Five years have passed since the Griffon and Pony war, peace has reigned over the region, for a moment. It has also been three years since the daughter of Spike and Twilight Sparkle was taken by an alien beast but all of their previous conflicts pale in comparison to the foes that will stand against them as an ancient and malevolent force returns to not only take away their daughter but to also raze the very world they live on with the assistance of six powerful and very dangerous foes, three of which have sordid pasts that involves them.
Now with the fate of Equis on the line as well as their daughter's can they, along with their closest friends, defeat this new creature or will an old family secret betray them all and turn their nation into ashes?
