Rarity's Mirror

Rarity was still in her boutique, the marshmallow mare had been working nonstop for the past few days. The only time that she had rested was when she went to visit Rainbow Dash after the horrific incident. The thought of her friend not being able to fly again was just so... surreal. Rainbow Dash spent more time airbourne than on the ground. Now that her wings are gone...
Applejack hasn’t been seen lately, same applies to Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. They were fine just a few days ago. Now it seems as if they had fallen through the world. Never to be seen again. Maybe she would pay a visit to Fluttershy sometime soon.
Rarity waved the thought aside. She continued working on her dress, lately she had been getting a lot of demands. Although this was good for her business, what good was it to her reputation if she couldn’t get them all done in time? Word gets around quite quickly here in Equestria.
Rarity frantically worked on her dresses, the thought of failing her clients seemed to fuel her one, maybe it was because of hanging around Rainbow Dash too much. Either way, Rainbow Dash had managed to rub off some of her: ”Never say die” attitude onto her.
Rarity took one more glance at the paper sketch of a dress, decorated in diamonds, rubies and various other jewels. She cursed, she only had a quarter of what was needed to make her masterpiece. She needed more jewellery, but she didn’t have time to go out and find some more.
“Perhaps I could try and make my own.” Rarity said
The unicorn lowered her horn and sure enough, a ball of blue light glowed on the tip of her horn. She aimed and fired at a mirror on a dressing table. The ball hit it’s target dead center. And nothing happened. The alabaster unicorn was puzzled, she walked over and stared into the mirror.
Almost instantly, she felt pain shoot through her hind hooves. She glanced behind and saw diamond spikes forming, tearing through her flesh in skin, pertruding from her body. The diamonds slowly grew larger and larger in size and continued to slowly move up her body, up to the point where her stomach was nothing but a ball of diamonds. Poking out of her stomach and puncturing her intestines.
Rarity made one last grab for the mirror. It dropped to the floor and shattered. The marshmallow mare stared into it anyways. She could slowly see bumps forming on her neck, then slowly they tore her skin apart, emerging from her body, covered in blood. Rarity slowly crumpled to the ground, the diamond spikes never ceased to grow. Eventually her head was the next target of the virus. Slowly spikes grew and tore her horn off. It fell to the floor with a thud. Rarity took one more look into the mirror, before her remaining skin and flesh practically exploded of her.
Rarity was gone. In her place was a hideous, bloodstained form of a spiked mare made of diamonds. .
