Crimson Bubbles Part One: Cheerilee PONYNAPPED

"She saw her true love go to waste, now she must make haste, here comes the crimson bubbles right before your pony eyes."

---A broken heart--

......As she walked through ponyville, flowers in her mouth, she hopped along happily, yet clumsily, for she was not like other ponies. Then she abruptly stopped dead in her tracks, a look of horror and anguish painting itself upon her face. There her special somepony stood, flowers in his mouth, with another pony. The flowers in her mouth slipped from their perch, then her look of anguish and horror twisted into seething rage, agony, and revenge. She knew that she-pony had to go, if she couldn't have her special somepony then nopony would.......

One Month and a half Earlier...

"Watch it! You feather brain!"

Crashing into her was a rainbow maned Pegasus, they both fell over, she heard the groaning of the rainbow maned Pegasus as she rolled off of her. "Oops! Sorry Rainbow Dash!"

"Watch where you walk, for Celestia's sake, Derpy!" Rainbow Dash said shaking herself ridding herself of the dirt from her mane. "Somepony like me could get hurt! I need to keep in mint condition for the Wonder Bolt tryouts this Friday! It's going to be so awesome!" Rainbow Dash said letting out a small fan girl squeal.

"Sorry." Derpy mumbled, her eyes walled out as usual.

"Heh, that's okay Derpy! It isn't your fault after all that you cannot see right, those derpy eyes of yours must totally be annoying, anyways...gotta dash!" Rainbow Dash said before flapping her wings and jumping into the air rocketing off at the speed of sound.

"What's wrong with my eyes?" Derpy whispered to herself sitting down on the paved dirt road she had been trotting on.

"Pardon me!"

Derpy turned around to spy none other than Rarity the unicorn, who was using unicorn magic to hold up some bags. "Sorry, Rarity!"

"That is quite alright Derpy, now could you move a little bit to the left, dear? You are kind of in the way, and as you know a fashion diva like myself needs to get back to work!' Rarity used her hoof to shoo Derpy out of the way. "Derpy you might want to keep walking, or at least get out of the way, you are in everypony's way!" The white unicorn trotted off leaving a distraught Derpy to her sorrows.

"Does everypony really think I'm only in the way?" Derpy mumbled, feeling rather down hearted by this point. "Maybe they are right? Maybe there is something wrong with me!" Worry gripped her heart like a vice. "Hey! I know! Twilight Sparkle is a smart pony! Maybe she could use her magic to get rid of the problems with my eyes?" With a new found resolve she hauled herself to her hooves and took off into the air, heading for Twilight Sparkle's Library. The gray pony slipped into the Library and trotted over to where Twilight Sparkle was hovering over a scroll, using her unicorn magic to write something with a quill. "Twilight Sparkle!" Derpy called over to the purple coated unicorn.

"Oh, hey Derpy!" Twilight said, not looking away from her scroll. "Look, Derpy, the Library is closed, did you not see the sign?"

Derpy looked perplexed and her gaze flickered over to the window of Twilight's Library, she saw the sign in the window and a small blush appeared on her. "Sorry I didn't notice it because..."

"Because of your wall eyes? I understand! It isn't your fault, nopony should have to be wall eyed, it is a dreadful and such a shame that you are! Too bad I don't have any spell to fix that! Maybe you should see a doctor? Maybe a doctor will know what to do? I may be great at unicorn magic but I'm no eye surgeon, that's for sure." Twilight said, turning to look at Derpy, she blinked her eyes as she saw the crestfallen face of Derpy. "You okay?" She asked, abandoning her scroll for a few moments and walking over to the saddened wall eyed pony.

"Why does EVERYPONY keep calling me wall eyed?! I can't help it!" Derpy didn't wait for an answer, she turned tail and bolted from the Library leaving a rather confused Twilight Sparkle standing at the door way watching her vanish down the road.

Derpy didn't stop until she was forced to a stop by crashing straight into a tree, she fell flat on her back, she realized that she had took refuge at Sweet Apple Acers. The wall eyed Pegasus struggled to her hoofs and shook herself off, only to hear very familiar voices. Her ears perked up as she realized it was Rainbow Dash and Applejack, they were sitting a few yards a way having a picnic, along with Pinkie Pie. Derpy heard laughter ringing from the three ponies. Derpy watched from the safety of the trees, listening to what they were saying, she knew spying wasn't the most polite idea but she wanted to hear what they were saying.

"Who wants cupcakes?!" Pinkie said excitedly bouncing up and down before grabbing the cupcakes out of the picnic basket, she placed the cupcakes out in front of them.

Rainbow Dash's eyes went wide and she blinked and said suddenly," World.... getting..... dark!" With that the rainbow maned Pegasus fainted.

Applejack narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "No thank yeh Pinkie! I'll pass!"

"Okey dokey lokey! More for ME!" With that, Pinkie took the whole plate of cupcakes and wolfed them down in one big gulp.

Rainbow Dash had woken up to the horrible sight and her blue coat suddenly took on a hint of white. "Pinkie Pie you animal!" She mumbled and sat up. She was quite nervous so she thought she'd lighten the tension with conversation. She could remember two things that happened today that were hilarious. "Hey you guys know that wall eyed Pegasus pony right?"

Pinkie Pie had just taken out more cupcakes from the picnic basket and was about to stuff one into her mouth, she opened one eye and lowered the cupcake away from her mouth. "Who? Oh!!! I love guessing games! Uhm....don't tell me...uhm uhm..." Pinkie Pie discarded the cupcake and put it back on the plate and stood up dancing and bouncing all around the picnic blanket. "Oh! OH! I KNOW! Derpy right?"

"That's the one!" Rainbow Dash said, inwardly sighing with relief that Pinkie Pie discarded the horrid creation that is known as the cupcake.

"What 'bout her, Rainbow?" Applejack asked of the rainbow maned Pegasus.

"I ran into her today and remembered something funny that happened to her yesterday! Okay so get this, so I was up clearing the clouds and then who should I see but Derpy walking along! I saw that banana peel from five miles away, and, well I guess I can't blame her, it's those darned derped up eyes of hers that is causing her all this trouble. Anyways, so she walked right onto the banana peel and flipped right over on to her back!" Rainbow Dash was in tears and laughing when she finished, lying on her back now.

Applejack and Pinkie Pie both doubled over in laughter, holding their stomachs. Little did the three unsuspecting ponies know, however, was that Derpy was hiding amongst the trees. Listening to the whole story.

Derpy's eyes went wide and walled out in their sockets. She sunk to the ground and covered her ears feeling ashamed. ' Everypony hates me! Is there nopony in Ponyville, no in Equestria even, that loves me?' Thought the crying Pegasus.

"Uhm...." Came a gentle voice, "Derpy? Are you...uh... okay?" A yellow hoof was gingerly placed upon Derpy's shoulder. It turns out to be none other than everypony's favorite shy pony, Fluttershy!

Derpy jumps up abruptly and wails out, straining her lungs," WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?! ARE YOU LIKE THE OTHERS?!?!" Her derped up eyes were spinning in their sockets as she gave Fluttershy a crazed, almost feral look. "ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE FUN OF ME TOO!? HUH?!?! HUH?!?!" She spat out, shoving her face into Fluttershy's until they were touching noses.

"EEP!" Was all Fluttershy managed to squeak out, before Derpy shoved past her and stormed off. Fluttershy stared in the direction that Derpy took flight in, before she heard the voice of Applejack.

"Yeh, but y'all know that everypony loves Derpy! She's a mighty great riot! Whenever I'm feelin' down 'bout myself and everythin' I just go and see what Derpy's up ta and then I feel much better when I see her doin' somethin' funny--" Suddenly Applejack stopped talking as she heard the squeak of Fluttershy coming from just inside the shelter of the trees. "Fluttershy? Is that you?" Asked Applejack before jumping to her hoofs and trotting over to the trees.

"Y-Y-Yes..." Fluttershy said before flying down to meet her friend.

"Yeah, I'd know that squeakin' from anywhere!" Applejack said smiling. "What's got y'all spooked anyways?"

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash had followed along after hearing Fluttershy's squeak. "Yeah what's up Fluttershy? Oh, did you see a monster?!" Pinkie Pie's eyes were wide as she quickly looked around, her eyes rounded like the moon. "Okay no monsters here!" The pink pony said smiling a mile wide.

"A-A-Actually no..uhm...you know that Pegasus pony...uhm Derpy? She was here just now, and she looked upset so uhm..I tried to ask what was wrong and then she started to howl something awful at me and then she rocketed off..." Fluttershy explained in a softer tone then usual.

"Derpy? Here?" Rainbow Dash said, quizzically tilting her head to one side.

"Y-Y-Yes..." Fluttershy nodded slowly, before she turned to look into the direction Derpy had fled too.

Later....

Derpy walked around, Ponyville, head down, as if a gray and angry storm cloud hung over her head. She continued to walk as the clouds in the sky were being pushed by Pegasus ponies to create a storm. Soon she was soaked with rain, her hair sopping wet as she trotted along the somewhat abandon streets. Most likely, everypony but her was out and about. She continued, head down, before running into somepony. She fell over on to her back and onto the dirt road. Her eyes now fluttered open, strange she couldn't remember closing them as she fell, she gazed up and before her stood none other than Doctor Whooves, who had a saddle umbrella.

"Oh my..." DR. Whooves said looking down at Derpy, whom was soaked. "Dear me, you simply must get out of this rain, you'll catch a cold!" Dr. Whooves shook his head, helping Derpy up.

Derpy felt her cheeks slightly grow hot as she was pulled up from the cold and soggy ground. "Oh...thanks..." This was defiantly new to her, finally somepony was kind to her!

Dr. Whooves smiled and then he took his umbrella saddle off and placed it upon Derpy's back. "There."

"What about you?" Derpy asked, quite shocked at this stranger's generosity.

"I'll be fine, it is only a short walk in the rain, now come on." Dr. Whooves said guiding Derpy towards a white building.

Finally out of the chilled rains, Derpy stood in a warm office, while Dr. Whooves went to fetch a towel. Derpy looked around the rather dim lit office, she saw a large desk, with a chair, and a stack of papers were perched on the corner of it. Suddenly the gray Pegasus felt slightly dizzy. She shook her head and felt an onslaught of a headache starting. Great, just great, just what she needed. Suddenly her skin slowly began to heat up, a blush formed on her face, then her world began to spin furiously, the heat of her skin flared and she stumbled on her hoofs only to trip and land on her side. Then darkness gripped her and then there was nothing but black.

"Oh! You are waking up! Good! Good!" A voice reached her from inside the dark place she was hidden in, Derpy slowly opened her eyes and stared up in wonder. She saw Dr. Whooves hovering over her, looking down at her.

"What happened?" Asked Derpy as she attempted to sit, the dizziness returning but not as bad as before.

"You fainted, a while ago actually, three days ago...almost four." Dr. Whooves explained, before gently pushing her back down. "You need to lie down, you still are a bit under the weather."

"What time is it?"

"Almost one in the morning."

"You've been awake for almost four days watching over me?" Derpy asked, her mouth standing slightly agape.

"In a matter of speaking, yes." Dr. Whooves said, a smile on his face, though anypony could clearly see he was dead tired. He looked as if he was about to fall flat on the floor and never get up.

"Why did you stay up? You could have slept.." Derpy said, her voice was groggy and quiet.

"Not when I have a patient that is burning up." Dr. Whooves told her. "How long were you out in the rain anyways?" He asked her seriously.

"Uh...an hour or so? I can't remember..." Derpy said honestly before rolling over on to her side. "Wait? So, I've been asleep for almost four days?"

"Yes." Dr. Whooves told her firmly. "You hungry?"
As if in response to Dr. Whooves, Derpy's stomach barked in hunger.

"I'll take that as a yes." Dr. Whooves said before trotting off. He came back with a daisy sandwich and offered it to Derpy.

Derpy sluggishly propped herself up and took the sandwich, from Dr. Whooves, and gulped it down quickly.

That was just the beginning of the action that set the insanity into motion.

........One month and a half later ..........

Derpy woke up one morning, inside her apartment. She was now taking up residence in Ponyville. She had moved down from Cloudsdale for two reasons, Dr. Whooves and she was working as his assistant. So she had to be close to the hospital of course. She could remember all the picnics and hang outs and all of the memories that they shared. Just like that one time when Rainbow Dash came in after she had fractured her left wing and Dr. Whooves finally trusted her to do something on her own. At first Rainbow Dash had protested, however it was a complete success after Derpy treated the fractured wing. Suddenly something occurred to her, the reason she was so excited before she went to bed. It was Hearts and Hooves Day! "OH BUBBLES!" Derpy cried. Jumping, she stumbled off of her bed and face planted upon the floor. Derpy jumped to her hoofs and gasped," I don't have anything to give Dr. Whooves!" Panicking, the gray Pegasus bolted out of her apartment and out into Ponyville, forgetting to brush her pale blond mane, in her haste. She rushed into the flower stored and quickly picked out some roses, daisies,

and tulips. Perfect for Hearts and Hooves Day, so she thought. She skipped out of the shop, in search of Dr. Whooves. This year he was going to be her special somepony...As she walked through ponyville, the flowers in her mouth, she hopped along happily, yet clumsily, for she was not like other ponies. Then she abruptly stopped dead in her tracks, a look of horror and anguish painting itself upon her face. There her special somepony stood, flowers in his mouth, with another pony. The flowers in her mouth slipped from their perch, then her look of anguish and horror twisted into seething rage, agony, and revenge. She knew that she-pony had to go, if she couldn't have her special somepony then nopony would. Yes, Cheerilee must go. Only Derpy could have Dr. Whooves....

Derpy's world...shattered. The tears rained down, just like the rain did the day Derpy first met Dr. Whooves.

A couple days later......

A note arrived at Cheerilee's door step. The dark reddish purple coated earth pony picked the letter up and took it to her table. She opened the letter and read it.

Dear Miss Cheerilee,
Meet me outside the Everfree Forest at sunset, for I have a "Surprise" for you. I'll be waiting for you, my special somepony.
Love forever and always, Dr. Whoovs.

Miss Cheerilee's pink hair with light pink stripes, flowed behind her like ribbons as she dashed about her home, giddy with this thought. ' Oh my Equestria, is he proposing to me?' She could hardly wait! Oh, she had to get ready and quickly! Thank Celestia it was a Saturday!

"Ohhh Dr. Whooves?!" Cheeilee's voice sang out, as she walked along. She stopped just on the edge of Everfree, her voice echoing through the trees around her.
Rustle...Rustle...Rustle

"Dr. Whooves?" Cheerilee said, " Is that you? Where are you hiding you silly stallion you, if this is a joke then--"

Suddenly out from the trees, something lunged. It dropped down onto Cheerliee's back and pinned her upon the ground. It forced Cheerilee to look up, then a cloth was shoved into her face. Cheerilee tried screaming but to no avail. The cloth was scented with something strange, it made Cheerilee feel woozy, as she tried to struggle but her kicks grew feeble as time grew on. Horrid images flashed through her mind as she remembered all those horror movies she watched about ponies being ponynapped by strangers like this! She didn't want her life to end like this, oh dear Celestia please somepony save her from this nightmare! Slowly she faded into unconsciousness.

2 days later

"Mmmnnh... mmh? MMMMM?? MMMMM!!!" Cheerilee had woken up in a dark place. There was only stone walls, no windows. She felt something on her mouth. It was duct tape. She started to panic and shriek with fear. Then a shadowy figure came upon her. "Oh, you're awake. Sorry about this." Cheerilee was too stunned to even move. The mysterious figure ran a hoof over her stomach and sides, making her shriek more. "It's okay," the mysterious figure said calmly, patting her stomach, then chest, then head. "I'm going to take care of you." Cheerilee started to whimper. Then the figure came over and removed the tape from her mouth. She started to gasp. Before her she saw Derpy Hooves, then the fear subsided and turned into laughter.

"Oh Derpy! I'm glad to see you!" Cheerilee had tears running down her cheeks, yet she was smiling. "I'm so glad Dr. Whooves sent you to save me! How'd you find me? What happened to the thing that ponynapped me, where are we any way......?" Cheerilee rambled on and on, yet Derpy said nothing, only smiled in a peculiar way. Cheerilee's voice faded and she looked up at Derpy, in confusion. "D-Derpy?"

"Poor, sweet, naive little teacher." Derpy shook her head as if disappointed, yet the eerie smile lingered upon her muzzle.

"W-What is going on?" Cheerilee asked, her voice losing the laughter it had before. A look of terror plastered itself onto her face.

"Aren't you just...dying...to know?" Derpy's voice rang out like a sickening lullaby. With that being said, she slipped away and returned with some tape in her mouth.

"Derpy what is---MHNNN!" Tape was slapped down onto Cheerliee's mouth before she could say anything more, then her arms were forced behind her back and taped. Then her legs were taped, now she lie down on the cold unforgiving floor. "MHHNNN!!!-----MHHNNNN!---" Her screams were too muffled. Sadly for Cheerilee nopony would hear her nor would anypony be coming to her rescue.

"Sorry, Cheerilee!" Derpy said, giggling as she went over and stroked Cheerliee's mane with a hoof, singing. "I have errands to attend to, I'll be back later!"

Cheerilee began to hyperventilate, as she struggled upon the ground like a fish flopping on a dock, gasping for air. The once strong Cheerilee broke down into hysterics. "MHNNN!!!!" She wailed, yet it was muffled from the tape so it came out more like a whimper of a dog.

"Now, now Miss Cheerilee, don't you go and cry yourself to death! The fun will begin when I get back!" Derpy cackled as she bent down and whispered into Cheerilee's ear, "I'm bringing some special guests..."

As Derpy left, Cheerilee's muffled howls and sobs were heard behind her.
