A Promise I Didn't Follow

I looked for Pica and Thunderlane and saw them sitting on the bench. He has his hoof over her shoulder. He moved his face closer to Pica. I ran as fast as I could before he could lay a muzzle on her face. I quickly reached out my hoof at the middle of them. "Sorry Pica." I apologized to her.

"For what?" she asked me.

"I couldn't let you hang out with Thunderlane." I grabbed her hoof. "Let's just go home." she nodded.

"Can't you see we're in a middle of something?!" Thunderlane yelled.

I turned around "I don't think I can.".

"Lets see if you can see this." he punched me in the face. His punch left a mark on my face. "Looks like I left a present in your face." he laughed.

"More like a mistake." I gave him a fierce look in the eye. "So tell me is that all you've got?" I raised an eyebrow. "Lets see if you can handle this." I released a punch in his face. He backed away a bit as he received the punch.

"It's on." he positioned himself.

"Bring it." I licked my lips as I prepared for his attack. He pounced on me and pinned me down.

"Lets see if your face can handle more." he delivered a lot of punches on my face. "How does it feel." he raised an eyebrow.

"If you ask me quite fun." I gave him a headbutt. He fell to the ground "One head to the face and that's it?" I laughed at him. "Lets go home Pica." she nodded. As I offered Pica my hoof Thunderlane grabbed me and brought me to the air.

"Lets see how you do in heights." he's now really pissed. He let go of me as we reach 50 feet. "I'll be waiting for you below." he waved at me and dived down.

"Looks like this is it." I said to myself. As I passed 30 feet Rainbow Dash caught me.

"What's an earth pony doing at the skies?" she smiled at me.

"Enjoying the view." I said to her. "Can you do me a favor and throw me downwards toward Thunderlane." I requested. As we reach 15 feet she pushed me downward to gain more speed. As I saw Thunderlane at the ground I yelled "Hey Thunderlane looks like you kept your promise." I landed on Thunderlane which ended with a strong THUD. "Looks like you took all the impact." I said to Thunderlane as I tried to stand up. Thunderlane's face was a mess. I walked towards to Pica "Aren't we going home yet?" I smiled at her.

"Hey who's the mare?" Rainbow Dash asked as she landed.

"I told you I'll answer your questions at Twilight's home." I said to Rainbow Dash. As we head home I felt a sudden crack in my right arm. I fell on my shoulder as I scream in pain.

"What's wrong?" Pica and Rainbow Dash asked in unison.

"Looks like I landed my right arm on Thunderlane's face a little bit too hard." I chuckled.

"Oh yeah will Thunderlane be okay?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"He will be okay if I don't see him again." I tried to stand up.

"Here let me help you." Pica put my hoof over her shoulder. "I'm sorry Pico for causing you the trouble." she avoided my eyes.

"No need to be sorry." I smiled at her.

"Don't forget to answer our questions at Twilight's home." Rainbow Dash reminded me. I nodded as we walked to home.
