"Twilight, wake up!"
"Mmm..."
"Twilight?"
"Gah!"
"Sorry, it's just that you've been sleeping for awhile now."
"What time is it..." The lavender unicorn mumbles.
"11 AM," Spike replied.
"11?!" Twilight repeated angrily.
"Wait, don't worry! Today is your day off remember? "
"Oh... right," The flames died down. "So why'd you wake me up?" She questioned.
Urgency returns to the dragon's voice. "Somepony crashed outside of town! They seemed pretty hurt, and the first thing I thought of was going to you!"
"Then we need to go."
Groan...
A purple stallion with an orange mane lies down in a crater.
"This is him?"
"Yeah."
"He looks pretty bad... Hey," Twilight poked at him. "Are you alright?"
Another groan.
"Let's get him to the hospital," She states. Twilight lifts him up with magic, and makes her way.
After a long trot to the nearest care center, Twilight has gotten our patient into a treatment room, and will now receive a report.
"How is he?"
"Luckily, not too badly hurt. Just a couple of bruises, and maybe a broken leg. So who is this guy?"
"I don't know. He ended up somewhere outside of here."
"Twilight, what if he's... an alien! And, and, what if he's here to eat our brains! And, and-"
"Spike, you've been reading too many Sci-Fi books. He at least appears equine, so looks give him that, alright? I highly doubt he would consider cannibalism of his own species. Although him being able to cause a hole in the ground like that and only have a couple of bruises is insane... Especially with his headphones and necklace completely unharmed, and how did he make a hole like that anyways? He doesn't appear to be that heavy, unless he's made of dark matter... Or falling from an incredible distance. You paying attention, Spike?"
"Huh? Yeah! Uhh..."
"That's alright. Today's my day off, right?"
"Yeah. Today's Sunday, so it's everyone's day off."
"...Should we tell everypony else about this guy?"
"Well, sure!"
"Alright then. Who first?"
Spike and Twilight gather up the Mane 6, and explain as much as they can, even though it's not much.
"...And then we brought him here," Twilight explains.
"Seems legit," Rainbow Dash sarcastically comments. Nurse Redheart approaches them.
"He's awake now. We'll allow one, " She puts a lot of emphasis on one. "Visitor."
"I'll go," The element of magic volunteers. After some nods, she open the door with magic, then closes it as she walks in. The stallion stares out the window with cold, fierce, blue eyes.
"Hello," He flatly greets without turning.
The unicorn tried to swallow the lump in her throat. For some reason, she was terribly nervous. "H-hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle. Spike found you outside of town, and I brought you back here. Are you alright?"
"Alright?" He scoffs, "I don't know where I am, I don't know who you are..." He pauses, about to not say what comes next. "I don't even know who I am..." He explains gently.
"You don't remember anything?"
"Neku Sakuraba."
"What?"
"That's my name."
"Oh, well, it's very nice!" She says, completely brushing off the fact he said he didn't know who he was a moment ago.
He scoffs. "Thanks for helping me, anyways. Where are my headphones and MP3?"
The listed objects float over to his lap.
"Wait.. What?"
"Something wrong?"
"My things just levitated to me."
"Yes, they did! Is this abnormal where you're from?"
"Yeah, we don't have witchcraft over there."
"It's not witchcraft, it's magic. How do you survive wherever you're from without it?"
"That's not important. What is really bugging me is that I don't have any fingers, you walk on 4 legs, and strangest of all, you're purple! "
Twilight's patience was wearing off. "You're purple too," She reminds through gritted teeth.
"No, I'm pretty sure, I'm- Oh. Hmm..."
"Wait." What Neku said just sank in. "Fingers? Were you a monkey, or something?"
"Yeah, sure," He says, half-sarcastically, half-seriously. "A monkey." He puts on his headphones.
"Hmm..."
"Would ya stop staring at me like that?"
"Oh, er, sorry..." Twilight backs off. "How did you arrive here?"
"Hell, if I know. I don't even remember getting here."
"Oh. So what's so special about your headphones?"
"That's none of your business." He puts his head down and faces the wall.
Sigh...
"Maybe another time..." Twilight suggests quietly.

"So? How'd it go?" Rarity asks curiously.
Twilight shrugs. "He's really weird. He's definitely not from here. I asked him some questions, but they just bounce off of him. He said he name was Neku Sakuraba."
"Oh. Where's he from?"
"I don't know! I asked him, but he doesn't know either."
"You know what I'm going in."
"What? Rarity no!"
But it was too late. Rarity had blared in, but settled down when she heard him snoring.
"He's asleep," Twilight snaps at her in a whisper when they're inside.
"I can see that," Rarity responds flatly. "He's kind of... cute, don't you think?"
"Rarity! This is no time for... This!"
"Fine, fine, let's leave."
I can see a face... A girl's face. She has glasses.
Shiki.
How did I know that?
Neku wakes up, and turns to see an orange pony with blonde hair and... freckles. To be honest, he's never seen a human with freckles before.
"Alrighty thar pardner?"
"Yeah, yeah. Who're you?"
"I'm Applejack. You're Neku, right?
"...Yeah." Neku scrolled through the songs. Calling. He hit play.
"Why do you wear those headphones all the time? Don't you know it's rude?"
Neku turns the volume up awkwardly, fidgeting without fingers.
...
Suddenly, they're yanked off.
"What." Neku asks sternly. Applejack's face burns up.
"Are you listening to a word I'm saying? Why're you ignoring me? Is it 'cause I'm a girl?!"
"No." Neku stares coldly into her eyes. "I treat males and females with the same amount of respect: none. If I don't give a rat's ass about you, then you shouldn't to me!"
Applejack starts to slap him, but is quickly restrained by Rarity, who had just entered.
"Lemme at em!" Applejack shouts out, restrained.
"AJ!"
Applejack storms out with Rarity closely eyeing her.
"Twi', he's a no good, son of uh-"
"AJ!"
"I was gonna say 'mule'."
"We need someone else to caretake. How about you, Fluttershy?"
Three other mares nod in agreement.
"It's settled, then. Fluttershy, you're going in."
"B-but-"
"Don't worry about it! He's not one to talk."
"Ok..."
Sigh.
"Another one of you? You're not going to try to attack me like the last one, are you?"
"N-no," The yellow Pegasus squeaked. Neku stopped. He felt truly guilty.
"I'm sorry, it's just.. I'm a bit upset." He tries to explain, but can't find the words for it. Once he discovers this pony isn't one for conversation, he turns the music back up.
"Umm Mister Neku, can you wake up? Your food is here."
"Hmm?" Oh, must've fallen asleep. "Right. Didn't catch your name there."
"It's, erm, Fluttershy." Of course, with her quietness and Neku's headphones, hearing that would be impossible.
"Well, alright then, Putterpie. Well..." He grabs the tray. "Time to dig in. Dig in whatever this is..."
After they had all left, Nurse Redheart came in to introduce herself, as she hadn't had the chance while he was asleep, and relieved Neku by informing him he could leave.
"Alright, and try not to fall from the sky, alright Neku?"
"Yes, Nurse Redheart..." Like he wanted to. He tried to get up, but had a hard time balancing on his hind legs.
"Uhh lil' help here?
He took a step outside, and braced the morning light. It hadn't even been 3 hours, but the time in there felt like a lifetime. He had been told to meet up with Twilight at her library.
What is with these hooves?! He thought angrily. He stomped at the ground in anger. Not because of the hoof thing, but because of his amnesia.
Who was that girl?
I don't get people. Never have, never will.

An author's note? GASP. Anyways, it turns out my keyboard is really glitchy and I might've deleted some parts of some chapters, although a lot of amateur writing was because of.. amateur writing. Anyways, I'd like to thank BuckShot for reviewing this story while not being an asshat about it at the same time. I'll try to review over my writing this time, deal? I (tried to) fixed what I could, so anything you don't like is probably there because I'm an idiot, or saved for a huge revelation for later. Oh, and for you people wondering why Lyra hasn't made an appearance yet, she's probably going to next chapter. (Remember guys, this is under "not completed") Anyways, on with the story!

Neku sits in the comfy bean bag chair reading a Daring Do book while listening to music.
"Neku, you've been awfully quiet lately."
Calling,
"Have I?"
You hear the Calling,
"Neku, look at me."
Calling,
"Hmm?"
Someone is calling...
"...Nothing, nevermind."
Ring Ring Ring Ring...
"I got it," The lavender unicorn volunteered.
"Hello?"
"HeLLo MiSS spArkLe."
"Who is this?"
WhY iTS YoUR deAreSt FRiEND oF cOurse."
"S-Stop, whoever this is, you're starting to scare me."
The line drops.
"Twilight, you okay?"
"Y-Yeah, just some prank caller. Hey.. were you worried about me?"
"I-You freaked out for a second. I just wanted to make sure you were alright."
"Oh. Alright then Neku~"
"Don't be a bitch..."
Okay, maybe he didn't say that, but he did say something close.
"Geez, Neku."
"Whatever."
Grumble...
"Hungry?"
"Sure. What we eating?"
"Daffodil Sandwich."
Neku makes a somewhat chuckling noise.
"You're serious?"
"Yes Neku... I take it you don't eat sandwiches where you're from?"
"Well, yeah, just not daffodils."
"Just not- Okay, what do you eat then?"
"Well..." Neku pondered for a second. "Ramen."
"Ramen?"
Ring Ring Ring!
"I've got it..."
"If this is another prank caller-"
"Miss Sparkle, I need to talk to you in private. Now. Spike is out, right?"
"Y-Yeah. Diamond hunting with Rarity... again."
"Exactly, I'll explain everything once you got to my laboratory. Oh, and, bring Phones, alright?"
"Well, okay..."
"Good. Meet me here ASAP."
The line drops.
"Neku, we're going-"
"Yeah, I heard."
He slides in a bookmark, then puts the book down.
"Let's go."
Twilight knocks on the door, and Time Turner quickly grabs them both in, while looking around, then slamming the door.
"Turner, what's the emergency?"
"Okay, okay. Let's think back for a bit, shall we? Spike had been away a lot lately, right?"
Twilight nods.
"Well, out of all the ponies out there, he went to confront you with a problem with something even though you were sleeping. He could have easily have went out to the Mayor for a problem like this, right?"
Twilight nods again.
"And here's the big thing Twilight: You have an alarm clock."
Twilight's eyes widen.
"B-but.. Hold on, what?"
"Exactly, and let me remind you that anypony could have found Phones here, but why Spike?"
Twilight is taken aback.
"And one more thing: You wake up pretty early, even without your alarm clock, so why have you slept late on the day Spike had found Phones?"
"A coincidence?"
Time Turner shakes his head.
"There is no such thing."
"Where are you getting at?"
"This Spike is either not your Spike, is possessed by something, or is being tempted by someone. I've tested out each of these possibilities, and it seems... We have another dimension on our hands."
"What?"
"Two dimensions, in fact. One, a reflection of ours, with a whole different set of episodes far worse than ours. Another, the more interesting one, is filled with animals that walk on their hind legs, constantly wear clothing, and have fingers. Both can communicate with us."
"Hold on, a second... What are we supposed to do?"
"That's the thing, Twilight, you see... The other Equestria had another me, who had arrived here from the other dimension, who has a blue box that can travel through time and space!"
"Turner, you're insane. This has all been a lot of coincidences."
"Am I really, Phones?"
Neku starts to say something, but stops to listening to a whooshing sound. Like Time turner said, a blue box materializes itself into thin air. Another Twilight walks out, with a Pegasus.
"Get ready kids, because the Doctor is in. "
Only by allowing strangers in, we can find new ways to BE ourselves.

Beat, are we missing someone?
Naw, is' always bin the fo' o' us.
I know, I know, but it seems a little... empty.
Yea, I know wachu sayin', but hay, wut we s'possed to do?

Neku wobbled oddly to the library, luckily, he had a lot of experience of walking a lot.
"About time you got here."
"I'm not used to walking on four feet."
"Whatever. Let's just try to get you back to wherever you were."
"That'd be nice."
...
"Neku."
"What?"
"Why are you so like that? Is it something I said?"
...Now I feel like crap... Wait. This seems familiar...
"Neku?"
Everything is blurring out...
"Neku?"
Grr...
"Ne...ku..."
"...and then he passed out!"
"Well, now what do we do?"
"Get him to bed of course."
"Alright, I guess."
This dream... This again...
It seems so real...
"Hello."
"Who're you? Do I know you? Why do you look so familiar?"
"I should be asking you the same thing."
"I'm Shiki!"
"Who..."
Neku wakes up and stretches.
"Where?"
"The library. You passed out."
"I don't remember..."
"Well, whatever. I honestly can't be your caretaker from now on."
"So what do I do now? Sleep on the streets?"
"No, we're first going to Time Turner."
"Hold on, why should I be going anywhere you tell me to go? I mean, I'm grateful for helping me out, but..."
"Neku, if you want to repay me, then you'll do me this favor."
"Hmph."
Sigh...
Twilight and Neku have made it to Time Turner's laboratory. They engage in conversation, and the more Neku explains, the less sense things make.
"So you say you're not from here?"
"...Something like that."
"Do you remember anything at all?"
"No, just a face, my name, and English.
"A face? Tell me more."
Neku explains her to Time Turner: how she looks, her name, and how she seems so familiar.
"What's that?"
"A sonic screwdriver."
Snort.
"Nothing important. And why do you wear these all the time? It's rude, you know."
Deja Vu.
"Well, nevermind that. Off you go, 'phones!"
Phones...? Phones!
"Mr. H?!"
"Hmm? I don't know any Mr. H."
"Oh. Okay..."
I saw him again, Joshua.
Just stop thinking about him.
Joshua, who is he?
