

It was a bright and sunny day in Danville, perfect weather for coming up with new ideas. The short red haired and pointy headed boy named Phineas was lying under his backyard tree next to his ever silent green haired brother, Ferb.

"Hey Ferb, we haven't gone anywhere interesting for a while now. When was the last time we tried a different universe?" asked Phineas.

Ferb took out a calendar, looked at it for a moment and shrugged.

"Great! I know what we're going to do today. Let's get started," said Phineas excitedly as he took out his cellphone, but paused for a moment. "Hey... where's Perry?"

~~~Meanwhile, on the other side of the Tri-State Area~~~

"Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated!"

Agent P had been assigned to once again stop Doofenshmirtz from wreaking havoc on the Tri-State Area. He flew straight for the tall purple building and crashed into Doofenshmirtz's home. After he crashed, he was immediately trapped by a large amount of super-quick drying plaster.

"Ah, Perry the Platypus! So nice of you to crash by. And I mean crash literally, you broke down my wall for the fifteenth time this week!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz while motioning towards his destroyed wall.

"But at least you crashed into the wall that was still wet, so I don't have to try and trap you! How convenient. Norm! Fix the wall again." Doofenshmirtz ordered his giant robot, Norm.

"I will fix the wall, again!" said Norm as he picked up the bucket of plaster and began to rebuild the wall.

"Good. So, where were we? Ah yes! My evil scheme, but first a quick backstory! You see, in my childhood there were never many bright colors in my life. You remember Gimmelshtump? It was never a very pretty village, all this grey and brown, everything was so dull and blah blah blah. Anyway, I have created the Colordisintegratorinator!" Doofenshmirtz revealed a large metal machine with a giant hose attached to it.

"It sucks away all the color from anything, and I will use that color to brighten MY building, and it will become the most colorful building in the world! Everywhere else will become so dull that everyone will want to come to my building, but I'll make them pay for it! I'll make MILLIONS!"

Perry rolled his eyes.

Doofenshmirtz scoffed. "Don't you roll your eyes at me! This plan is sure to work! Even after all the others you've foiled. I've just got to find a large source of color first, the machine runs on the stuff and I only have enough to run it for a few seconds, so I gotta find a huge amount of color! Luckily I have this Colortrackinator, which shows me where there's the most color, so let's start looking!"

Doofenshmirtz put his Colordisintegratorinator machine on a large flying scooter, and also brings along Perry for the ride. He couldn't just leave his nemesis all alone in his apartment evil lair.

"Okay, let's get the searching party started!" said Doofenshmirtz as he opened the retractable ceiling and took off into the sky.

~~~Back at the Flynn Household~~~

"Ooo, those boys are soooo busted!" said Candace as she watched her two brothers work in the backyard from her window.

"Candace? Candace are you there?" Candace looked back at her cellphone and completely forgot about ever calling.

"Oh, sorry Stacy, gotta go! Phineas and Ferb are up to something, and I've got a gut feeling this time!" Candace hung up and dashed downstairs. The tall and long necked red headed sister of Phineas and Ferb had been trying to bust her brothers for the past three summers, failing every attempt at showing her mom what insane things the boys had built. But this time, oh yes, this time she was going to nail them for sure.

"Mooom! Moooom! MOM!" Candace's mom was no where to be found, so she walked into the backyard. "Phineas! Do you know where mom went?"

"She's downtown shopping." answered Phineas.

"Rrrgh! She had to pick today of all times!" exclaimed Candace. She dashed out the door and down the street towards the downtown shopping mall.

Phineas was looking at some blueprints. "Wow Ferb! This portal is coming along great. Pass me the void converter."

Ferb passed his brother the required tool and soon after their friend from across the street, Isabella, walked in. "Hey guys, watcha doin'?"

"Hey Isabella! We're building a portal to another universe!" answered Phineas. "You wanna come?"

"I would love to come! But I can't, I have a dentist appointment in an hour, I came just to see whatever you guys were up to." answered Isabella sadly.

"We ain't got no lame dentist appointments!" Another voice called out.

Suddenly their friends Buford the Bully walked into the backyard, carrying Baljeet the science nerd fireman style.

"Hey guys! You wanna help us build a portal to another universe?" asked Phineas. Ferb continued to hammer in the background.

"I don't have the time, I heard there was a new math museum opening in town tonight! I'm going to be sure to be the first in line." answered Baljeet from behind Buford.

"Nerd." Buford tossed Baljeet on the ground with an 'Oof!'

"Cool! What about you, Buford?" asked Phineas.

"I just came to borrow some gum, you got any?" asked Buford.

"Sure!" Phineas pulled out a piece of gum from his pocket and tossed it to his friend.

"Thanks." Buford walked back out as quickly as he had come in.

"Yeah, I better be going too. Good luck guys." said Isabella.

"I will come with you!" said Baljeet.

"Thanks for stopping by! We'll tell you all about it when we get back." said Phineas as he waved them off.

Phineas looked back at his brother. "Alright Ferb, is it ready?"

Ferb gave a nod.

"Sweet! Fire it up!"

Ferb pressed a big red button. The device was a large platform with three pillars in a triangle. The pillars lit up and began to  spark electricity around the area and create a portal in the middle of the platform.

"It's working! Just a few more minutes and it'll be ready!"

~~~Meanwhile, In Equestria and outside of Sugarcube Corner~~~

"Pinkie, I've just about had enough of your 'doozies'. Whatever it is, there is no sign of it happening any time soon!" yelled Twilight.

"But Twilight! It's just about to happen, I can feel it! This doozy isn't even close to the one I had last week!" said Pinkie Pie, her body vibrating violently.

"Ugh! I give up, I'm going back to the library. Let me know whenever this doozy of yours happens." said Twilight beginning to walk back to the library.

"Ooookiiieee dooookieeee looookkiieee." said Pinkie Pie, vibrating to the point of no return.

Fluttershy and her pet Angel walked by Sugarcube Corner and paused a moment. "Um, Pinkie... what's going on?"

"Fluttershy! There's a great big doozy about to happen! Follow me!" Pinkie grabbed her friend and dashed off towards the edge of town and stopped at an empty field.

The two ponies stared into the empty landscape. "Pinkie, what are we waiting for?" asked Fluttershy.

"Just wait for it! It'll be here in just a minute!" answered Pinkie.

Twilight found them again and approached. "Are you seriously just going to stand here and wait for this doozy to happen? What is it anyway?"

A small light began to appear in front of the three ponies.

"Oh oh oh! There it is! Wait wait wait, I bet Gummy will want to see this!" Pinkie Pie zoomed off and immediately zoomed back with her pet Gummy in hand.

"Here it comes, girls!"

~~~Back in Danville~~~

"Here it comes, Ferb! The moment we've been waiting for!" said Phineas excitedly.

The two boys stood and watched with their eyes wide as their portal opened up into another universe.

Phineas reached out at the completed portal. "Coooool." It was a dark blue color with the texture of water, but could not be seen through.

"I guess we have to go in and see what's on the other side! Let's make sure the portal is stabilized first," Phineas hit a button on the platform to stabilize the portal on the other side. "Alright. Let's go!"

Before they jumped through the portal they heard a loud crashing noise from down the street.

"What was that?" asked Phineas. A familiar chattering noise came from behind. "Oh, there you are Perry! Where you been?"

~~~Five minutes earlier~~~

"Perry the Platypus, you're making this harder than it needs to be!" exclaimed Doofenshmirtz as he tried to fly and hold off Perry the Platypus at the same time.

Perry had managed to break out of his plastered imprisonment and was attacking Doofenshmirtz, attempting to take away his Colortrackinator, but Doof fended off the small platypus. Doof struggled to keep the scooter balanced. Perry was loosing his balance, swinging back and forth on the teetering platform. He jumped onto Doofenshmirtz's backside and climbed over top of him.

"Hey, cut it out! Can't you see I'm trying to fly this thing!?" yelled Doof.

Perry ignored Doofenshmirtz's complaints and kicks him in the face, making him fall backwards. He takes control of the scooter and aims it towards a suburban street, and promptly rips off the control stick.

"No! Now look at what you've done!" laments Doofenshmirtz, frantically trying to reattach the control stick.

Perry tips his hat and jumps off, letting Doofenshmirtz crash down the street.

"Curse you, Perry the Platypus!!!"

Perry activates his glider and softly landing in Phineas's backyard, quickly taking off his fedora and starts acting like any other animal.

"Great, now my Colordisintegratorinator is trashed! But my Colortrackinator is still working," Doofenshmirtz looked at the small radar on the device. "And it shows that the large amount of color I was searching for is just right down the street! Hmm," Doofenshmirtz pulled out a cellphone, "Norm, get down here I need help!"

~~~Back in the Flynn Backyard~~~

"So Perry, do you wanna come on an adventure with us?" Phineas asked his pet monotreme.

Perry let out another short chattering noise.

"Sweet, let's go!" Phineas picked up the little platypus and the two boys jumped through the portal, hopeful to see something amazing on the other side.

Meanwhile, the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz and his giant robot Norm were busy modifying the Colordisintigratorinator and Colortrackinator, combining the two into a portable Color-suck-and-store-inator.

"I am not yet defeated, Perry the Platypus. I will steal as much color as I can find and I will use it on my home and become the new ruler of the TRI-STARE AREA!!!" Doofenshmirtz fired his finished device on the neighborhood around him, sucking away all the colors from the grass, streets and houses, leaving them boring and gray.

"Our houses!" cried the neighbors.

"My shiny new car!" cried another.

"Now I've gone full color blind!"

"My life can no longer get any grayer! Literally!"

"It's working! It's wooorkiiing!" said Doofenshmirtz excitedly. He quickly ran off in the direction of the large color source, zapping away all the color along the way.

~~~Back in Equestria~~~

"Hey Ferb? Where do you think the portal sent us?" asked Phineas as three techni-colored equines stared at the two boys in shock.

Ferb looked between his brother and the strange looking ponies and shrugged. "I believe we have teleported to Equestria."
