Chapter 13- KEEP AWAY FROM THE HAT

Twilights POV

The city was beautiful; it was almost exactly like Manehattan, but like 3 times bigger. Almost everypony was enjoying watching the city from above, except RD.

“GAHH, I’m so bored, can we go down there for a little bit. PLEASEEEEE!!” she was giving me the cutie eyes, and I have having a hard time trying to resist. I wanted to go down there to, but Matt told us not to go down there under ANY circumstances. It was beginning to get dark, and we had about 1 hour left before we had to go. His world seemed so great, but at the same time, I could feel a sense that this can be a very very bad place at times. But I was dying to go down, and so was everypony else.

“GAHH” RD yelled scaring me. She jumped off the cloud and started flying around us, really fast.

“RD, calm down, we can go back if you want to, wait where’s Pinkie?” I looked around in horror, trying to find her.

“Right here silly.” She was jumping from cloud to cloud. Phew, that could have been worse.

“Will yall look at that, that’s really perty.” She was pointing to the brilliant sunset, it was almost as beautiful as the one back home with Princess Celestia doing it . I suddenly remembered that we it was time to go back.

“RD, it’s time to go back, could you push us?”

“Finally, this place has to get 20% cooler and quick.” And with that, she started moving the cloud back to where the TARDIS was. RD was going really fast, I could tell she wanted to go back home. We crossed the river at high speeds and AJ almost lost her hat.

“Woah sugarcube, yall don’t need to go this fast.” She ignored her and sped up. Something was bothering RD, and I want to find out what. We touched down where the TARDIS was last time, but it wasn’t here. Everypony was worried until we heard the strange whishing noise and the TARDIS appeared right in front of us. The doors opened and Matt and the Doctor stepped out.

“Hey, how did you like the city?”: I opened my mouth to speak, but RD beat me to it.

“IT WAS SO BORING, no offense.”

“None taken, but I had fun and got some stuff.” I just noticed that he had had several large bags in his hands and he had a large metal club on his back.

“Matt darling, what is that  awful thing on your head?” she was pointing to a large grey hat with a red and gold star on it.

“It a Russian soldiers hat, it’s awesome.” It really did look cool.

“Matt, here let me take it off and fix it.” She went to take it but Matt jumped away.

“You are NOT taking this hat, if I am not going to eat bacon for a year, then so help me god I am keeping this hat.”

“But it looks so bad, are you sure you don’t want me to fix it.”

“NO, LEAVE THE HAT ALONE” this went on for several minutes before RD calmed the situation.

“I like it, its super awesome, OH could I try it on?” He face palmed and reluctantly gave it to her. She smiled and put it on her head. It was way too big for her. Everypony and even Matt and The Doctor were laughing. (just imagine RD with a Russian hat, I dare you)

“Ok, can I have my hat back please?” she smirked and flew up higher.

“No, its mine now.” She gave him a raspberry and flew higher. He sighed and the hat flew of her head and landed in his hand.

“Wha, how did you do that?” she was flabbergasted.

“The star is made of metal, so I can use my electricity powers of awesomeness to bring it back to me.” He gave her a raspberry and I couldn’t help laughing.

“Your no fun.”

“When you mess with my Russian hat of Russianness, I’m not that fun.” (omg it had a spell check for Russianness, Wow just wow)

“So, what yall do or get in that big city?” AJ asked him; before he could answer he was interrupted.

“As much as I would like to keep listening to this, we sorta of have to go or we’ll be stuck here for a LONG time.” The Doctor interrupted.

“Race you guys to the TARDIS.” We all trotted into the TARDIS except Matt, he was staring at New York.

“ Matt are you okay.” I was watching him just stare and then I saw a tear fall.

“Goodbye my old friend, I’ll be back for you bacon, just you wait.” I saw a couple of more tears fall and he wiped his eyes with his sleeve. I walked over to him and patted him on the back.

“Thanks Twilight, please don’t tell anyone else.” I noded and he turned around and walked towards the door.

Turn off music

“ARE YOU GUYS COMING OR WHAT?” RD yelled. I went inside and so did Matt, but he turned around and waved goodbye to his world. And with that, the noise happened again and the TARDIS rocked back and forth. I forgot how bad the journey was. Everypony was sliding back and forth, except Matt who was almost relaxing on the guard rail. The rocking stopped and The Doctor was back to looking like what he looked like when he came here.

“Hey Matt, what about you come over to the library so you can show us what you got.”

“Ok that sounds good, I have some stuff for you gals.” He sounded like AJ. We all walked out of the TARDIS. We heard the wishing noise and the TARDIS disappeared.

“Well that was rude of him, but I do hope he comes out.” Rarity said.

It was night in Ponyville, so we had to be careful not to wake anypony up. We opened the door to my house and were met by spike.

“WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, EVERYONES BEEN WORIED SICK.” He shouted, I’d never seen Spike this angry .

“its ok spike, we were with The Doctor.”

“The what now, and whys Matt carrying a giant metal club on his back?”

“ I was wondering the same thing spike.” AJ said. Matt turned a bright red and he looked like his hat.

“I’m going to explain that, but 1st can I have something to eat?”

“You sure do eat a lot Mr. human.” Pinkie said

“Well, when you’re this big you tend to eat a lot.” He chuckled. I came out with an apple and he ate it in about 10 seconds flat. We were all staring at him with our mouths open.

“What, it’s good and I’m Hungary.”

“Well if you don’t mind, would you care to tell us why you have a giant metal club on your back?” Spike said rudely.  Matt sat down and began to talk.

“Okay 1st, this isn’t a giant club of death, it’s a baseball bat and it used for playing the game Baseball. I would love to show you it, but not right now. I use it to hit these.” He pulled a small white ball form his bag and tossed it up in the air and caught it again.

“Well, what’s in all the bags?” RD said suspiciously.

“There some Thank you for saving my life gifts, I thought I repay you guys for taking care of me.”

“Yall didn’t have to do this, we would have been happy with an apology.”

“Well, I can’t exactly take them back can I?”  he said smartly.

“Here I got this for you RD.” he took about a book called “Military planes and how they work”

“I don’t really like to read.”

“Well it’s a good thing that there’s a lot of pictures.” She opened the book and was greeted by a giant metal thing. She looked really happy.

“For you Twilight.” He pulled out a BIG book called. “Technology: a guide” i opened the book and I nearly cried, it was an entire book of strange machines and how they worked.

“Here ya go Pinkie.” He pulled out a multi colored book and gave it to her. It was filled with pictures of giant cakes and sweets. Her hair somehow went even puffier.

“And for you Fluttershy.” He gave her a book about animals of earth. She epped in delight.

He facepalmed and turned away as he gave a book to Rarity.

“Don’t make me say it, you have no idea what I went through to find this.” It was a book about human fashion. Matt was treating like it was some sort of disease.

“Are you sure you don’t want me to do something about that hat.”

“NO, LEAVE MY RUSSIAN HAT ALONE.” He yelled. Everypony had a gift and was happy, except AJ.

“Where’s my gift?” AJ said, narrowing her eyes. Matt turned red.

“Well, heres the deal, I got you a gift but its not a book…so please don’t buck me to death.” He took out a large box and gave it to her. It was filled with seeds.

“These are some seeds from my planet, I thought you might like them.” She smiled and said she loved it.

All of a sudden, Matt slumped and fell asleep in the chair, still wearing the hat. Rarity got up and tried to take it of his head, but suddenly withdrew her hoove.

“He shocked me, that was very rude.” We all laughed and went home. I put a blanket over Matt and I went up to go to sleep.
