Chapters Chapter 1- The dream
Once again, just like every night, my eyes meet the moon as I tilt my head upwards. It’s as bright as always, that creamy yellow. It makes me think of how bright I once was. “Oh Rarity! How beautiful!” Fluttershy cooed, admiring the dress I gave her. It was her birthday present, a sky blue dress with dainty floral designs at the tip. Fluttershy gave me a sweet smile, and gestured towards the door. “Shall we?” I nodded in glee, and headed towards the door, her pacing behind me.
We walked, hoof in hoof, along the main street of ponyville. We had the most AMAZING party to attend, one held by the local spa we always go to. I actually wasn’t the one who found out about it, it was Fluttershy. Her face when she asks….it was like that HNGGGG those brony people do. I couldn’t say no. By now, Fluttershy and I had reached a turn, the one that leads to the spa. However, it was detoured, due to road works. A dusty, overused sign was pointing left, showing us the new route. I yelled. Rainbow and Pinkie, who were just staring into space, shot around to look at me. I could feel 4 pairs of eyes glaring through my soul, searching for an answer. "It's a long, LONG story" I finally said after moments of silence. They looked at me as if to say "Go on", so I did.
I told them about the creatures, and how Flutters warned me not to. With every word I spoke, the room got darker and darker, tenser and tenser. Every sentence was followed by a gasp, and a tear drop. When I got to the rape part, Pinkie winced, and ran to hide behind the shelves. After what seemed like forever, I stopped. Horrified looks of hatred and confusion filled the room, but they all seemed to focus on me. I gulped.
I can't remember much after that. It was all a blur, swept away by the tears I cry everyday. All I can remember is Rainbow yelling loudly, and kicking a few shelves, causing books to fall on AppleJack. I remember being practically banished from Ponyville forever, and that's why I'm here now. Under a box. Sleeping on guilt.
Before I knew it, morning came. The sun beamed down on my waxy face, the birds filled the blue void high in the sky. However, nothing could fix my mood. I slowly got to my legs, and walked off down the alley I live in. Everyday, I attempt to walk to the end, so far, to no avail.
"Names Spud, part of the detective unit of Manehattan police." The pony said. By now, he was cuffing the masked thief.
But something about his smile, just pilled me in.

Typing away at my computer, sitting like a human did, I checked my watch to see the time. Only, it wasn't my shiny silver watch that caught my eye, it was the scratch that was gleaming red and my wrist. Obviously, it was from when that thug who is now in the cells, thanks to that poor mare with the tangled mane. I knew who she was, Rarity the rape victim. Everyone discriminates her for leaving her friend, but what she did was very noble, and basically pony nature.
The scratch on my hand stung like a needle, so I decided to find a sticky plaster of some sort. I got up from my sticky hot seat, and trotted down stairs. It was a fairly hot day today, enough to make my mousy brown coat turn darker, drenched with sweat. Then again, I'm not very good with heat.
I got down to reception, where the 1st aid kit was kept, behind the receptionist, Ladyworks. She gave me the usual fake smile, and the traditional reception greeting.
"Spud!" Came a slightly familiar voice from the door. I turned around in shock, to see Rarity, her mane now brushed. The look on her face showed disappointment, and she was holding up the card I gave her with stiff hooves.
I took the hint, and told it to her bluntly. "That, was my ex"
The pupils in Rarity's dilated, and she let a small gasp escape her lips. Silence filled the room.
It was a silence that seemed to last forever. I sat there, watching Rarity stare blankly in to the void behind me. I wanted to know what was going on inside her head, but she was so hard to read.
After what seemed like hours, one of us spoke. Obviously, it was Rarity.
"I'll do it" She spoke, her voice filling my ears. I breathed.
She nodded at me slowly, and began to rise up from her chair. I followed suite.
She nodded again, and walked out of the office without another word. I wanted to follow her, I don't know why, I just....did.
