Applebloom has been a quiet, peaceful kind of pony. Basically she's been nice, she's been kind, and a little obsessive over getting her cutie mark, not to mention a little careless. Otherwise, she's a good little filly. It's just that she's a bit curious at times…One day Applebloom goes with Twilight into the Everfree and follows a pony into the forest and gets lost. She finds a little town there where everyone, suspiciously, has no cutie mark. It's all nice there, until she finds the sun gone revealing that little town as a monstrous place filled with zombie folks who want to take in Applebloom forever. It's just that she falls in some mud and gets kidnapped by zombies, that's all. She wakes up in the world, only it's just as happy and bright as it used to be, only she can't leave. And what had happened was not a dream…

Now she has to adapt to her supposed new home, whether the sun rises and sun sets, as one of the Blanks.
