Stuck as a Filly

Do you believe in magic, in a young Filly's heart

"Come on Rain, its easy just try a little bit harder, focus!" Twilight said. The train's engine let of an annoying, repetitive sound that distracted me and made it awfully hard to levitate the book that was laying in front of me. My horn glowed with a dim green aura but my face was quickly losing color.

"This.... is... Impossible" I said, struggling to produce the words in my mouth as my magic was slowly failing me. Twilight has been prying at me for the past couple days for me to study my magic. "Its now or

never it only going to get harder as you age" she would always say. your a unicorn and you run in a family of ponies with very powerful magical abilities, this should be easy for you.

"come on this time it was hardly off the table" Twilight says while juggling several books over her head. She's been getting awfully cocky the past few days. I think its to give me some determination or something.

"Hey, give me a break! this stupid train is distracting me."Twilight and I turned to look out the window to a slowly approaching Canterlot

"Well I suppose we can practice more once we get to Canterlot. we are probably staying there for about two or three days so I suppose I can take you around Canterlot, get some apprentice magic books while we're at it" Twilight Said.

"Ugh, books." I mumble. honestly, When I was human I loved reading and writing and making short stories about creatures ending up in other planets they don't belong in. kinda ironic if you ask me. Now I find it difficult to read the simplest of words.

The train slowly began to pull up to the station giving me one last gut wrenching screech for good luck.

I slid off the bench and hit the floor kinda hard.

I forgot how short is was~

The Station was flooded with ponies of all sorts of classes from the highest of noses to the lowest.

I found that In Canterlot you can simply tell how "rich" a pony was by seeing how high they perked their noses.

I thought there were a lot of "high noses" in the station, boy was I wrong.Outside the station there were dozens of ponies scattered about the street. Most of them were wearing some article of clothing from fancy hats to winter coats,

"Welcome to Canterlot" I said, reading the billboard above the station. I poked twilight in the cutiemark and made raising motions indicating I wanted to be picked up. As degrading as it is to be on her back, I don't like snow, that's my excuse. Its cold and shiny and I always end up drowning in it.

Not to mention the streets are flooded with ponies, I'm gonna get lost.  Even as a human I never trusted myself in large places like this, or on buses or trains. I was always afraid I would get lost or fall asleep and wake up someplace I don't know.Twilight scooped me up with her magic and place me on her back.

"Ya know rain, there's gonna be a point in time when your gonna have to learn to walk on your own, right?"She couldn't see me but I was blushing.

"I thought you liked carrying me around, you said its cute. Besides, In a city like this i'm gonna get lost or suffocate in the mass of ponies" I said.

"Please, it only busy because of Hearths warming eve. I lived here for most of my foalhood and I would never get lost. I know my way around everywhere." Twilight protested

"Well, I was born here but I was raised in Ponyville. I know my way around there, just not here. Besides, I see other ponies with fillies and colts on their back" I replied, pointing to two ponies by a toy shop window. one was brown coated mare with a silver colored colt on her back.

"That colt is practically still in diapers! and that's probably his mom too" she protested. I turn to the colt that was now sucking on its hoof.

'Fine, you win" I say sliding off Twilight's back and into the snow.I squeak a little when a shock of cold runs down my spine as the snow beneath me lightly brisks by stomach. I jump and cling onto Twilight again.

"Ok, Rain. this is getting annoying I know what you need"Twilight picks me up again and heads to a nearby store.

"Here put these on" Twilight says, dropping several articles of clothing in front of me and shoving me into a changing room.

"Ok, I'm in here what about the-" Before I could even finish I was assaulted by a barrage of boots,

scarves and wooly saddles and hats. "Clothes.." I end off with.I begin with the boots, slipping them on with ease I immediately feel warmer. My back hooves showed a little more resistance when putting them on, however. Once all the boots were on I proceeded with the hat.

There was a rule for hats with unicorns. Apparently a horn becomes very hot very fast when using magic so you are not to use magic while wearing things on your head, you know, In case of fire. There are now pieces of clothing with holes in them for unicorns to wear so their horn can expel the heat its producing and not catch you on fire.

I slid the hat on to my head. It was difficult to firmly equipt because of the lack of grip in my hooves. I set it so its just above my horn, now that I can use magic anyways.Now here I am with the last article of clothing. Probably the most troublesome of all the pieces... The dreaded SADDLE

I stared at it for a moment, its stares back. I examine it up and down. it was a normal winter saddle. with wool on the inside and green leather on the outside to perfectly match my mane color. on the side its said "Canterlot Official" This is a child's pair. its not like the saddles in Rarity's back room.

I know what saddles are meant for back on earth but they seem to serve a totally different purpose in Equestria. Saddles here are like this are like a girls first training bra except these are worn only in the winter and special occasions as to all the time. As for the saddles on earth, well. They're meant to serve as riding seats for humans to make it more comfortable. God, this is degrading.

"Are you done yet?" Twilight whined.

"N-no, I may need help on this last one."  I sheepishly reply

Without warning she enters the stall which made me  jump and hide parts of my body, not that they were exposed anyways. "Hey, I'm changing!" I shouted.

"So what? were sisters, I'm sure I've seen you naked more times than you have yourself." twilight said.

"How is that even possi-"

"Besides, what's naked? we hardly wear clothes anyways." Twilight continued

I couldn't protest with that logic. She was right, I haven't worn any piece of clothing since I ended up here.

I miss home. I started to feel hopeless feel like I was going to be stuck like this forever.

Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing. I mean, how much people get to relive almost their ENTIRE lives back to childhood. This is a world of peace. no war, not killing, Hardly any profanity. Its scary at some points but that's only a passing phase.

I have a super smarty sister and a strong big brother. I'm almost best friends with spike, a dragon how many people can say they know a dragon? I have a three club members who would do just about anything to keep me in their silly adventures. Two parents I have yet to meet and apparently some alicorn princess who is my "sister in law."Maybe This Isn't as bad as I think it is.But then again, What Applejack said. “That's because twilight doesn't have a lil' sister.”

That wasn't a mistake, she didn't hesitate to correct herself or anything. That the straight out truth.

Something Fishy is going on here and I need to find out what.

Once I was fully set up for anything winter threw at me we were finally out into the city again.

The streets have settled down within the time we were gone making it much easier for me to get around.

It was difficult to keep up with twilight as we were both very late to our destination."Hurry up" Twilight snapped.

"Whats the rush?" I replied.

"We need to get to mom and dad before my our brother does."

"W-....why" I pant.

"Because I always get to places before he does. That's how it its. If he actually got to somewhere before mehe would never let me live it down." She said

"Really..." I mumble. I knew Twilight over exaggerated a lot but this is ridiculous.

"Do we really need to rush I'm tired' I complain.

"It doesn't matter we're already here" Twilight said.

I look up to see a white stallion with a blue mane standing in front of the door with the most cockiest grin i have ever seen in Equestria.

"You're late" he said

"I know, but I had to get the young one some proper attire for the winter because she was being a pain about the snow." Twilight said turning to me looking kind of disappointed. I blushed a little. I guess I was kinda acting like a child back there, Much younger than what I have been turned into.

"Anyways, lets get inside. Its awfully drafty out here." Armor said.And with that we started inside. As I walk past Shiny (Lets call him that for now) He scoops me up swirls me around and nuggie.

"Hey hey stop that!" I cry.

"I heard you've been giving Twily a hard time." He whispers in my ear.

"Yes, yes, I'm sorry I'm sorry. Uncle Uncle!" I cry out all sorts of mercy terms but none of them would stop the torture that was being inflicted on me.

"I'm not your uncle" Shiny says, finally stopping.

"Oh, ok. Then what are you?" I reply jokingly he looks at twilight who is on the floor laughing at my suffering at this point.

"What am I? I'm your brother that's what!" He sets me down beside twilight who has now stoped laughing and is giving him a look of curiosity as to what he's about to do.He then begins to tickle both of us relentlessly.

"Hey, hey! stop it I'm ticklish hey!" Twilight and I cried out. Never in my life did I feel so much like a child. And you know what? I liked it. I liked being irresponsible, I like how everyone always makes daww noises when they see me, And how I can do just about anything I want and get away with it. I'm cute and little and I actually enjoy my new life. I'll be sure that once I find out why everyone's faking this I can ask to stay this way for a little longer.Or on the other hoof.

If they figure out that I know, who knows how this will turn out? will the truth be heavy or perhaps light or will it change my relationship with twilight and everyone else. Maybe its best if I don't know the truth.

Anyways me and twilight were being tickled. That's when the unexpected happened. As he was tickling me my horn began to glow. This time it was actually glowing just like any other unicorn mine was a shade of lime green.Twilight noticed this but shiny didn't. I felt my body become lighter and start to fade in lime. I felt like I passed out for half a second for when I opened my eyes I was across the room, on the floor.

"Wh-what happened" I said. I felt sick. I guess first time teleportation will do that to you.Twilight came to me, a wide, proud grin on her face.

"Well I don't know how you pulled off something so advanced as Teleportation before levitation but i'm still proud of you.I did feel really proud, honestly. Getting a "I'm proud of you" from twilight is close to impossible.

"It was probably a one time thing." I claim modestly.

"Oh but it wasn't" a voice from up the stairs said. Twilight, shiny and I look to the stairs to find two other unicorn The Mare Unicorn was a dull pinkish purple and the other Stallion was a blue unicorn. They will soon be known as mom and dad respectively.

"I'm proud of you, Sweetie" Mom said.

"So am I" Dad added

"I don't think it means much saying but i'm proud of you as well" Shiny admitted

"Wow, thanks guys this means a lot to me to hear that." I say

" I- i- I love you guys" I finally blurt out.I don't know why I said that or what will happen from here on but I know my life is not going to be the same after today
