The slender figure in the fog
Chapter 1: The figure in the fog #1
My name is Oliver. I'm 15 years old and I live in a house in the woods. We had just recently moved there,me and my dad I mean, after my Mom and dad split up. I was searching the internet, looking at things to keep myself entertained. I came across a creature called the Slenderman. Apparently it lives in forests and can stretch its limbs at will. Also it seemed to abduct children. There were also a few things that said some of the children he abducts turn into child slendermen, only cant stretch there limbs and actually have mouths along with the ability to talk. Of course, I just dismissed this as yet another stupid creepypasta thing that only existed on the internet and moved on.
The next morning was my 1st day of school. I got up at 7:30, had a shower, had breakfast, brushed my teeth, got dressed and packed my bags. It was now 8:20."DAD!" I shouted upstairs to hurry him up. He walked down and we quickly went out the door and got into his car. He tried starting it. It did nothing. He did it again. It did nothing. He got out and opened the hood, but since I was still in the car I couldn't see what was wrong.
"What is this stuff?" he asked himself
"Dad what is it?" I asked from the back of the car really wanting to just get to school. I didn't want to be late on the 1st day.
"Some sort of black gooey substance. It's jamming all the machinery." He said."Looks like you'll have to walk.".
"K. See ya later dad" I said getting out of the car and grabbing my bags."Oh and unpack the TV while I'm gone. I need something to do once I get back."I said as I set off through the forest.
School had been all right. Especially for the 1st day. I had made a friend and gone round his to hang out. It was dark now, and really foggy. Unfortunately, my dad hadn't been able to fix the car and he was still trying to get the TV working so I had to walk back too. I was wandering through the foggy forest when I saw him. standing there in the fog. The slenderman. At first I thought he was just my imagination, but then he began walking towards me. I took a few steps back and he sped up his walking speed. When he got up to me he stood there. He looked down at me and I saw the area on his head where a mouth should be start splitting. After a few seconds it opened up into a large mouth and he let out a terrifying streaking sound.

Then I could hear a song coming from seemingly nowhere. I turned around and ran. Ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I ran for what felt like hours occasionally looking back to see how far away from me he was. Then I saw in front of me two child sized slendermen with mouths. I continued running and they waited for the slenderman. Once he had caught up they started to run along side him and began singing the lyrics to the song that was playing.
Slenderman. Slenderman,
His branching arms are for collecting.
Slenderman. Slenderman
His face is empty of expressing.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
He won't let you say goodbye.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
You most certainly will die!
They took a break from singing as the song went on but kept chanting the 'You most certainly will die!' line. I was still running and I knew they were still right behind me. I was begging to loose hope that I could even escape. After a while they continued the song.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Sometimes hums a lowly drone.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
He will wander round your home.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Blends in well within the trees.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
In the fog he's hard to see.
They took another break. I could only guess these breaks were intentional. I wonder how they were so good at song writing. Maybe one of the children he abducted had written it from what he had known about him before the slenderman got him and he decided to use it.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
All the children try to run.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
To him it's part of the fun.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Dressed in darkest suit and tie.
Slenderman.Slenderman.
You most certainly will die.
They began this break by giggling madly before there laughter died out and they were silent once more. The forest seemed more and more dence the further I ran, but I wasn't about to give up my life because of a only having a 1% chance of survival. After all, at least the 1% is A chance, unlike 0.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Dressed in darkest suit and tie.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
You most certainly will dieeeeeeeeee.
They giggled madly before becoming silent. I saw the exit to the forest and ran through it onto a pathway and towards the town I could see in the distance. As I ran away the music died down. Eventually it stopped all together and I began walking towards the town, to save energy unless he came back. There was a house between the forest and the village. I decided to stay there for the night and get help in the morning. I went over to a place next to the house and fell asleep...

Chapter 2: The figure in the fog #2
"It's waking up!" I heard a voice say as I opened my eyes. I was inside a building. I hoped I'd just passed at school and dreamt all that up, but then I saw a purple bubble surrounding me. I climbed to my feet and looked around. I looked to were the voice had been coming from and saw 6 horses."I wonder what it is." I heard the horse. 'Wait...'my brain just caught up. 'Horses. Talking horses. I. Am. Insane.' "I've checked through all the category of creatures kept in the everfree and there's nothing about anything close to resembling it."
"What do you think it could be? It looks like a hairless monkey." said a little purple lizard to her side.
"I'm a human" I said. They all stared at me mouths agape surprised at the fact that I could talk.'Of course. They haven't ever seen a human and are surprised that I can talk.'
"You can talk?" the purple one asks.
"Yes." I respond."What time is it?"
"7:59. Why?"
"What time does it get dark?"
"8:00"
"Oh no."
" 'Oh no' what?"
"I have one minute before he comes to get me."
"Who comes to get you? Get you for what"
"Let me go. I need to run. NOW"
"No. Not until I learn what you are."
"This isn't about knowledge. This is about life or death." I reply getting desperately. I had a matter of seconds before darkness took over the land and he could come out of that forest to get me.
"What do you mean life or death? Just explain!" she said starting to get irritated. The sun outside the windows disappeared and turned into a moon and the land was overrun by darkness.
"Please. Just let me out." I say. She gives up her protest and the bubble disappears.
"Too bad it's to late now." I hear two voices from behind her say in complete unison. We turn around and the two SlenderChildren are sitting on the stairs.
"What are they?" She asks in shock.
"He will be here any second. You can't run Oliver. And soon you will join us." They said before smiling creepily.
"...Are you gonna sing again?" I asked. I REALLY hoped the answer was no.
"Of course. Why wouldn't we?" They responded in unison.
"Why would you?" I asked.
"...When your dead you have nothing better to do okay." They responded.
"Still-"
"Wait what do you mean your dead?!?" Asked the purple horse.
"We mean we are dead. Mister Slenderman killed us and now we will help him kill Oliver."They responded.
"Do you two always say the same thing at the same time?" I asked getting irritated.
"Yes" They answered. The purple horse and the lizard were stareing mouths agape at us before the horse spoke.
"Why are you having a casual conversation with the things that said there going to kill you?!?" She asked.
"Coz there not the ones going to kill me. The one behind you is." I answered back. She turned around and saw the slenderman. He was so tall his head was hitting the ceiling.
"AAAAAAHHHHGGG!!!" The horse and the lizard screamed.
"Yeah we should run."I said and they bolted out the door. I ran after them and that damn music started again.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
His branching arms are for collecting.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
His face is empty of expressing
Slenderman. Slenderman.
He won't let you say goodbye.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
You most certainly will die.
"Why are they singing?" Asked the horse.
"As they said, 'Why not?'." I responded before they started to sing again.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Sometimes hums a lowly drone.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
He will wander round your home.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Blends in well within the trees.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
In the fog he's hard to see.
"Where did they even get the song?" She asked.
"Still trying to figure that out, but as far as I know they will only chase us until they finish the song and will then go back to the forest till tomorow night." I responded.
"How much longer?" She asked.
"One and a half verses." I responded. As soon as I finished the next verse began.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
All the children try to run.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
To him its part of the fun.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Dressed in darkest suit and tie.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
You most certainly will die.
We ran and ran." Only half a verse left!" I screamed
Slenderman. Slenderman.
Dressed in darkest suit and tie.
Slenderman. Slenderman.
You most certainly will dieeeeeee.
They giggled madly and stopped chasing us before beginning to run back to the forest along with the Slenderman.
"Allright. Now I want answers!" The horse said.
"Can we get back to that library first? I need to sit down." I respond.
"Okay."
"Oh and what's your name? If you didn't hear earlier mines Oliver."
"My name is Twilight Sparkle and this is my assistant Spike." She said. 'Seriously? Twilight Sparkle? That is the funniest name I have ever heard.' I thought to myself. After a while of walking we finally got back to the library. She closed the door and said "Right. Sit down. I want answers. NOW!"
