Twilight's Point of View

I stared at Celestia and then at Mathew's body which wasn't moving "you killed him!" I half yelled at Celestia "You said you wouldn't kill him!?!?!?" I say exasperated.

"Twilight, he's not dead look closer. He breathes, but he could die during the transformation. So keep an eye on him." Celestia says to me.

Mathew's POV

I open my eyes to find that all is blurry. "Morning sleepyhead. I was expecting you to wake up a few hours ago when the transformation ended." I hear twilight say as my eyesight clears up.

"Transformation! What transformation?" I ask confused and a little scared.

"Look I really don't want to explain this so here's a mirror" Twilight says as she uses her magic to float a huge mirror over.

"AHH!" I yell as i see the large red alicorn in the mirror who had black feathers at the edge of his wings mane looks like frozen fire.

"Oh goddesses, Oh goddesses." I say to myself feeling like this was a bad thing knowing that all of the MLP:FIM sites that I have been to have the meme "Alicorn is not a option".

"Mathew? Mathew. Mathew!" Twilight yells at me. Snapping me out of my trance.

"Thank you I needed that." I tell twilight. I look at myself in the mirror again and see that my hair is now more like liquid fire flowing from my head and tail.

"Is My hair supposed to do that?" I ask twilight.

"Yes as far as I know all alicorns manes are supposed to do that." She answers "Also maybe I should explain who Falkeron is."

"Yes, that would be helpful." I tell Twilight.

"Well Falkeron was a evil alicorn who represented ice, water, and Steam. He tried to enslave all the ponies Pegasi, Unicorns, and earth ponies alike. In a great war between Falkeron and the alicorns was he defeated leaving only Princess Celestia and Princess Luna as the last remaining alicorns to defeat Falkeron. But the princesses were too weak and went into hiding. For 300 years Falkeron ruled until the two princess found the elements of harmony to defeat Falkeron and banish him into Black lake within a far away valley Where nothing lives or grows in fear of falkeron's escape." says Twilight finishing her explanation. "I also must tell you one more thing Mathew. You are the elements of fire, lava, and heat. That is proven by your mane, your mane reflects your emotion when you freaked out your mane froze into solid fire, when you are calm it flows like liquid fire that is why your our only hope." Finishes twilight.

At This point Twilight starts to talk about exploring ponyville, but I'm trying to get a better look at my teeth.

"BUCK!" I yell when I see my teeth which haven't changed, except to fit the mouth.

"What happened!?" asks Twilight surprised at my sudden outburst.

"It's my teeth there still sharp." I say letting out a unhappy sigh.

"Oh no." twilight whispers letting out a sigh.

"Oh no what?" I ask her.

"The transformation was supposed to fix that." She answers.

"Well it didn't. So what am I supposed to eat because I don't even like meat, and I can't chew vegetables and fruit without choking." I say as Spike walks in with some gems.

"Mathew we have a backup plan because we thought the spell would fix that and we don't want you to eat meat so Spike brought us some gems to test if you can eat them." Twilight tells me with what  sounds like fear and curiosity. As Spike hands me a small emerald about the size of a grape.

"Well it's worth a shot." I say as I pop the emerald in my mouth. I Bite down upon the emerald to find that is easily chewable and tastes a little like kiwi but sweeter.

"So, is it edible?" Twilight asks me.

"Surprisingly yes and it taste like a kiwi." I answer. Which causes Spike to groan.

"Now that we know what you can eat we need to teach you to fly and use magic if you are to fight Falkeron."  Says Twilight.

"Okay so how would a normal unicorn learn to cast spells and use magic?" I ask.

"Actually Rainbow Dash was gonna come over soon to check on you and see if your awake, so she can teach you to fly, but now its about time for bed" Twilight says. Which causes me to realize just how tired i was.

"Yeah I figured you'd be tired transforming in any way can be quite tiring, so I have some spare blankets and pillows for you." she says handing me some blankets and a pillow.

"Thanks." I say before I fall asleep.
