The test

The next day Luna stay up to watch the test of her possible new student. Luna was pointed to a room where Celestia was waiting and watching the fillies and the colts taking the test and looking at there files as they take the test. Luna yawns as her and Celestia watch. Luna looking at Celestia saying “I thought you were going to wait for me to start the tests of the fillies and colts.” Celestia looks at Luna smiles and says “Yeah you were supposed to get up hours ago and you over sleep when your test began.” Celestia snickered. Luna responds “It is hard for me to get up when the sun is up I am the princess of the night so give me a break.” Luna looks at the test Celestia set up “A chakora egg isn’t that a little obvious on what the prize is then.” Celestia returns to watching the young ones attempt to hatch it, and yet they fail one by one not one could hatch the egg. “It take a lot of magic to hatch one of those egg unless you got magic specializing in the night and I am the only one to really have the power and knowledge to hatch one of the eggs,” Luna rebuttals “Or you need to increase the flow of time around the egg and no pony has been able to do that for over two thousand years.” A filly smaller then the other walks in the test room with really no emotion that is readable at all. “Who is she sister?” Luna says intrigued tone. “That is Dinky Doo. She is the only filly her age to make a spell her age in her town and is self taught. And the smallest pony in the lot of the prospect which most of them are gone now.” Celestia can see interest in her as Luna gets closer watching the young filly.

Dinky smirks looking at the test saying “easy!” Dinky looks at the testing council and watches as her mom walk in with half her face paint yellow and a sign saying go dinky you can do it. Dinky facehoofs at the sight of her mom doing this embarrassing action. Dinky rolls her eyes muttering “I certainly acquired my IQ from somepony else,” Dinky raise her voice saying “Bonjour comment allez vous. Or hello, how are you?” to testing council. The council blinks in shock saying “Hatch the egg.” As Luna watches with much gusto as she can Celestia pipes in “You want to go watch her test in the testing room Luna?” Luna nods replying “Let’s go sister into the testing room.” Both Luna and Celestia walk into the testing room only seeing dinky attempting to hatch the egg yet getting no where with it and stop to get a breath. The council writes something down only saying “one more try go on.” Dinky finally notices the two princesses watching her testing to get in the school. And panic sets in dinky mind trying to hide it in her face. Dinky starts her second attempt her horn glows with a magic that is gold in aura. Luna jaw drop since magic gold in color is rare. Dinky magic warps out ageing chairs and even a council member to an old rickety age and then makes them younger then when she enters the room the egg gets hit with the magic and hatches the bird ages to a point It can were it is a fledgling yet it ages to a flight ready age. The council drops everything as dinky falls down asleep on the spot.

Dinky wakes up a few hours later in Luna quarters. “Where am I?” Looking around at the dark royal blue room with the marl of a crescent moon marking all around the room. She looks around the room finding a bird perched On the side of her bed. Luna comes back in the room and looks at dinky. “Hello there Dinky, How are you little one?” Dinky looks around “Did I get into the school or not?” Luna smiles and answers kindly “No and yes,” Dinky almost cries “you are my student; you are a student of a princess. This means you have a grant that will keep here long as you’re my student.” Hands dinky a card with her picture and the background with Luna’s color and her cutiemark and another cutie mark. “Whose cutiemark is that one?” Luna lifts the blanket and shows dinky her cutiemark saying “It’s your sweetie.” Dinky smiles hugging Luna saying “Thank you Luna…. I mean Princess Luna.” Luna smiles reassuring “Its Ok to call me Luna.” Luna hugs dinky back.
