Chapter 1
The Beginning
The pain.
I slowly sat up from my bed as I opened my groggy eyes. My mind-splitting headache pounded through my body, causing me to rub my temples. I sluggishly tossed my sheets on the floor and slid my feet from the bed. I pushed back on the bed and with a little jump I stood up.
Big mistake.
A wave of nausea rushed over me, feeling like someone had put my intestines in a blender. I started towards my door, trying to reach the bathroom. I took a few steps, trying to keep myself focused away from the pain.
I fell over, the sudden movement causing a stir in my stomach. I tried to control the feeling rising in my chest, but it was too late. I threw up a brownish liquid over my carpet, various pills floating in the substance. My mind blanked out as I slipped into unconsciousness.

Without opening my eyes I already knew I wasn’t in my home. I felt the cool sensation of grass beneath my body. What happened? I don’t know. Why was I outside? It didn’t matter, nothing did. I felt at peace. The sun shined brightly, embracing me with its warmth.
My silence was disturbed by the sound of nearby footsteps. I awoke from my bliss and sat up, looking towards where the noise came from. A strange pink horse stood in front of me with a look of confusion.
A strange pink horse.
A PINK HORSE.
I pointed at it and tried to talk, but only inaudible gasps came out.
“Wowie, I’ve never seen any animal like you before!,” the strange creature said.
“I’m going fucking insane,” I replied.
“What’s a fuck? Ooooo I know! Is it candy?! No, wait! I got it! It’s a game right?! And I’ve never seen an animal like you before! You look like a monkey!,” the horse said, jumping in the air with excitement.
I look up and was surprised to see it had disappeared. “What the fu-”
I was interrupted as a hoof touched me from behind. I nearly flew out of my socks as I stood up. I twirled around only to see the the same ‘thing’ from moments ago. “How did you get there?,” I said, completely confused.
“Don’t worry about that silly,” the technicolor horsey thing said with a grin. “Since it’s your first time in Ponyville, I’m gonna throw you a BIG surprise party! Well it’s not so much of a surprise now,” she said with a sheepish smile. “My name’s Pinkie Pie! What’s yours?”
“That’s not important.”
“But OF COURSE it’s important! Every name is super duper special!”
“Could you please just shut up!?,” I snapped at Pinkie.
“But... I just wanna be friends,” Pinkie said, tears filling up the corners of her eyes.
An idea crept into my head. “Pinkie I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude. Could I give you a hug to make up for it?”
“It’s okay silly!” Pinkie said, suddenly wrapping me in a hug, her warm face pressing against my chest.
I returned the hug and let me arms go across Pinkie’s back. This was kinda nice. Pinkie was warm and seemed kinda friendly and.....
No.
I grabbed the sides of Pinkie’s head and sharply twisted. I heard a light crack as her head twisted almost completely around. I let go of Pinkie, her now dead body limping to the floor.
Memories flooded my head. I was in Equestria, more specifically, Ponyville. It seemed killing a pony somehow gave you the power of their cutie mark. I knew everypony, Rainbow Dash, AppleJack, Fluttershy and the lot. I knew what they loved and what made them tick. How... interesting.
I looked carefully around to see if anypony had seen what I had committed. When the coast was clear I grabbed Pinkie’s body and started dragging her to the nearby river. No body, no evidence.
“Goodbye Pinkie Pie,” I said as I tossed her into the river. I watched her until she was swept away by the current, leaving only the faint smell of cotton candy still on me.
I was near the edge of town, so the closest building was the cottage of Fluttershy. Although she seemed shy, she possessed a certain amount of strength of which I had no idea the limit of. There was also the stare, that could stop me dead in my tracks if I wasn’t careful.
Oh, this is gonna be very fun.

Author's Note
This is my very first story ever, so it may not be up to super-awesome-cheese-covered-mega standards, but I think it came out pretty good. Special thanks to P3RROHAMBRE and Nexuskld for being awesome and helping me A LOT with the story. HOORAY FOR FRIENDCHIPS!
