Luna’s apprentice

Prologue

As Luna raised the moon and the stars for about the hundredth time since her release from the moon. The night skies stars seemed dull and lifeless since Luna has took over the task since her return. Luna returned to her quarters after her job was done. A guard enters saying “Princess Luna you are being asked to come see Princess Celestia Quarters she desires to talk to you.” Luna nods “Yes guard I Will come to see her as soon as possible be on your way guard.” Luna clearly has been feeling out of place ever since her release and reform form the elements of harmony. Not to mention missing her old friends and the feeling out of place since the thousand year difference. And there is the guilt of what she became still in her desires in the past to get attention. This all courses through Luna’s mind as she slowly trotted to her sister room in her lack luster mood which is so present that in all her any attempts to hide it in her face would fail. The guard horns glow nod opening the door to Celestia’s quarters and letting Luna enter and closing the doors behind her as she is fully in the room.

Celestia room was grand being filled with warm colors and gold and white and her cutie mark adorn the walls of her room. “Hello my sister, how are you?” Celestia being stared at Luna with a glare of annoyance “Fine My sister,” With a smug tone. Celestia knew her about Luna’s mood she has been in for awhile now. “Sister I am worried about you ever since your release you been kind of out,” Celestia elaborated “I know you are a bit since the one thousand year change and the sad lose of the few friends you actual had.” Luna looking more tick off then on her worse days. “I am just saying you should taker on an apprentice a young one to teach you about the times and you teach that young filly or colt magic.” Luna gave a smile for the first time in a while saying “We like that idea?” Celestia smiled at her sister “I will give her a full ride as a princess apprentice program,” she says “but, please do not tell them we keep it a surprise for the lucky winner.” Celestia walks out to her balcony and waves for Luna to follow her which Luna quickly comes out onto the balcony. “It’s a beautiful night sky sister;” the two look at each other and laughed “Thank you sister for the wonderful Idea sister I needed something like this.” Celestia smiles looking at Luna “I knew my little sister needed somepony around, I get that the night is a lonely thing to manage since the issue that happen with us. I should have listened to you before what happened.” Luna set a hoof on Celestia. Luna walks out of Celestia’s room. Celestia exits her room “don’t worry the test will be easy as hatching an egg.” Luna looks back and shakes her head and laughs heading back to her room in a slow trot with a smile on her face envisioning her future pupil.
