Equestria's Demise

It was early in the morning and Twilight had just woken up from Spike tugging on the sheets to the bed. Spike had a letter in his hand that was tied with red ribbon with the golden royal seal attached. He handed her the letter and said "This is a letter from Princess Celestia, i'm going back to bed, it's to early for this." Spike then walked off and went back to bed.

Twilight shouted over to Spike and said "Thanks Spike!" and she untied the ribbon and began to read.

Dear Twilight,

Canterlot is in a state of emergency, Discord has broken out of the stone statue. I believe that he is working together with somepony and he couldn't have done this by himself. I know they are going to cause more deaths and raise chaos in Equestria. I am asking you and your friends yet again to help me keep the peace because we can not do this alone. Please hurry back to Canterlot with your friends.

Urgently,

Princess Celestia

Twilight then sat the letter into her saddle bags and rushed down the stairs. She yelled back to Spike from the first floor "SPIIKE, Meet me at Rarity's house before noon. I'm going out to gather the girls so we can go meet Princess Celestia in canterlot." Twilight then ran out of her house and headed straight to Sweet Apple Acres to get Applejack.

Spike got up, and ran out the door because all he wanted to do is see Rarity.

Twilight ran closer and closer to Sweet Apple Acres and thought to herself hoping that she wasn't to late to help the Princess. Twilight's thoughts were interrupted from above by a shrill voice saying "HIIIII TWIlight, whats the hurry? It was Pinkie Pie just sitting in a tree. Pinkie then floated down thanks to the baloons tied around her waist and Twilight said

"Pinkie, Discord has broken out and is causing mayhem in Canterlot. I recieved a letter this morning and Princess Celestia instructed me to gather everypony and go to Canterlot immediatly. We are all going to meet at Rarity's, by noon."

Pinkie then retorted "Sweet Celestia! This sounds serious. Meet you there Twilight." Pinkie then put on a mustache and ran off before Twilight could say anything else.

"Okay?" Twilight said as she walked into Sweet Apple Acres screaming for Applejack. "Applejack! Applejack! Where are you?" Twilight looked around as she could not find Applejack. "Where is that orange work pony?" Twilight turned around right before she walked out Applejack walked in.

"Hey Twilight can you help me with these apples?" Applejack said.

"No I cant because we need to get to Canterlot immediately, Celestia has requested to see us, because Discord has broken out of his stone statue and may have the assistance of some other pony." Twilight said as she walked back and forth. "I think that helping you gather apples right now is in the least of are worries. Everyone is meeting up at Raritys' house.We will all get going to Canterlot when I get everypony there."

"Okay meet you there Twi." Applejack shouted back while running to Raritys' house.

Twilight was making her way to Fluttershys' cottage when a blue blur whips right by her as she runs. That blue blur was Rainbow Dash almost crashing into her. Rainbow Dash lands right next to Twilight and says "Why are you in such in a hurry Twi."

Twilight stops and looks right at Rainbow Dash. "Well I am in a hurry because the Princess has requested to see us in Canterlot because Discord has broken out of his stone statue again. The Princess also believes that he didn't break out alone. It seems that he had help from somepony." Twilight says with a straight face.

"Wait I thought we kicked his flank back to stone for good and your telling me he is back out. Who would want to help that freak." Rainbow Dash said with a confused look on her face.

"I don't know, but it must have somepony that actually had the power to help him do something really evil probably." Twilight thought of who it could have been that released him and none came to mind. "Well I was going to get you and Fluttershy, but since your here everypony is meeting at Raritys' house. You go, and I will get Fluttershy when I go with her to Raritys then we will go to Canterlot." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash was off in a flash and Twilight started bolting towards Fluttershys' cottage once again.

When Twilight got to the cottage she got some looks from the small critters that were all around her. She knocked on the door to Fluttershys' cottage and then heard a "be there in a minute just got to feed Angel his lunch." Then Twilight heard a loud crash from inside cottage and barged in and there was a large mess because Angel flipped his food bowl because he didn't want that food he thought it was nasty. "Angel don't throw your food away like that if you do that again you won't get a lunch at all." Fluttershy said with a soft voice. "Oh... hello Twilight what brings you hear to almost break my door off its hinges."

"Oh..." Twilight looked at the door that was hanging on one hinge now because of the applied force put on it just a minute ago. "Sorry about that I heard a loud crash and thought you were hurt." Twilight said with a little sorrow in her voice. "Also I was here because Celestia has requested to see us in Canterlot right away because Discord broke out of his stone statue and she need us there as fast as possible." Fluttershy nearly fainted at that last sentence, because that is the last thing that she wanted hear well at least in her lifetime anyway.

"Why did it have to be Discord that had to be freed from his imprisonment. It couldn't have been anypony else?" Fluttershy said with fear in her eyes.

"I know I don't like it either, but duty is duty and we have to stop him. Everyone is already at Raritys' house waiting for us so we should get going." Twilight said as she started out the door, but Fluttershy wouldn't move because she was too afraid to go. "Come on Fluttershy we have to go fight Discord and save Equestria or we will all be doomed do you want to live under his rule or save everyone from impending doom." Twilight said in a frantic pleading tone.

"Okay Twilight I will do it for the sake of are friendship" Fluttershy still scared out of her wits, but trying to hide it behind a straight face.

"Thank you Fluttershy we wouldn't be able to defeat him without your help you are just as important as the rest of us." Twilight said trying to comfort her as best as possible

"Thanks Twilight that really means a lot" Fluttershy said smiling weakly

Fluttershy and Twilight make their way to Raritys' house and get there to find everyone read and packed to go to Canterlot. Rarity walks over to Twilight and says, "If what the others are saying is true, then we are in a predicament here Twilight."

"Yes we are Rarity, but we can overcome any foe with the magic of friendship." Twilight said in complete confidence. "Is everypony ready."

"Well duh." Pinkie said with a smug look on her face. "Why do you think we were waiting Twilight?" Twilight rolled her eyes at Pinkies comment and decided to shrug it off and said to herself she best leave it alone.

They arrive at the train station and all of them hear the conductor say "Next stop Canterlot all aboard who is coming aboard

"Yeah, lets get the show on the road ponies we got places to be and villains to defeat." Rainbow said pushing the other five ponies the train.

"Next stop Canterlot." Twilight said with a little worry in her voice. The train leaves the station and they are on their way to meet the Princesses. As the sun set on the the beautiful day bestowed apon them they all to their bunks that have been set up by the train staff, and had no trouble falling to sleep because they all knew they had a big day ahead of them.
