The 4th Tribe

Prologue There is a common fact in equstria knowledge that there were 3 tribes. The Earth Pony’s, The Pegasus and The Unicorns. And that they formed the land of Equstria and led to peace and harmony. But, there is a myth of a 4th tribe of creatures that were there and helped them found Equstria, but they then suddenly disappeared without reason and warning, and so they slowly began to be forgotten, until they were completely erased from history.

Chapter 1 The Best Day of Her life

Twilight Sparkle was in her library, as usual, preparing for a visit from her friend Applejack when suddenly, the front door to her house bursts open as a blue colored Pegasus comes in and crashes into her bookshelf, undoing all the work she had been working all day on.

"RAINBOW DASH", she yells as the Pegasus,gets up looking a little dizzy, shaking her head.

“Oh, sorry Twilight, BUT YOU WOULD NEVER GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED"!!!

"What is it Rainbow Dash"? She asked her.

“You know the contest I entered a month ago"?

“Oh yeah... Could you remind again what that was for"? She asked. Rainbow gave her a look that sent shutters down her spine.

“A 1 DAY AS A HONORARY WONDERBOLT!!!" she started bouncing around and saying "OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH"

"Wow Dashie, said Twilight, when are you going"?

"I am leaving tomorrow morning; I just stopped by to tell you."

"Well Dash, I hope you have fun and tell me everything that happened when you come back got it, in the meantime". Looking at all the spilled stuff on the floor, she sighed, “I have some work to do".

Later on that night, as Twilight was looking through her books, she came across a book called, “Myths, Legends and Spells"

" What’s this, I have never seen this before in my library"? She opened the book to a random page titled, “Basic Summoning Spells"

She read over the spell and was surprised how easy it was. She wanted to try it, but then someone knocked on her door. It was Applebloom, AJ's little sister.

"Oh hey Applebloom, what do you need"

" My sister told me to come over and tell you that she got sick and can't come over tonight, sorry" "It's okay, you can tell Aj that i hope she feels better", Twilight responded.

Applebloom left and Twilight suddenly realized that she had a free night to do what she wanted to do.

She went back in her house and gave the summoning book a odd smile She opened the book to the page with the spell and decided to try it. What could go wrong she thought to herself? She closed her eyes, concreted and tried the spell. After a minute of mind numbing concentration, nothing happened. She felt exhausted and looked at the date the book was published. It was over 1500 years old.

"What was all that noise", Spike yelled down from his room.

"Nothing, go back to bed Spike, you have been working all day", Twilight said back. She goes back and starts looking at the book. She plops herself on to the couch and starts to read.

2 Hours Later. Twilight is fast asleep on the couch, she shifts in her sleep and the book falls over, a new page comes up." The legend of the 4th Tribe"

As she sleeps, deep in the Everfree forest, a creature falls onto the cold, dark earth and slowly gets up and looks around. He is stunned at what he sees. Trees bigger than anything he has ever seen, beautiful rivers and valleys. He slowly gets to his feet and makes sure he is in one piece and that everything is still there. He looks around one more time and says the 1st words of a Human in over 1000 years

“Um... This could be worse;" In the distance he hears a roar of a creature.

"I WAS JUST JOKING!!!!

The Next Day.

Rainbow Dash was so excited she could barley sleep. When she finally did get some rest, she almost fell out of her cloud when her alarm went off. She was finally going to live her dream; she was going to be a Wonderbolt, even if only for a day. She got up lazily and went and made herself some breakfast. She looked up in the sky and saw a storm was brewing. She decided that nothing was going to happen and started to get ready for her big day. She first went and flew around her house a couple of times to get loosened up. She then went back and prepared herself a small snack for the 1 hour fly to Cloudsdale, no need to waste her energy on a simple fly, And with that thought, she took off for what she thought would be the best day of her life, but in reality would be an event the changed the course of Equstria forever.
