"So why do I need a blindfold again?" I asked Pica.
"So the surprise won't be spoiled." she tied the blindfold on me. "Okay, I want you to follow my voice." I nodded. "Just follow me, listen to my voice carefully." I followed her voice carefully so that there would be no accidents. "Just fol- wait stop Pico sto-." I felt a sudden bump in my muzzle. As I remove my blindfold on my eyes, I felt a sudden shock to see that my muzzle met Pica's muzzle. I backed away from her.
"Sorry I didn't mean to do it." I tried to put the blindfold back.
"That's okay I know you don't and you don't need to put your blindfold back we're already here." she removed my blindfold.
"So where's the surprise?" I saw a tree and a box of decorations at the middle of the room. "So you blindfolded me so that your surprise, the tree won't be spoiled?" I asked her and she answered with a simple nod. I also noticed that we were still inside the house (specifically at the library.).
"The main course is to help you decorate a Christmas tree." she smiled at me. "I was so excited when I read a book about Christmas and it says in the book that you have to decorate a tree with lots of light and put gifts on the bottom of the tree." she grabbed my hoof and brought me closer to the tree.
"Well that was unexpected." I sighed
"Were you expecting for something else? If you were we could do something else." she looked at me seductively.
"I choose the tree." I blushed a bit.
"I thought you were going to choose me." she frowned.
"Well you said we need to decorate a tree right?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Well yes but-." I cut of her words.
"No take backs." I picked up some decorations and start placing them on the tree. After we decorated the tree, we hanged some of the Christmas lights. "Well we're almost done the only thing missing is a star on top, I'll let you put the star since it's your first Christmas." I gave the star to Pica.
"Okay then can you help me out with the ladder?" she climbed up to the ladder while I was holding it so it would stay in place. "I almost got." she stood up on the tip of her hind hooves.
"Be caref-." I saw what is hidden under her raised tail.
"Done." she went down off the ladder. "Wow it's beautiful all we need now is to turn on the lights." she pressed the switch. "All done."
"Good job." she turned around and noticed that my nose was bleeding.
"What's with your nose?" she touched my bleeding nose.
"It just happens when you see a perfectly decorated Christmas tree." I gave her a smile.
"So now that the main course is done time for desert." she wiped the blood on my snout.
"What is it now?" I scratched my head with my hoof.
"Your gonna take me on a date." she grabbed my right hoof.
My face turned red "Can we just go on a simple walk?"
"Just do it for my first Christmas please?" she did a puppy eyes.
"Fine, just let me get my saddle." I went up to the room and grabbed my saddle and my 50 bits. As I went downstairs I saw her admiring the Christmas tree. I came closer to her "Beautiful isn't it?"
"I love this Christmas tree." I saw a tear fall down her eyes. "I just wish I could stay here for a longer time." she lowered down her head.
I sighed "Don't worry when Twilight comes back we can ask her to give make the spell last as long as you want." I wiped her tear. "Just forget about that besides I still have to go on a date with you but this doesn't mean anything got it?" I smiled at her.
"Why is this a date if it doesn't mean anything?" she chuckled a bit. As we went out of the door she kissed me on my muzzle.
"What's with the kiss again?" I scratched my head.
"Mistletoe." she pointed the mistletoe hanging on the door. She was holding on to my right hoof as we start her first date.
