Celestia and Luna waited at the train station for the Elements of Harmony to arrive.

"Sister, dost thou truly believe that Twilight Sparkle and her friends may aid us with our dilemma?" Luna asked her sister.

"Trust me Luna, if anypony can help it's my student."

"So when did your delusions of being a 'god' begin?" A purple unicorn asked as she sat across from a rather large griffon that laid on a couch.

"I hath told thine rulers numerous times that this is no delusion! I am a god! An Asgardian Prince!"  Thor insisted, quickly losing his patience with the unicorn.

"OH! Twilight I know what we should do!" A pink mare exclaimed as she popped up behind Twilight's chair.

"GAH! Pinkie, don't do that!" The unicorn exclaimed, very much irritated at the interruption.

"He should sing about it! That way we know if he's telling the truth or not!" Pinkie Pie said, bouncing around giddily.

"Sing? Pinkie, I'm conducting a psychological evaluation, not Equestrian Idol." Twilight said in a rather annoyed tone, though this was either lost or ignored by the party pony. At this point, the rest of Twilight's friends entered the room, accompanied by Princess Luna.

"What are you guys doing here?! I'm trying to examine a very delusional griffon!" The unicorn practically shouted as she addressed her friends.

"Calm down Twi, we just wanted to see what the big deal about this guy is." A certain rainbow colored mare said as she flew over to the griffon.

"And we art much intrigued with this 'psychology' thou mentioned Twilight Sparkle. Pray tell, what does it do?" Luna asked. Twilight was about to answer her, when Pinkie Pie interrupted.

"Come on Thor, show us what you got!" Pinkie said as she suddenly pulled out a record player from nowhere. Thor was downright confused, though having lived with a trickster god for nearly all of his life was not as shocked as many would be by this display of universal law breaking.

"I doth say, it hath ages since I partook in the singing of a ballad. This indeed sounds like it would be most enjoyable!" The Asgardian said as he got up from the couch.

"That's the spirit!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed as the music started and a soulful guitar strum was heard. After a minute or two the griffon did indeed begin to sing.

"Across the Rainbow Bridge

To the place where the old gods live

Father sits on throne

Near the place where the frost giants roam

In the winter time

Eating boar with goblets of red wine

And I feel at home"

Thor sung, causing everyone present to be amazed at not just what a good singer he was but at how heartfelt he did so.

"In the old stone halls

Where the warriors all stand tall

And they share the tales

Battles fought, both triumph and failed

And the goddess song

Both sung in a choir and whisper

And I feel at home

Two worlds, trapped in between like

The moon pulls the tides of the sea

Oh I...

Asgard, an heir to the throne or

an earth god, it's not my choice alone

Oh I..."

At this point, Luna saw something in Thor. It was a deep longing. A loneliness. A feeling of despair that she was all too familiar with, having felt the same feeling while trapped in the moon with nothing but the Nightmare to keep her company. Luna then walked over to the record player and stopped it, causing all eyes to look to her with confusion.

"We believe thou art telling the truth about thine predicament." Luna said as she walked over to the blond griffon.

"No one could hath sung such a song with such passion and heart as thou did without having been to the place described. Thou art of Asgard, Thunder God." Luna continued as the Elements of Harmony all stood mouth agape.

"Luna are you absolutely sure Thor's claim is true?" The elder Princess asked as she walked with her sister through the castle halls.

"We would not have brought it to thine attention Tia if we did not believe it to be so." The Night Princess said, causing Celestia to nod.

"I know you wouldn't have. However I will still need to be convinced." The Solar Alicorn said, causing Luna to stop in her tracks.

"This is not a matter of not believing you Luna. It's a matter of whether I believe Thor. If he truly is a god of Asgard, then the truth will come out soon enough."

"Is everything ready Chrysalis?" A smooth and calm voice said from the shadows.

"Of course, but I still need to know how you plan to capture the princess." An insect-like pony replied to the shadowed figure.

"Ah, you of all beings should know that a good magician never reveals his secrets."  The figure said, stepping out of the shadows to reveal a green and black griffon.

"You had better deliver on your promise griffon. Your plan for invading Equestria is brilliant to say the least, but if I sense even the smallest lie then you will pay dearly." Queen Chrysalis said as the griffon just chuckled.

"My dear Queen, I never lie."  The griffon said as he bowed to her, secretly crossing his talons.

"I shall believe that when you tell me how you plan to capture the princess." The Queen said haughtily. The griffon glared slightly at her tone, but then chuckled darkly.

"My dear queen, your kind are not the only ones who can change their shape." The griffon said as he snapped two talons together and in a yellowish-green flash stood as a well built white unicorn with a dark blue mane and a star-shield cutie mark.

"If you believe anything Queen of the Changlings, believe this: Loki never fails."
