Crimson Bubbles Part One: The capturing of the Mane six

"Whoa! Calm down Dr. Whooves! What happened?!" Twilight Sparkle said as Dr. Whooves dashed about tearing through Ponyville like a hurricane.

Dr. Whooves came to a dead stop and looked over his shoulder and said," THIS!" He shoved a letter in Twilight Sparkle's face.

"What?" Twilight Sparkle said as she used her magic to hover the letter beside her and she read it. " So what exactly is the big hullabaloo about?"

"I NEVER WROTE THIS!" Dr. Whooves's voice cracked as the panic in his mind rattled about like the tail of a venomous rattlesnake.

"But...it is signed by you?" Twilight Sparkle pointed out.

"Not in my hoof writing though!" Dr. Whooves argued.

"Are you going to tell me what the big commotion is about? Or what?" Twilight pressed, wondering what in Equestria Dr. Whooves was being so worked up about.

"CHEERILEE IS MISSING!" Dr. Whooves blurted out, stamping his front hoofs on the ground." SO IS DERPY!" He shook his head, in panic. "What if something happened to them!? Derpy didn't come into work today either! What if both of them got taken by a monster of the Everfree Forest?"

"What's going on everypony?" Derpy appeared as if from nowhere.

"DERPY!" Dr. Whooves sighed in relief, running over to her. "What happened to you?!" He asked in worry, checking over the gray Pegasus pony for any signs of injury or sickness.

"I-I-I was at Fluttershy's house!" Derpy blurted out," She had an injured bird that broke its wings in several places. She couldn't handle it on her own and you know how Fluttershy is with her...animal friends...she couldn't find you so she asked me to come and fix him up. I stayed for two days making sure the bird would be alright and not pass away- or anything, You know how heart broken- she'd be."

"I'm glad that you are okay, but we still have to find Cheerilee." Dr. Whooves said.

"What?" Derpy said, suddenly, perhaps too suddenly.

"Cheerilee's been missing for two days." Twilight said, looking at Derpy. " The last known location of Cheerilee was by the Everfree Forest."

"MISSING?!?!" Derpy screamed and jumped behind Dr. Whooves and cowered as if terrified, oh how she would thank those acting classes she took in Cloudsdale Drama School long ago. She was pulling this off perfectly, perhaps a little too perfect. This was rich, amusing, she had to force the giggles to stay dormant within her.

"We should go and set up a search party, we should split up into two pairs each and go off in search of Cheerilee." Twilight said, " Dr. Whooves I need you to the Mayor and tell her what is going on this is a APA."

"APA?" Derpy asked.

"ALL PONY ALERT!" Twilight said looking towards Derpy.

"Can I come with you?" Derpy whimpered, her wall eyes shimmering with the fake tears she shed.

"Sure Derpy! You can come with me, just be careful, and watch your flying. Your eyes might give you some trouble." Twilight beckoned the crying Pegasus towards her.

Derpy used all her will to keep herself from lunging out at Twilight and snapping her neck in two in the process. She continued with the fake tears and followed after the purple unicorn. As soon as she and Twilight were out of sight from Ponyville and Twilight's back was turned, Derpy....smiled.

I don't know where I am, but I'm screaming with everything I've got. Why won't anypony hear me? Why won't somepony save me? Where in the wide world of Equestria am I any way? Well one thing is for sure, I know how I ended up here. It was all because of HER, that wall eyed pony. That...that Derpy Hooves. Why had Derpy ponynapped me? Me of all ponies? Why is she doing this to me? She seemed so nice and sweet, innocent even. What did I ever do to her to make her so upset at me that she would drag me down into this dark and dank place? These were the thoughts of our fair and frightened, poor little Miss Cheerilee, as she lie on the ice cold floor, her heart pounding. She could do nothing now. She had stopped screaming. Her vocal cords burning with overuse, all she could do was lie in stark horror as she waited for Derpy to return with the special guests she had mentioned. Cheerilee desperately let her gaze sweep across the seemingly void of the dungeon, trying to spot an exit, alas it was too dark. It was hopeless. Her muffled sobs bounced and echoed through the dungeon she was held captive in.

"This is where Cheerilee vanished." Twilight said looking down at the ground, seeing where a struggle had played out.

"I want to go home." Derpy whined, pressing herself up close to Twilight Sparkle's side.

"Oh Derpy, stop being such a fraidy pony..." Twilight said, however she gained no answer from Derpy.

"Derpy?" She said. She looked around and noticed the wall eyed Pegasus pony was no longer there. "Derpy?" She looked around, her gaze flickering this way and that as she tried to relocate Derpy. "Derpy? Are you there? Come on, it is okay, nothing is going to get us I promise---"

Twilight Sparkle would eat those words and regret them for the short time she had left in this world.

Pinkie Pie trotted along inside the flower shop, seeking out Cheerilee. "Hey!" She said to the manager," Has Cheerilee been here recently?"

"Yeah, on Hearts and Hooves Day she stopped by, picking up flowers for her special somepony." The manager said, handing off some flowers to a regular costumer. The regular costumer left the shop, leaving only Pinkie Pie and the manager alone.

"Have you seen her since then?"

"No...oh flower pots, I forgot I have to do something really quick. Hold on, I'll be right back!" The manager slipped away and into the back room.

"Okey dokey lokey!" Pinkie Pie said. Suddenly the sound of a shattering flower pot reached her ears. "Huh?" She turned around to see an open closet door. It was wide open, blackness inside. A broken flower pot lie next to it. "Ohhh...my detective senses are tingling! I should investigate!" Without a second thought, she bounced into the closet, being her Pinkie Pie self when, the door behind her slammed shut, with the sound of thunder rumbling across the shop. Pinkie's scream echoed only for a second before----
WHAM!

"ACK!"

Thump.

Applejack and Rarity ended up being together, for they bumped into each other a while ago. "Okay," Rarity sighed. "So we know that Cheerilee isn't by the Everfree Forest anymore. So where else is there to look?"

Applejack was thinking and observing. Then her face lit up. "Oh! I've got it!"

Rarity looked at her in confusion. "What?"

AJ turned to her then. "Let's look for her in Sweet Apple Acres. I done don't mean to sound creepy an' all, but I thank that it would be a darn great place for somepony to get ponynapped. I mayn, all of the trees. Think 'bout it. Once, Apple Bloom once got lost in there."

Rarity thought this over. Then she made up her mind. "Okay, let's begin our search there together." The two slapped high hoofs and continued on their way, proceeding to Sweet Apple Acres.

As the two made their way in, there was a rustling in the trees. "Hey, yah hear that?"
Rarity nodded.

Then AJ said, "Ya know what? It's probably justa bird. Maybe the one that we heard that Derpy and Fluttershy were taking care of."

"But Applejack, Fluttershy said that she never was with Derpy-- Ah!" Suddenly, Rarity was gone.

"Rarity!" AJ panicked. She turned and looked to see that Rarity was knocked unconscious and was being dragged behind one of the apple trees. She sped up to the Rarity's caper and was about to lunge for them when Applejack was hit in the ribs. "Oof!" was all that she could get out. The punch knocked the wind out of her. Then, she felt something prick her shoulder. "Uhn... R-r-arti-ty..." That's when the colors of the world began to bleed and mash together and then faded to black.

"Come on, Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash said, urging the terrified yellow Pegasus onward. "It's only the Ponyville School House! Nothing scary about it!" Rainbow Dash said, pushing Fluttershy with her front hoofs.

"B-B-But!" Fluttershy squeaked as she shivered, as the moon loomed down on them as if looking at them like one great huge eye in the sky. "It's dark in there!" She held her hoofs out and they caught on the frame of the school door.

"Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash growled out of her clenched teeth. With one last push the both of them went stumbling into the school house.

Fluttershy jumped up as Rainbow Dash landed on her tail. With a squeak of pure horror, she jumped up and blindly flew through the School House and hit a wall opposite from the door. She slumped down onto the floor and crawled underneath the teacher's desk.

Rainbow Dash struggled to her hoofs and shook herself, to rid herself of the dizzy feeling she had gained when falling. "Fluttershy?" She called out, not seeing where her pal had gotten too. She walked trough the wooden school, then suddenly the door smashed closed and the force sent a gusting wind through the school. Rainbow Dash heard the squeal of Fluttershy, this drowning out the sound of flapping wings coming towards her. Suddenly she was pushed into a dark corner and then she screamed. "NO PINKIE NO MORE CUPCAKES!"

SHIINNGGGKKK

The cowering Fluttershy gave out a cry that sounded like a wounded animal. She gulped in a warm breath of air, wait warm? Suddenly the scent of blood filled her nostrils. "Rainbow Dash?" She shivered as she lie on her stomach, slightly curled up. She did not dare to peek out from her refuge under the teacher's desk. For she was too fearful of what she might find. Suddenly the air chilled, Fluttershy felt somepony grab her ankles like a vice and yank her out from her hidey desk. Fluttershy gave out a blood piercing scream, yet it was silenced with the sound of a whizzing bat through the air. Nopony was around to hear it.

Cheerilee woke to a horrid sight. She saw Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy all leashed up in chains against the wall, with shock collars hanging from their necks. Each shock collar had a pendant in the shape of each of their cutie marks.

"I'm baaack!!!"

Cheerilee's heart almost jumped out of her chest. She was swooped up and smacked down on to a table, roughly. Cheerilee groaned irritably in response.

"Now...what to do with you? Mhn...." Derpy paced back and forth.

Cheerilee began shaking her head, and trying to speak but all that came out were a couple of muffled," MHHNNNS!"

"Oh..I know, don't worry...It will all be okay..." Derpy said, patting Cheerilee's stomach with a hoof, Cheerilee giving an uncomfortable moan, in response. Suddenly, Derpy hit a brilliant idea. One idea that would beat all murderous ideas that anypony that ever murdered ever had. Derpy walked over to a strange device and pressed a button. Several shocking noises were heard, as they came from the collars around the mane six.

"AHHH!" Twilight Sparkle and her friends wailed as they were jolted from their agonizing slumber. Twilight Sparkle panted as the shocking subsided, her mane frizzled and her coat dirty. She glanced around her, while her eyes where trying to adjust to the dim light. Suddenly, like a crash of thunder, she saw her friends in the same situation as she was. "What is going on?" Twilight mumbled.

"MHHNNN! MHHHMMm-MHHNN!"

"Huh?" Twilight rounded as she looked toward the noise. She saw Cheerilee taped up, struggling. "CHEERILEE!" Twilight ran towards her. Suddenly she was thrown back, landing flat on her flank. That was when she noticed the chains on her neck and the shock collar strapped around her. "Cheerilee, what is going on?" Twilight attempted to use her unicorn magic, to slip the tape off of Cheerilee's mouth, when she got a nasty surprise in the form of a rattling shock, galloping through her throat. She cried out and collapsed onto the floor, panting.

Cheerilee let out a muffled shriek and struggled against the tape that held her bind together.

"SHUT THE BUCK UP!"

Twilight Sparkle's eyes snapped open and she noticed some other pony standing next to Cheerilee. She had not noticed that pony there before. "DERPY?!"

"Oops, silly WALL EYED me! I've been caught! Red hoofed!" Derpy giggled in a frightening manner. "I wanted you all awake for this and don't dare to attempt flying or using magic to escape the automatic security I installed in the shock systems, for they will send powerful volt waves shuddering through you." She raised a hoof and flipped some bangs from Cheerilee's face. "No wonder Dr. Whooves loves you, you are so beautiful." Derpy stroked Cheerilee's mane, as if she were running a brush through it.

"Let her go, yeh no good buckin' pony!" Applejack said, trying to rush towards them but was thrown back like Twilight had been.

"What the hay? Derpy? What in the name of Equestria is going on? I thought you were nice?" Rainbow Dash gasped, as she struggled into a sit. Blood dribbling from her forehead down to her cheeks. She was way too worn out to attempt standing up, let alone trying to rescue Cheerilee from this mad pony before them.

"I've heard of some pretty dark jokes in my day, yet I know enough to know that this isn't a joke! We are in serious trouble!" Pinkie Pie's voice was strained and broken up, as if talking hurt.

"You all will pay." Derpy said her voice eerily quiet, merely above a whisper.

"Derpy, darling?" Rarity whispered in slight fear, not believing what she was seeing. "What ever is this all about?"

"Revenge." Derpy put it bluntly while giving Rarity a burning stare. She turned away, back to Cheerilee, ignoring the mane six's protest and the blubbering coming from Fluttershy. " I'm going to turn you into bubbles, my lovely." Derpy cooed and giggle psychotically, whilst she smiled eerily. She noticed that the tape that held Cheerilee was worn and tearing. "Mhnn.... Time to go get the nails.." She mumbled, trotting off and vanishing into the shadows.

"MHNNN!" Cheerilee began to trash upon the table, tears splashing around her. Suddenly she heard the tape ripping and she was free, she worked the tape off of her muzzle. She rolled off of the table landing, with a thud, on the hard floor upon her stomach. She jumped up, ignoring the dirt and other debris that clung to her. She rushed over to the mane six. "We've got to get out of here!" Her voice was drained and duller than a butter knife. She attempted to tug at Twilight Sparkle's shock collar, trying to rid the purple unicorn of the sinister device, only to have her plans thwarted with Derpy's return. Derpy let the nails and the hammer in her mouth drop, she lunged at Cheerilee with a feral howl.

"You aren't going any where!" Derpy pinned Cheerilee on to the stone floor and brought a hoof sailing down to Cheeliee's stomach, knocking the wind out of reddish purple Earth pony.

Cheerilee let out a wail of agony and spat up some blood, she struggled underneath Derpy's hold, yet she was too wakened to put up much of a fight.

Derpy easily smashed Cheerilee back onto the table and began with her sinister work. "Hold still now, Cheerilee, I'm a trained doctor! Trust me when I tell you that this will only hurt...a lot." With that Derpy hovered a nail over Cheerilee's right arm, she raised the hammer high into the air.

SLAM! SLAM! SLAM!

Cheerilee's blood splattered upon Derpy's face leaving it dotted with crimson droplets.
The mane six watched on, all of the pale as a ghost. Except for Rarity of course, she was the color white so it wasn't certain if she was much more pale. The six of them were close enough to huddle together and so they did as Derpy began to torture Cheerilee, they watched on. Their eyes glued to the uncouth scene, unable to pry away for they were frozen as if they were blocks of ice.

Cheerilee screeched and her body convulsed! She wailed as she felt Derpy hammer the gigantic nail into her right arm. She continued to wail as Derpy hammered another nail into her left arm.

Derpy hammered and hammered until there were three nails each, wedged inside Cheerilee's arms and legs. She relished at Cheerilee's screams and mocked her by screaming and fake crying. "Ohhh! No stop Derpy please, please stop!" Derpy mocked. "Well did you stop when you stole Dr. Whooves away from me? I don't think so!" She hammered again, this time with more force, just to make sure each nail would hold Cheerilee steady. Derpy slipped away only to come back with a jar she placed the jar besides the edge of the table, where a thin trail of Cheerilee's blood was slipping off of. The blood trickled into the jar, Derpy waited staring at it with an insane smile, watching the blood splash at the bottom. Watching with glee she whispered to Cheerilee," Innocence is a form of insanity." Said she, as she gained all the blood she needed. She placed the jar down on the stone ground, she then danced and pranced around Cheerilee, singing. "Innocence is a form of insanity, it eats your mind it eats your heart!" Derpy danced all around, careful as not to spill the jar of blood that was under the table. "This madness has only just begun to start!" She came to a halt and started humming to herself as she trotted off into the darkness. She returned with a knife in hoof, giggling as she approached Cheerilee.

"No! No! Don't stop! Please I beg of you! I'll do anything you want please don't hurt me anymore!" Cheerilee's voice was cracked and broken into sobs.

"It's far too late for that Miss Cheerilee!" Derpy hummed as she hovered the knife inches away from Cheerilee's eyes. She waved the knife back and forth, only inches from slicing Cheerilee's eyes out from their sockets. "Capturing you fools was as easy as Pinkie Pie!" The laughter of pure insanity slipped past Derpy's lips.

Pinkie Pie's eyes grew wide and she buried her face into Rainbow Dash's mane, with a whimper.

"Did I scare the poor little pony?" Derpy's voice drifted like ice across the dungeon, it echoed with malice. Derpy slid away from Cheerilee and over to Pinkie Pie and let out a dreamy sigh. "Oh, it is such a shame that I have to strip you of your lives." Derpy shook her head, making a 'task task, task' noise from her voice. The gray Pegasus pranced off and over to a table that held some wash clothes, she picked some up and rubbed her face with them. Ridding herself of Cheerilee's dotted blood. She then went back to Cheerilee and placed the knife upon her belly, smiling Derpy hummed a sweet tone to Cheerilee as if this were nothing but another day at work at the Hospital. She grazed the knife over Cheerilee making shallow cuts, she heard Cheerilee make a whimper noise that sounded a lot like sad giggles, Derpy finished with the shallow cutting, engraved within Cheerilee's skin was a incision in the shape of a heart. It started from Cheerilee's lower abdomen and stopped at her chest. "Aw, does that tickle? Well how about this?!" She asked plunging the knife a little deeper and engraving the words; ' Cheerilee and Dr. Whooves together forever.' Inside of the heart shape, she then dove the knife a little deeper and marked an 'x' through the words and the heart. She giggled at Cheerilee's screams of fright. "Well my little lovelies, I have a score to settle, I'll be back...soon." Derpy slipped off without a word, dropping the knife on the floor and scooping up the jar of Cheerilee's blood, leaving the mane six and Cheerilee to the suffocating fear of knowing they'd not make it out of there alive.
