Dragon Stateby VampDashChaptersThe dark one awakensOriginsThe letterHello TraitorThe Rise Of EclipseThe dark one awakensTrapped....that was the feeling the dark one felt ever since he was imprisoned, Tartarus the council had called it. How fitting of a name for such a dark place, which was the name of a different hell on a distant world he would raze soon enough. But for now he spends the rest of his days remembering the years leading to his imprisonment and when he was betrayed by his loyal brother whom he shall tear limb from limb when he is released from his chains. He suddenly regretted remembering his imprisonment when a sudden flashback occurred that dropped him off exactly one week before his accursed trial. It was several millennium ago before he was imprisoned, he remembers the hours leading to the fight: training with his little brother, Mar Grimm, to be next in line to take the title of Reaper from their wretched mother, a high ranking demon, in atonement for being born something that brought her disgrace, Tamriel felt this was ridiculous. Why do this when the council could have done it themselves? But no they had to send in her children to do this because they were bound by "The Law" to never interfere with other creatures other than their own soldiers. "I still call bullshit on this assignment brother, why us when they could just as easily do it themselves?" Mar complained for the hundredth time. So the creature had to explain the reason again. "Because little brother the council is forbidden to do certain things and taking another life is one of them." He had to use all of his will power to restrain from barfing when he said that ridiculous statement that even he had doubted at times. But just as quickly as it had started the memory vanished from the dark creature, now nothing more than a formless monster, who roared in his suffering. Why do the memories refuse to stay longer? It was dismissive at first but now it was starting to become annoying as he collected himself and decided to move on with his plans, the first was to summon a fallen beast of unequal strength which up until the griffon and pony war certain beings have avoided him, but now he has found two very powerful beings both of which will be of great help in his conquest. The first was the former dragon God Wrath and because of his "special" sin he was confided to a point almost with Tamriel himself but he decided to end the punishment a little early, after all he was a king down here. The second was a familiar shape that he soon recognized as his brother Dusk the Angel of War which meant one thing, Mar betrayed him as well and all this did was add a celestial being into his army though with a few modifications. The dark one has always hated the phoenix form of his youngest brother but a hydra on the other hand. As Wrath laid down he still remembered the tortures that befell him, the whips, the swords, and oh sweet Tartarus the vision of ponies and dragons living as one something that would cause all true dragons to shiver in horror. It disgusted him and as he allowed sleep to overtake him to which he failed to notice the fact that a dark orb encompassed him, the dragon God of Greed awoke just as the sphere was dissipating and noticed this was not the usual place for him to be tortured. “Why am I here?” He questioned out loud with a growl. "You are here to serve your master, the one who generously freed you, monster." A voice said as though it could read Wrath's thoughts and caused the drake to respond bitterly. "Well I apologize, master but I am not of the serving type, as it is more along the lines of you who I am to command." He finished his speech with a narrow of his eyes as he heard a sigh of disappointment coming from the black smoke that was all around him. "Such a pity and here I thought you wanted to get back at the traitor to all dragon kind. That wretched, pony lover of your species, Spike Sparkle, the Crystal Savior as I understand the Crystal Empire has dubbed him, though now I could see I was wro-" The dark voice was interrupted by Wrath's sudden outburst of rage. "YOU KNOW WHERE THAT WEAKLING IS? TELL ME SO THAT I MAY CRUSH HIM WITH MY BARE CLAWS!" The enraged dragon demanded and got a small chuckle in return. "Now, now Wrath, there is no need to raise your voice. Especially not at one who is significantly more powerful than you." "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE COMMANDING ME, THE GOD OF GREED?!" The dragon yelled and only got a deep chuckle in return before the smoke responded. "You are a God? Don't make me laugh, you are nothing more than a false idol which you simply try to throw onto others, I am a true God. The Lord of Darkness itself, you can never begin to comprehend my powers, don’t act so absurd." The shadows said and, unknown to Wrath, started to descend behind him. "Also, do remember that I am the true king of Tartarus, I am the one who freed you, reptile." The smoke calmly spoke to which Wrath responded in rage. "I AM YOUR MASTER, YOU ARROGANT WORM, YOU WILL NOT DEFY ME OR YOU WILL SUFFER THE LIKES OF WHICH ONE COULD NOT EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE!" As he yelled his last word he heard a strange sound and turned around. The smoke from before soon became the form of a male alicorn as tall as Celestia herself but unlike the Goddess of the Sun however he brimmed with hate and malice more than Wrath himself. But all Wrath did was laugh at the form the so-called king chose "A PONY? YOU CHOSE A PATHETIC LITTLE PONY AS YOUR FORM TO FACE ME!" the laughter was short lived as the alicorn used it's dark wings to impale Wrath onto a wall of smoke that suddenly mesmerized behind him, the razor sharp wings slicing into his stomach. How did that get here surely this creature isn't that powerful? The reptile thought to himself in shock, ignoring the pain the alicorn was trying to inflict on him. "Now Wrath, you are to do me a favor and QUIET YOUR SLANDEROUS TONGUE, or so help me, I’ll tear it from your scaled lips!" The alicorn yelled at him "Now then I'm going to summon your allies in our conquest, do play nice with them or its back to the pit with you." The dark alicorn ended his words with a smile of pure malice before he removed his wings as the beast behind him grumbled and sealed his wounds with a small trace of dark blue magic and Wrath’s ‘ally’ turned around and primed his horn for the spell as soon four more spheres appeared. Two contained unicorn ponies but they were nothing like the others Wrath had met. One was made of pure shadow and the other was covered head to hoof in golden armor with trims of black on the bottom armor with glowing eyes and his cutie mark was a sight that impressed even the dragon God for it held a sliver colored sword dripping with red blood that covered a good amount of the full, pure white moon adored on the pony’s flank. The other two spheres spat out a griffon, male or female the reptile did not know, nor of the other two and, but to Wrath's utter surprise, another alicorn but noticeably smaller but the power it radiated sat not too far from the creature that summoned him. The armored unicorn bowed in the presence of the alicorn giant "Master," the armored unicorn said while the others merely looked around at their surrounding area trying to understand where they were at, confused of their location. "Don't bother trying to know where you reside, it will hurt your head," Wrath told the other three and then all four turned around towards a sudden sound like smoke being released and noticed that the creature that was once an alicorn was now a male black scaled covered dragon with blood red wings, the smaller alicorn, who Wrath now realized was a male, seemed to have an epiphany as he started to panic. "B-brother is that r-really y-you?" he asked as the dragon responded with an emotionless chuckle. "Yes little brother I am still very much alive and soon our vengeance against our loving brother Mar will be set in motion." The lord of darkness said before he opened up a portal. Somewhere deep in the mountains of Equestria five powerful creatures were spawned from the black pit itself without a sound. All of them were waiting for the very moment when they will bathe the world in blood, fire and ashes. OriginsSeveral millenia ago several races existed on the world of Equis. There were, of course, the ponies, the griffons and all of the other creatures that are well known but Tamriel thought back further to when there were creatures stronger than even the mighty Discord when angels and demons ruled the land. He and his brothers were in fact offspring of those two races but unlike the others they were able to shift their images to better fit their surroundings but their true forms were of the strongest beasts in the land. He was the first and most powerful however he always considered his little brother,Mar Grimm, to be the only one capable of matching him in combat. For a while all was peaceful but then mother dear became the queen of demons and quickly became mad with power something had to be done so what better way to handle this than to send in the misfits Oh I don't know maybe you could have sent in some archangels?! Tamriel thought bitterly but he knew his request would fall on deaf ears "The council cannot afford to loose any of its best fighters so therefore since you are outside of our military you shall do this your self and perhaps that will correct the mistake your parents made." This was what was told to him and his brothers and it was clear across the faces of Tamriel's siblings they hated this possibly even more than he did. The day they were sent out was a very taxing and tiring day for them. The distances they traveled were incredibly long but boring as well so every now and then they would stop, set up camp, and then train. Tamriel personally trained Mar so that he could become the next reaper, a title not to be taken lightly, since Tamriel knew his time would soon be over. "No Mar like this. You have to hold the scythe like this," "Now that was better than yesterday but your form could use a little bit improving the scythe is not like a sword it cannot defend well but it makes you agile," "The way you fight sadly reminds me of Dusk, pure aggression, the reaper must always be on his toes, or hooves depending on what form you take on, so constant movement is imperative," the training went on like that when one day Mar stopped mid practice "This is ridiculous brother why us I think the council are merely jealous of our power and sent us out because they thought we would die out here." Mar complained Tamriel couldn't help but silently agree with his young brother this was foolishness but they had to do this. "Tamriel! Mar! You might want to check this out!" They heard Ryol yell out and both nephilim ran towards the angel of famine and saw that he was pointing out a scene that shocked all five of the angels. There, down in the field below them, were several demons and a creature that looked like an amalgamation of creatures and Dusk instantly recognized the being "I don't believe it. A Draconequus! Alive and well!" "You know what that thing is brother?" Mar asked him Dusk only nodded his head in response "Well whatever that thing is what those demons are doing to it is not right treating it like a wild animal." Aria said "I wouldn't be to sure Just yet sister." Dusk told her "You see this thing can warp reality itself but they are mainly known for causing minor pranks." "It matters not but we must move on- where's Mar?" Tamriel asked but already knew the answer "He didn't," they looked down and already saw the fledgling reaper engage the demons in combat already so much for subtlety he thought and soon the rest of the angels joined the fray. "NOW THIS IS MY KIND OF FIGHT!" Dusk yelled. in moments though the fight ended and Mar picked up the keys from a dissolving demon and opened the cage the creature slowly walked out apparently frightened by the encounter "Hey there little guy what's your name?" Mar asked "My name is Discord." the timid beast said and left a puzzled expression on Mar's face, "Come again i couldn't hear that?" The nephilim asked the small creature, "My name is Discord prince of whatever is left of the Draconequus race thank you for saving me and... what are you?" Discord asked. The others merely looked at Mar with looks that said this is all you "Gee thanks guys" Mar said bitterly but soon turned around and softened himself for the creature in front of him "My name is Mar Grimm." Discord only looked at him "Are you an angel?" he asked Mar chuckled a little at the comment "In a manner of speaking, it was nice talking to you little guy here take this amulet it'll teleport you anywhere you want to go and no where you don't want to go but make sure no one else sees it okay? It is very dangerous." He handed him an amulet that had a unique design to it The design was like that of a chimera and then Discord made sure it was inside him so that no one will take it and he snapped his fingers to see if it worked Those creatures were nice I hope the other species I meet are just as nice, they say ponies are open minded Discord thought to himself and soon nothing was left of the camp site not even the angels left a trace of themselves. The letterSpike woke up that morning with sweat beaded on him as once more the nightmares plagued his sleep. Buck every time I finally get some sleep they just seem to find some way to ruin it for me, he thought to himself. His dreams have troubled him ever since he and Twilight rescued their daughter, Dawn, from an alien. The encounter, needless to say, had thoroughly damaged him both physically and mentally. Each nightmare was about that thing taking his daughter away right in front of him. This one, however, felt different. The alien no longer tormented him but rather a cloud of darkness steals away what is more precious than any gemstone. He would try and stop it, but it was as if he was bound where he stood. He couldn't lift a claw against the darkness, and the darkness gave a cold laugh that sounded vaguely familiar. "What can you do now spike?" the darkness taunted "All you did when you were younger was hide behind others stronger than you. Look at you, still the same cowardly lizard even after 10 years! They think you've changed?! HA! How utterly pathetic, but my question stands. How can you stop me now, when you can't even protect your own daughter?" the Darkness asked as it swallowed Dawn, hiding her from sight. Her screams of terror woke him as always. It no longer troubled him, but he still felt troubled. The mockery was immaterial to him, as he had thick skin. What it was that disturbed him was actually the dark smoke that talked to him so familiar. It reminded him of things past. Why, after all these years, do I think of him now? Twilight was already up, and typical her she was already in trade negotiations. Spike was proud of his wife for taking her job so seriously. "So therefore equine we diamond dogs must have those gems if we are to survive. We eats them like your dragon husband please, missus help us," the creature in front of Twilight explained. So the ambassador in question was a diamond dog. Spike remembered back from his youth when these simple hunters scared him and kidnapped the former love of his life Rarity. The grudge had long since faded, but it gave him a jolt every time to see one was especially surprising considering they were a reclusive bunch but if he thought that was a surprise then the pair of royal guards knocking on his front door was a real show stopper for him. Upon hearing the knock Spike also realized he was naked in terms of clothing, something that's not very noble of a king. Smooth Spike real smooth. he thought bitterly to himself before he went back to his chambers and got on his royal clothing. "Is Spike Sparkle at home and is he available?" the one on the right asked "Here and in the flesh gentlecolts." the golden dragon answered Twilight turned and saw Spike in his traditional clothing attire a sleeveless crimson and white short jacket with a long collar, a crimson waist cape with matching pants and a pair of dark brown gloves. While the clothes Spike wore weren't very fashionable and didn't really fit the royal standards, they showed his independence and reminded others that he was a force not to be trifled with. "So what seems to be the problem boys?" Spike asked. "You have been summoned to Canterlot for an important meeting with all three princesses." said the guard on the left who then gave the dragon a sealed envelope this must be important. Spike unrolled the letter and confirmed what he already confirmed, that the letter was indeed from Princess Celestia {My old friend Spike a dire matter has occurred in the bad lands north of the changeling border but Chrysalis says she and her swarm are not to blame which troubles me greatly and I would like you and Twilight's counseling in this matter respond soon sincerely, Celestia.} Spike was pleased to have an excuse to go to Canterlot. He could catch up with some old friends. As important as the note seemed, it couldn't so important he couldn't make a few side stops along the way. "DAWN!" Spike yelled and not a moment later a lavender kirin with green streaks showed up via teleportation. She was getting better at it, and had inherited the skill from her mother. , "Hey pops whats up?" she asked Twilight responded before Spike even opened his maw. "Dawn, sweetie, me and dad are going to Canterlot to see your aunts for a very important meeting. Do you think you can handle being alone here by yourself for a while?" She asked. Dawn nodded in response and teleported out as quickly as she had appeared, "Now all we have to do is find Rainbow and we can go." "Where is she anyway?" Spike asked stupidly. Twilight rolled her eyes and Spike felt ridiculous for even asking. "Last I saw of her she was out on the training grounds having another race with Gilda." Twilight stated Rainbow and Gilda both arrived to Rainbow's barrack after both of them finished the little race they just had. They were very tired. "You know Gilda I don't think I ever saw you fly that fast before you holding out on me?" Gilda only replied with a sly smile on her eagle face, "Hey I'm not the one who got in last place during our little challenge now am I?" she taunted and just as rainbow was about fall on her bed to take her traditional morning nap Spike busted in. "Morning girls get a good night sleep?" he asked sarcastically both girls groaned being deprived a perfect moment of sleep "Yeah Spike we got a really good night of sleep," Rainbow said with a obvious hint of sarcasm then asked "Have you ever considered knocking?". Spike thought about it for a moment then responded "No, not really." he started to walk out whne he suddenly remembered why he was here in the first place "Me and Twilight are going to Canterlot and we were wondering if you would like to join us, you know, maybe see some old friends and me and her have to attend a meeting with the princesses. So are you interested?" Upon hearing this Rainbow got excited almost immediately and nearly knocked over Gilda. "Sorry Gilda!" she shouted. Soon everything was packed and ready to go they all said their goodbyes and swore they would be back as soon as the council session was over but Spike had a feeling of dread inside of him that this meeting might end up taking longer than what any of them were hoping for. Hello TraitorIt was a beautiful day when The King and Queen of Griffonia left for Canterlot with their most trusted and loyal bodyguard. No one could ever say that there was anything odd about that day, unless they looked to the hills not too far from the castle and noticed the five dark silhouettes up top. “Do you really think he is that stubborn? What do you bet he only just realized something is wrong?” the dragon god asked. King Sombra replied with a cold hiss “Of courssse he isss the drag-GAAAH!” the dark unicorn could barely finish before Wrath launched himself at the dark pony and soon had him in his clutches “DON’T YOU DARE CALL HIM THAT! HE IS A BLOOD TRAITOR AND NOTHING ELSE! HE IS NOT PURE!” the god hissed carefully not to raise his voice too loud to draw attention to the group. The fallen king soon gained his composure again “Very well then. The blood traitor, as we will call him now, isss ssso easy to manipulate. Once you know hisss true fear he becomesss the perfect puppet.” While the two creatures at the entrance were consumed in their conversation, elsewhere the rest of their group were busy setting up the remainder of the camp. This gave the gryphon time to examine his new form. While technically still a gryphon but now with multiple beaks and reeking of dead flesh, he thinks to himself This is not natural. I was a proud warrior once, and now this? “Do not waste your time trying to figure out your new form,” the armored unicorn, named Blood Moon, said as though reading the gryphon’s thought, “Just be grateful that the Master decided to give you this form. We considered a far worse option. Don’t forget that it was he that allowed you to take your kingdom back.” With that last word the unicorn finally got the tent set up as night fell. The time was perfect to call to the demon that brought all of them together. “Dusk, get the mirror ready. I must report back to our Master.” Blood Moon said and the tall dark alicorn of war disappeared into shadows to retrieve the item. It had been nearly 5 days since Spike, Twilight, and Rainbow left for Canterlot. The journey to the palace was a long but uneventful trip. All the way up there Spike had this strange emotion that was eating him up and he couldn’t figure out what it was. It’s probably just separation anxiety. After all, I haven't left my daughters side since she was abducted by that alien. He thought to himself. He relaxed soon after the thought entered his mind and he drifted into sleep and for once no nightmares came to plague his mind. In their place was a peace he has not had in some time. Celestia kept pacing back and forth within the old war room, which has not been in use since the Griffon-Pony war, tiring her fetlocks out with worry. What could be taking them so long? Maybe they were ambushed by robbers or assassins. No if that were the case I would’ve heard Spike’s demonic roar.... something I do not wish to hear again. The Princess thought to herself “Sister, what ails you now? You need to relax...they’ll be here soon.” Luna told her. Nothing seemed to soothe the ruler of the sun. “Your younger sibling speaks true, Celestia. If what I remember about them is true, Twilight should be safe as long as Spike is near her.” An insectoid alicorn said appearing from the shadows of the dark room. The once fearsome queen of the changeling race now has become a peaceful ruler and was about to enter negotiations when she heard that horrid bell ring. “I’m sorry but I still worry about her despite what happened in the past.” The sun princess said, remembering when she was given Twilight by a divine beast in order to help end the war sooner.Since then she has felt guilty using Twilight in such a manner and prayed she would never use her like that again. Spike wherever you and Twilight are now please make haste and return to me. As it turned out nothing bad happened to them at all. They reached Canterlot early enough to actually relax before the meeting. They sent out a message to their four friends to meet them at the closest restaurant in the area. After about a two hour wait there was still no sign of them anywhere. "You two do realize that Pinkie will be the first one to show up right?" Rainbow asked both Spike and Twilight "We know, Rainbow.... but that's the problem. What if she doesn't come?" Twilight asked in her usual worried manner "I mean, I know she isn't normally late but what if something happened at sugar cube corner and she couldn't ma-MMMMPPPPPPHHHHHH!" Twilight stopped mid sentence when Spike cupped a clawed hand over her mouth. "Twilight sweetie you need to relax she'll be here when she ge-GAAAAHHHHHH!" Spike half roared because of the sudden appearance of balloons and streamers which meant one thing. Pinkie Pie had brought not only the rest of the gang but also her famous party cannon to celebrate their return. "ohhiguyssorrywecouldn'tshowupanysonnerbutthetrafficuphereissohorribleandthegirlsinsistedon-" whatever Pinkie was going to say next was drowned out by the gang hugging and talking among themselves. After about an hour of talking and eating with each other Spike noticed they were getting behind schedule by a mere five minutes. "Well me and Twi have to get going. We have a meeting with the princesses and Chrysalis to discuss something that happened in the badlands near the changeling hive." He could feel the sadness coming off of them and he suddenly thought of something "You know.... they never said we couldn't have company aside from Rainbow now did they?" He said with a mischievous smile and Twilight smiled and nearly tackled him with her flying hug. The journey to reach the castle was longer than expected because they decided not to take a carriage. They finally got to the front porch and Twilight suddenly realized something I could've teleported us all the way here. Maybe I shouldn't say anything to them. They found the war room guarded on all sides by three different guards, representing each of the rulers in the room "You girls stay out here. Me and Twilight are going to have to ride solo on this one. Sorry." Spike said. With that they headed into the conference. What caught both Spike and his wife off guard was how much bigger the room was on the inside compared to the short stature of the door they opened. The other was how regal the three alicorns appeared compared to what they normally looked like. "Twilight, Spike I'm glad you could finally come. Now, why did you send out the letter to meet with us?" she asked and was surprised to see confused looks on both of their faces. "We sent out a letter? Celestia I think you have the whole thing backwards you were the one who sent out the letter not us." Spike explained and all of a sudden he had a chill run through his body.... if neither of them sent out the letter than who did? The answer came in the form of a familiar cold voice. "That would be our doing princessssss." Suddenly, a bolt of black lightning filled the room and knocked all the occupants back from the table. A column of black smoke started to slide down. When the smoke finally touched down it started to form the unmistakable figure of a very tall unicorn. The first thing that formed were his hooves, black as midnight, with iron boots covering them with spiked tips at the end. The next portion to form was the pony's body, most of which was covered by a long red cape with a white outline with black spots embroidered on them. All of this was nothing compared to when the head formed which revealed the dark colts face with long fangs protruding from his mouth. To top it all off, he wore a crown with his signature curved red horn. Sombra took a moment to breathe in the fear and hate he sensed within the room "Ah it'ssss good to be alive again." He looked around and laughed wickedly as he saw he was being given the evil eye by the only dragon in the room. "Ssso little one we meet again. Have any sssweet dreamsss during your reign?" Sombra asked Spike who responded with a very deep growl "I'll take that as a yesss then." "I BEAT YOU ONCE DICK WAD I CAN DO SO AGAIN!" Spike yelled and he launched himself at the dark unicorn and he grabbed him on the first go That was way to easy. Spike thought to himself and was soon proven right by the sudden arrival of... himself. The dragon that he was soon having a grappling contest with was every bit like him but he had different colors that mirrored what he used to look like before he gained his throne; green with purple spines, and he was much fiercer than he expected. The dragon parried every single one of Spike's own moves, even his energy blasts seem to be somewhat superior versions of his own, and soon the older dragon wrestled Spike down to the floor his reverse wings flapping out and a sickening grin spread across his face. "Hello blood traitor we meet at last." the dragon said to Spike "Whoa, whoa, whoa time out who are you exactly now?"questioned Spike. "Hmph.... you do not deserve to ask anything of me, you filth! But since I'm feeling generous, I'll have you know my name is Wrath and I am your doom." A blade suddenly appeared in his hand with a mere flick of his wrist. Spike knew what Wrath was planning on doing. He tried kneeing him in the balls to get away... and was met with success. The god of greed practically yelled in pain as he let go of his prey. "YOU ARROGANT WORM I'LL BUTCHER YOU FOR THAT!" He yelled but was soon pushed back by a blast from Twilight. "Oh this will be fun. OKAY BOYS CURTAIN TIME!" The former god yelled and was soon answered by a screech from the gryphon warrior who busted through the stained glass windows with Blood Moon on his back, the latter of which jumped off and spread his own artificial bat wings. Twilight soon grew nervous. One enemy as powerful as the beings in front of them she and the others could handle with ease, two still no problem, three was pushing it, but four was going a little over their respective weight class. "So what do you think nag? Ready for your first beat down?" The god of greed asked before flicking out a razor sharp claw and soon after rushed forward with blood on his mind. The Rise Of EclipseAs the dragon was about to strike Twilight he was denied his attack due to a force field from Luna. "My spell will only block him for so long Twilight Sparkle but you need to leave! DISCORD!!!" The princess yelled. The draconequus appeared a short moment later. His body was covered in suds and he squeaked a rubber duck before turning around to notice the creatures in the room. "Really can no one have privacy anymore?!" He yelled as he pulled across a bath curtain that he somehow conjured up. He poked his head out again and saw who Spike was having a wrestling match with he suddenly lost all sense of comedy and started to lead Twilight out. "Twilight I need you to get the other Elements in here now. Don't ask questions GO!" He shouted with sudden worry. She merely stared at him before he closed the doors on her. After she shook her head Twilight turned down the hall to notice the others looking at her with surprised looks on their faces. She was about to shout for them when she heard something from the other side of the doors. She turned towards it and saw a grennish-purple energy orb before darkness greeted her. *minutes earlier* As the dragon was blasted from his prey due to the force field he turned to try and find a new target and spotted the little freak that mated with that nag. "You," Wrath said with venom. He charged Spike and the two were locked in combat. "You pathetic excuse for a dragon," The taller drake said to Spike, venom dripping in his voice, "You are a member of one of the strongest beings alive yet you side with these... equines?" he asked. Spike merely looked at him with a look of confusion and locked claws with the mad drake again. "What's wrong with dating them huh? Did one of them dump you when you were younger?" Spike asked the older drake who gave him a look of malice. "They are but meals to our kind," The dragon said as he and spike traded blows, each one more devastating than the last, "Weak pathetic beings that only serve to be hunted by their superiors, us the dragons," The Green Dragon said. Spike pushed himself away, aware that Sombra and the armored Unicorn were battling with Celestia and Luna in magical combat, an impressive feat on it's own, his attention also turned towards Cadence and Chrysalis who engaged the strange griffon in aerial combat as he turned towards Wrath he only had one thing going through his mind. "...You're insane," and then the elder dragon lost it. His roar nearly deafened spike who dodged out of the way of a blast of pure energy from the elder drake opening a hole that hit, "TWILIGHT!" The blast made contact with the lavender Alicorn leaving Spike to only stare in horror as his wife was just vaporized in front of him. The other drake however just scoffed "I told you they are weak and now you get to join her and that whore of a daughter you two have." He said. Spike growled as he heard him say that but then. "You mother bucker," A voice said but it didn't come from Spike or any of the others in the room but from the spot where the queen of Griffonia once stood. What emerged from the smoke was a dark lavender Kirin but with some notecably different things, her spikes were more pointed, her teeth were more pronounced, and she also had wings that were jet black as the night itself. "You can't be alive. I blasted you..." The elder drake said more out of rage then shock. The kirin merely growled "I am NOT Twilight Sparkle you insolent lizard, she is but one of my glorious forms. My name," she flew over and pinned the green dragon to a wall "Is. ECLIPSE!" As she said this though. A quarter of the room started rapidly decaying, debris of the ground begain to melt as two long, curved claws erupted from the ground, spewing green acid that slightly melted Cadence's fur as she gasped in pain, a head was shown through the earth as a cruel chuckle emitted from the beast's mouth "At least, freedom is at my claws." the form which had taken the name of Eclipse glowered at the dark creature before her which spread his eagle wings, curling his claws as he waved his lion tail, slicing a support beam near him with a yawn. "So, the Equestrian Gods....it has been EONS, since we had last spoken, Discord." he spoke emotionlessly as Discord bared his fangs and hissed, a red aura surrounding his form. "Buck yourself you Tartarus created monster, I bow to no God, well expect for myself that is." the being rolled his eyes as he looked towards Spike who was on the verge of pissing himself. "So you're the one one that saved the crystal empire," the creature said with a malicious grin, "You know you prevented my rise back then as well but no matter. It will proceed as scheduled but first." The creature moved his claw towards the princess's of the sun and moon before they hunched over in pain. "I will be taking these... trophies," "MOM, AUNT LUNA! Get your bucking talons off of them you winged bastard!" Spike snarled and raced with an enormous flap of his wings towards the griffon who swatted him away with his tail as if he was an insect "A god as weak as you should have just stayed mortal, Crystal Savior. A shame Sombra was defeated so easily, I was owed a debt from him, how droll, return what was once mine, Goddess of the Sun and Moon!." "What are you talking about monster?!" Celestia asked through her pain. The creature merely grinned at her. "Perhaps you need a little reminder," and then it's face morphed into a black dragon. The face stunned Celestia as it pulled it's head back in laughter. "I see you haven't forgotten about me then Celly." Celestia kept staring at the beast as it's face morphed back into an eagle's. "Y-you died." She stammered. The beast just stared at her before it continued talking. "A mere delay Celestia but I order you again. GIVE ME THAT WHICH BELONGS TO ME YOU WHORSE!" "You dare interfere!" The dragon lord yelled, released from the grip of the kirin opposite him. "If you have an issue with my authority Wrath I could send you back to your little play pin." The creature said with a smirk. Wrath merely grunted in response. The kirin then launched itself at the creature who merely waved a claw and sent her flying towards a wall and turned her back to her normal alicorn self. "TWILIGHT!" The other elements shouted as they finally entered the room. They stared at the creature before it shouted. "ENOUGH! WE HAVE WHAT WE CAME FOR NOW AND SO I LEAVE WITH A CHOICE!" It turned towards Twilight and Spike with a malicious grin on it's face. "Either you come fight my forces, who by the way will tear apart any and all who stand in their way, that are amassing outside of Ponyville, or you could go out and stop one of my soldiers here from taking your daughter. Either way you save one but damn the other. I win no matter what you do Spike." It finished as it turned towards the horizon and vanished with the twin goddesses into the ground. The beasts that served it merely left in their own fashions. The griffon and armored unicorn merely took to the skies, King Sombra teleported out, and Wrath merely opened his wings and landed on a broken window. But before he left he shot Spike one last look of hatred. "Remember this fight Spike," He said his name as though it was poison "For it should give you a taste of what's to come and I promise you before this is all over I will rip your head off and use it as my personal cup." and with that he leaped from the window he was perched on and vanished into the night.
The dark one awakensTrapped....that was the feeling the dark one felt ever since he was imprisoned, Tartarus the council had called it.
