After years of delinquent performance, Death is left with an ultimatum: collect the soul of Applejack by sunrise or be fired.
It has been ten years since Death collected the soul of a pony. In order to keep his job, he must complete one job by sunrise, taking the life of Applejack. Contrary to one's expectations, Applejack doesn't particularly want to die, leaving the specter in a difficult position.
