An official envoy visits Celestia, hoping to retrieve a superweapon that's fallen into Equestria by accident. When the humans discover their hated enemies also in Equestria, however, the innocent land and its denizens have their first taste of modern warfare. Twilight and the remaining ponies must learn the intricacies of modern warfare to save Equestria, but conflict is always more complicated than it seems…
