Felix bolted.
"Hey!" Twilight yelled after him. She gave chase.
It would have been awesome. Felix knew and loved the ponies. But with the main character of the show chasing him wanting to do something he couldn't even begin to imagine, he was less thrilled than he had initally expected. He had to find a way to escape. But that shouldn't have been too hard. It was only one pony. Felix barely had time to register that there was a fence in his way before he jumped it.
A fence?
The only fence he knew of outside of ponyville was the fence to sweet apple acres.
I hope Applejack took the day off! Felix quickly considered as he wasn't sure what the chances of escaping two of his favourite characters was.
Felix's day went from bad to worse almost instantly.
As he ran down the line of trees, he noticed Applejack and Rainbow dash there. It wasn't that hard to see him. And it must have been an open invitation with Twilight chasing him. He knew for sure that that practically screamed "Adventure!" for Rainbow dash. Everyone gave chase. Felix barely had time to think as the group chased him into the large plantation of apple trees.
Felix's twisting and turning between the trees was surely the only thing stopping his from being taken down instantly. His invisible strafing and zigzagging through the field left the girls bewildered. He was positive this was an easy escape. He leaped the fence on the far side of the plantation. He quickly hid behind some rocks lining the shore of a brook cutting its way through the open meadow. Felix noticed Rainbow flying around above the trees, looking disappointed. He knew that if he was spotted now that he wouldn't be able to avoid them. Felix ran to the river. He waded through the shallows before the Multicolored pegasus even knew he was there. Felix continued to sprint into the trees beyond.
As he finally settled down to rest, He considered what to do next.
I need to talk to the princesses. It's the only way. But how? Felix knew he had only one option.
He had to go to Canterlot, the infamous city of unicorns.
As Felix stood, he felt the warm spring breeze on his face. He felt that his adventure had truly began.
