Chapters Prologue: My name is Daved Matthews
Hi, I'm Daved Matthews. I'm your average 16 year old 11th grade high school student. I like music, video games, watching videos on YouTube and of course My Little Pony. Now normally that would cause problems at school, but lucky for me, my family recently moved and almost everyone at my new high school is a Brony/Pegasister. Our school mascot is even The Wonderbolts!
The fact that every one's a Brony doesn't change the laws of high school though, so it was still hard being the new kid. I managed to make a few friends though, there's Rio who's similar to Cam from Detentionaire. He's all about gaming and is a wiz at history. Cody is the biggest member of our little group and is man of few words. He looks like he could bench press a tank but is a real softy under his tough exterior and he knows more about ancient weapons than anyone else will ever know, we are all a little worried about that. Then there's Samantha, unlike most blonds in high school she's the farthest thing from a total bitch and is a bit of a tomboy. She probably the only one in the group that can be considered normal and the only thing that can be considered off about her is she is wickedly awesome at the card game Magic: The Gathering.
If you are wondering what my quirk is, I guess apart from being a Brony, would be that I'm all about Japan. I love everything about it, its history, its culture, the language, everything. Hell between me, Rio and Cody, we probably know more about Japan then its leader. Ok probably not but I do know a lot about it and would love to go there one day.
So Anyway, everyone at my school seems to be exited and talking about something called "Project E. Bound ". I tried asking around but every time I ask someone they either ignore me or change the subject, not even my friends want to take about it around me. I've even tried Googling it but every time I do my internet crashes and I have to restart the computer.
Another weird thing is that no one has ever seen the schools vice-principals. They both just sit in their offices all day and most punishments, through rare, are administered by the teachers. No one even knows their name and have started calling them Luna and Celestia do to the fact that there are pictures of the moon and sun on their office doors where their names should be.
I have started getting this weird feeling that I'm being watched and the fact that, even though this has to be the most well behaved school on the planet, there are security cams everywhere doesn't help. It's really weird, people say that they are used by the V.P.s to keep an eye on the students but no one knows for sure.
I know I really shouldn't be complaining, I mean my grades have never been better, I have a good group of friends, the number of douche-bags in the school is extremely low, and the cafeteria sells food that is edible and is still made with Trans Fats. But I can't shake the feeling that something big is going down behind the scenes. And I'm sure this "Project E. Bound " has something to do with it.
"Has he arrived?" A female voice asked.
"Yes Luna he has, on time as usual I might add." Another Female voice said.
"That new student would defiantly prove useful don't you think Celestia?" Luna asked sitting down next to her sister and looking at a monitor that displayed a live image of a student walking in one of the halls
"Perhaps." Celestia said watching the student’s actions.
"Should I start up the program?" Luna asked looking over to her sister.
There was short pause as the view on the monitor changed as the student turned down a different hall and stopped at his locker.
"Yes, launch the program." Celestia said after a while still watching the screen.
"Right." Luna said getting up and walking through the door between their offices and closes it behind her.
"Project E. Bound is a go."
"Hey, Daved. What’s up esse?" A Latino voice said from behind the opened locker door.
"Not much. What about you Rio? Daved asked pulling out a couple of things from the locker.
"I'm cool bro. So, uh, are you, like, still on that whole Project E. Bound thing?" Rio asked nervously.
"Ya and you guys not telling me about it and acting like you don't know anthing about it isn't helping." Daved said slamming the locker closed.
"Ok, so like, maybe we do know something about. But we can't like talk about here dog." Rio said looking around. "If you really what to know, then I'll tell you about it later on Skype, ok ombre?"
"*Sigh* All right man, but you better!" With that Daved and Rio went to go find their other friends before class started.
"Oh god, english is boring. " Daved thought to himself leaning back in his chair. "This guy keeps going on and on, he's like the thing that wouldn't shut up. *sigh* "****
"So, how did you like Project E. Bound?"
"Hmmm?" He said to himself picking up on someones conversation.
"It was cool man, I can hardly believe it was real!" A student near by said.
"shhh, not so loud dude. We're not supposed to talk about it around people who aren't ready, remember." The other student said trying to get him to be quiet.
"Right, right sorry." He said lowering his voice.
"Look it's almost lunch we can talk more than."
"Alright."
" Luna damn it. I thought I would finally get some answers. Oh well Rio said he would explain everything tonight.*" Daved thought as the teacher finished the lesson and the lunch bell rang.
"So did you get around to reading that fanfic I told you about yet?" A muscular guy standing be hind Daved asked.
"You mean the one based on the Myst game series? Sorry not yet Cody." Daved said as he moved through the lunch line.
"You should check it out it's really awesome." Cody said putting some food on his lunch tray.
"Maybe later tonight. Hey I'm a little short spot me a fiver?" He asked seeing he was short five bucks.
"Sure, just be sure to check out that fanfic." Cody said handing him the money.
"All right, all right, god." Daved said as they walk over to the lunch table where their friends were waiting.
"Hey guys." A girl said as they sat down.
"Hey Samantha, what's new with you? Cody asked.
"Not much, won $150 and two new decks at the Magic: The Gathering tournament last night." She said with pride.
"Well that's no surprise. You're the best player in the country." Daved said taking a bite of his lunch.
"Ya Bra, you've never lost game in, like, ever!" Rio Chimed in.
"Thanks guys that means a lot coming from you." Samantha said blushing a bit.
"Hey, it’s all true. You're the best." Cody says taking a sip of his drink.
"Anyway you guy excited for tonight?" She asked looking at Rio and Cody.
"Why, what's tonight?" Daved asked looking at his friends.
"Uh, tell you later Bro." Rio said looking around the lunch room.
"See you later guys." Cody said as they left the school.
"See you later." Daved called as the group started to disperse. "Remember to get on Skype after dinner alright Rio?"
"Ya man, I won't forget." Rio said as he started walking to his house.
Daved waved good by to Samantha before heading to his house. He got home put his bag down in his room and played video games untill dinner. After dinner, he went back to his room and skimmed through fanfics while he waited for the Skype call from Rio.
"Wow, Cody was right that was an awesome fanfic, I can't wait for the next chapter. But where's Rio he should be on by now." Daved said a little annoyed. All of a sudden he gets a notification of a new e-mail. "Probably just more spam." He said looking through his e-mail. "Huh? What's this? Project E. Bound?!" He said reading the title. Daved quickly opened the e-mail determined to get some answers. "What the- Ahhh my eyes!" He screamed as a bright light enveloped his entire bedroom.

Chapter 2: Where Am I And How Did I Get Here?
“Ow, my head. Where am I? Oh god waking up in a mall’s never a good sign. ” Daved thought as he looked around fading in and out of consciousness. “Ok Daved, think, what did you do last night? Ok let’s see; I was reading some fanfiction, waiting for Rio to come on Skype, I got this weird e-mail, then there was this huge flash and…that e-mail? ”
Daved gets up to sees that he is in the middle of some kind of plaza with a bunch of closed shops.
“What the? Were am I? Daved said moving over to a nearby table and checking his pockets before sitting down.“Well, all my money and other stuff is still here but I can’t seem to get a signal." He said holding his phone up. "So I guess calling some one’s out unless I can find a payphone.”
Daved gets up and starts looking around for a payphone or someone who can explain what’s going on.
“Ok, this is weird there doesn’t seem to be anything here except for a bunch of tables and closed restraints.” He said getting a better look at his surroundings now that he was awake.
“Hey Daved.” A familiar Latino voice called out.
“Rio?!” Daved said turning around to see his friend standing a few feet from him.
“Hey man, what'cha doin’ here bro?” Rio asked as he walked up to his friend.
“I don’t know. I was waiting for you to come on Skype when I got this weird e-mail titled Project E. Bound, then there was this huge flash of light and then I woke up here. Right now, I just want to know where here is.” Daved explained.
“Relax bro. This is it, this is Project E. Bound.” Rio said gesturing to everything round them.
“What?” Daved said surprised.
“Come on, I’ll explain on the way..."
(Music for dramatic effect )
"Daved, welcome to Project E. Bound." Rio said as they reached an area that over looked a large part of the plaza with hundreds of people moving about.
"Wow! What is this place?" David asked looking at every one in the plaza.
"Like I said man, this is Project E. Bound. It's like a place for us bronies to gather and meet up with other bronies from around the world. No one really knows what exactly Project E. Bound is for apart from bringing us together but from what we can tell it's a Brony convention that never ends." Rio explained. "That's not all essa, all of all the food is free and is served by Ponies!
"What?!"
"Ya man, real ponies like from the show."
"Cool. So got any idea where I can get some proper answers? No offence." Daved said hopping to get a better under standing of what was going on.
"Non taken and don't worry, that's our next stop. You see, before you can go to down and mingle with every one you have to, like, go see the Princesses."
"You don't mean?"
"Ya man, Celestia and Luna."
Chapter 3: Answers And Questions.
Rio led Daved through the upper level of the plaza.
"Here we are man. Behind these doors are the princesses. They'll like explain everything." Rio said stopping in front of a pair of tinted sliding doors.
The doors slid open as Daved approached them to reveal a dark room.
"Ok here I go." Daved said taking a deep breath.
"I'll catch you latter down in the main area, ok bro. Oh and a little advice, be honest with them. They know more than you might think esse." Rio said as he turned to leave.
The doors close behind him as Daved entered the dark room, shrouding him completely in darkness. A soft amber light began to fill the room to reveal a midnight blue alicorn standing In the middle of the room next to two chairs. The room looked similar to the room were Neo first met Morpheus in the Matrix but without any windows.
"Welcome Daved we have been expecting you." The Alicorn said turning to face him.
"Princess Luna. It is an honor to meet you" Daved said bowing.
"Like wise. Here take a seat." Luna said gesturing to one of the chairs. "Unfortunately my sister is preoccupied and is unable to be here. Now I am sure you have many questions so I will answer them to the best of my ability.”
“Yes I do, like how are you even real? And how did I get here? ” Daved asked letting out most of the emotions he has been holding back.
“The answer to your first question is rather…complicated and I’m not at liberty to say at this point in time.” The princess of night said a little unsure of herself. “To answer your second; do you believe in fate, Daved?”
“Sort of.” He said.
“How so?” Luna asked.
“I believe that everything has a beginning and an end, but you decide how to get from point A to point B.” Daved said wondering what it had to with why he was there.
“I know exactly what you mean. You are here because, like everyone else here, you enjoy the show My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and are a dedicated Brony. Because of that you were enrolled at Dostluk High School where we could keep an eye on you. After some time Celestia and I agreed that you were ready, so we brought you here.” The midnight blue alicorn said gesturing to everything around them.
“You didn’t answer my question.” He said with a little smile on his face.
“Quite right. Interesting. Most people don’t realize that until they have left the room.” Luna said leaning back in the chair.
“Well I make it a habit to pay attention to what people say to me.” Daved said stretching a bit.
“Indeed. When my sister and I agreed that you were ready, I launched a program that we developed that allows us to send teleportation spells through e-mails. When you opened it, the spell activated and it teleported you here.” She said answering Daved’s question.
“Wow. That’s a lot to process.” He said putting his hand to his forehead.
“Now, I’m sure you would like to go and mingle with your friends, so I will let you go but first take this.” The alicorn said as she levitated a box over to him. Inside was a digital watch and manual.
“A watch?” Daved said pulling it out.
“It’s a special watch that will bring you here anytime you press that button on the side.” Luna explained as he put it on. “The watch is magical so you don’t have to worry about hitting the button by accident in your sleep.”
“That’s good to know.” He said setting the date and putting the manual in his pocket.
“Well, it was nice meeting you Daved.” She said standing up.
“Like wise.” Daved said as the doors opened to show a crowd of people moving about.
Daved bowed to the princess and walked out to go find his friends.
“Hummmm, I wonder?” Luna said to herself as the doors closed behind him.
“Daved, over here!” Cody called spotting him coming out of the room.
“Hey guys.” Daved said walking over to his friends.
“Wow, I thought that Rio was just joking when he said that you were here. Uh, no offence.” Samantha said.
“Non-taken, Hey do you think we could get something to eat I’m hungry.“ Daved said as his stomach growled.
“Sure man, the food here is to die for.” Rio said as they started walking to the Food Court.
“Here’s your pizza.” A pony with a pizza slice for a cutie mark said placing it down on the table.
“Thanks.” Daved said as the pony started to walk away. “So do you all have…?” Daved asked gesturing to his new watch.
“Ya man, there really cool and can help keep track of time well we’re here.” Rio said showing him his watch and taking a bite out of a slice of pizza.
“What do you mean?” He asked a little confused also taking a bite of the pizza.
“Well you see, time moves differently here then back home. So the watch displays both times.” Cody said showing him how to switch between the two and taking the third slice.
“Wow, so it’s only been about about half an hour back home?” Daved said shocked that hardly any time had passed.
“Ya, how do you think I find the time to practice for Magic tournaments?” Samantha said taking the last slice.
“Cool. You know I still can’t get over the fact that there are real Equestrians here and that Princess Luna and Celestia are real.” He said looking around at the Food Court.
“I know what you mean bro. I couldn’t believe it either at first. Anyway we should really be getting back to get some sleep, we do have school tomorrow. Rio said looking at his watch and seeing that it was a quarter to eleven.
“Ok, but how do we do that?” Daved asked.
“You see those, like, pillars of light over there.” Rio said pointing to a bunch of lights sticking up out of the crowd. “They're, like, portals back to our home esse.”
“Ya. You just step into one, press the button on the side and it warps you back to your room or were ever you put your return point as. It’s all in the manual.” Cody said pulling his out.
“Alright, I’ll thumb through that later.” He said as they walked over to one of the lights.
“See you guys later.” Samantha said as she walks into the light. She then presses the button on the side and disappears.
“See man, it’s easy. Now you try.” Rio said pushing him into the column of light.
“Ok, so I just press this button and-Wow. Daved said as he pressed the button and found himself back in his room. A noise suddenly came from his computer signaling that someone was calling him on Skype. He then walked over and hit the answer button.
“Hey ombre, you make it back ok?” Rio said adjusting his camera.
“Ya, I did. So I’ll see you at school tomorrow?” He said reassuring his friend he was all right.
“Ok man. See you tomorrow.” Rio said signing off.
Daved closed down Skype and got into bed.
“Man, when I got that e-mail I thought I was finally going to get some answers. ” He thought to himself. “But It ended up razing even more questions left unanswered. Like, what is Project E. Bound even for? And, how are Luna and Celestia real? And what was so important that Celestia could be there? I guess I'll have to find out later. ” With that final thought he slowly drifted off to sleep.
