Big Macintosh's best day ever

A few weeks have past since the incident and Macintosh's head had healed. The morning felt like a normal morning to the tall muscular stallion who came out of his room beaming about his bandages finally being off after so long. He really despised the itchy head bandages. He slowly walked into the kitchen where Granny Smith was baking her famous home made apple pie she always makes. Granny Smith turned around and saw Macintosh saying "Mornin' Macintosh dear could ya possibly got to Ponyville and get some groceries please." "Why certainly Granny, where is the list?" his deep booming voice exclaimed. "On the counter dear." The old mare said as she continued to check her pies that were cooking.

Macintosh left and headed towards Ponyville which was about a twenty minute walk. Thirty minutes after Applejack got out of bed shaking the last of her sleep to find Applebloom staring at her sister. "What are you doing?!" Apple jack said still half asleep. "Macintosh went to Ponyville to get somethins' for Granny Smith." "Now ah can't play with anyone till he comes back, so ah thought you could play with me" Applebloom said smiling and anxious at the same time. "Well if Macintosh is in Ponyville ah guess it wo....WHAT?!!!" Applejack Quickly ran towards the kitchen. "Granny Smith are you CRAZY?!" "There is a chance that he could remember Caramel" Applejack said as she galloped out the door. Granny Smith looked surprised at the words she heard.

Macintosh finally arrived at the Ponyville market and saw all the items bringing a flash back to his head. He remembered bringing the apple cart all the time and for some reason hanging around with another pony all the time but the figures shape and color was still a blur and he couldn't even remember the name of the pony. Then out of nowhere he hears his name. "Macintosh! hey Macintosh its me Caramel!!" Caramel galloped towards the stallion he loved when suddenly he felt a wild kick to the abdomen. "Stay away from me." "Ah don't know you and my family believes your a bad influence." Macintosh said in a hateful tone. "That's right brother" Applejack said almost out of breath."He doesn't like you and he never will." Caramel hearing this looked at Macintosh and said "Is that true Macintosh?" "You don't remember do you?" Macintosh looked down and said "Nnnope" "Ah had a concussion but mah family and friends helped me remember." Caramel surprisingly said "Did they tell you everything?" Applejack blurted out quickly interrupting Caramel "Everything that was important Big Mac!" "Don't listen to this bad influence." Caramel continued "They didn't tell you did they."

Big Macintosh looked skeptically at the colt remembering what his family said about him being a bad influence, but it had troubled him that he seemed to know something that his family didn't tell him. Applejack trying to keep Caramel as far as she could away from Macintosh said to Caramel "For once he has had a normal few days and has a girlfriend and you want to try and ruin that. Caramel said out of hatred of what he heard "I can't believe you would try to change him so he would fit your demands." "suddenly Macintosh moved his sister aside saying "What are you talking about?" The Small stallion said finally "They never told you that you are a colt cuddler!" Macintosh in disbelief said "Ah ain't a colt cuddler ah like mares." suddenly he had obtained a headache from the words this stallion was saying to him. "That's right Big Mac" he shouted "Get a headache and remember what you are; what we ARE!!" Applejack kicked him in the mouth breaking the small stallions jaw trying to save her brothers mind from corruption.

Big Mac looked at the stallion and his heart leaped out of his chest. Macintosh pushed his sister without thinking and went to the poor stallions side. "Caramel are you alright?" Suddenly Caramel noticed that Macintosh was nuzzling him. "Mac? You r-remember?" Mac looked into the stallions eyes and caressed the young stallions mane."Ah'm sorry ah couldnt remember Caramel... Ah ain't felt like mahself and it took you for me ta realize that. Please forgive me." Realizing it was difficult for the stallion to talk Macintosh picked the stallion up and gently shifted him on his back. "MAC!! You realize your going against the family don't ya!! Applejack Shouted to her brother. "AJ ah don't care and ah cain't believe you would keep me away from mah true love!!! Go Buck yourself and leave me be!!!!!"

Finally arriving at the hospital Mac laid the poor stallion on the doctors table and waited in the waiting room. "Macintosh Caramel would like to see you now!" The nursed chimed with happiness for her job. "Thank ya maam!"mac said nodding his head while walking through the doors to the recovery room. "Caramel! are you feeling better sweet heart? Oh right ya cant talk...Instead ill do this!" Mac kissed the stallion on the cheek and licked him softly while caressing the stallions mane. "Ah missed ya Caramel i really did." He finally helped the stallion up and walked to the check out area. "Well im gonna stay with you Caramel at least until i can find me a home im sure mah families changed the locks by now." Caramel gently nuzzled Mac to show he cared and it was fine. Macintosh kissed his cheek as they headed home nuzzling each other every now and then.
