The Shiftier and the Anthropologist

Chapter 3-

Lyra-

I walked out of my house to head to Rarity's dress shop to grab black fabric. "I can't believe only two min. ago I met not one but two humans" I said to my self as I walked through ponyville and headed to the dress shop "Um hello?" I said as I walked in "yes I'll be right with you" Rarity said "Yah I need some black fabric?" I said as she ran up and gave me a roll "that will be 15 bits, sorry I don't have much time to chat I have much work to do" "alright" I said handing her the monny then left "thank Celestia she didn't ask why" I said as I walked out and headed back home.

"I'm back" I said as I walked back into my house "Lyra!" Bonbon said to me in a hushed voice "There are... Things in your room!" She exclaimed "I don't think they saw me but one of them had glowing eyes and the other was asleep" at this, I laughed "what's so funny!?" She asked me, still scared "follow me" I told her as we walked up to my room  "you two are bad at hiding!" I said loudly Hiro woke up, and Fore stopped, meditating? I think he was doing? "Bonbon meet, my new Human friends"

Fore-

I woke up from my meditation to see Lyra and Bonbon "Those are humans?!" Bonbon said slightly scared "Lyra why did you tell her?!" I said slightly annoyed "it's a secret were here and I want to keep it like that" "she found you while you two weren't paying attention" Hiro and I both facepalmed "well then that's Fore and she's Hiro" Lyra said "Hay" Hiro said groggily, while I waved and at that Bonbon passed out "well she's out" I said "she will have to get used to it" Lyra stated "Lyra?" Hiro said with a yawn "yah?" "You got the fabric?" " oh yah here " she levitated the fabric out of her bag and gave it to me. I starred at it absorbing its code for about 2 min. "Ok let's do this" I said as I formed an image in my mine of what I wanted, and my eyes started to glow as well as the fabric. It started to shift into something else after one min. Of forming it was complete, two black cloaks "Um fore why not just sew them?" Lyra asked "well my equine friend, one I can't sew, and two this has. Perception filter on it only you, Hiro and I can see through it." " why me ?" Lyra asked "so you can give us a tour" Hiro said hopping out of the bed and tossing the cloak on "you have to walk on your hand and knees when were in town" I said putting mine on "so shall we be off?" I asked "sure follow me!"

Although I knew of the main places in Ponyville I was still a good tour and some of the places I didn't know of we're very interesting, but our tour was interrupted by my stomach as it growled in hunger, Lyra and Hiro laughed and we went to get some food. We went to the bakery sugar cube corner because Hiro would like it, because of the lack of meat and they ate there with out being noticed by a hyper pinky party loving pony, thank god, and we lefts went back to Lyra's place so we could stand up and take off the cloaks "oh man my back!" Hiro said as we enter the house and closed the door behind us "Fore?" Lyra started "can't you just shift into ponies? With your power it sounded like you could." She said and I shock me head " with living things I need to follow the laws of equivalent exchange, I can do a lot of thing but I can't creat life out of thin air it's imposable to do, and with shifting us into ponies there's to much of a mass differential and I would have no where to store the mass without killing it" I said sitting down on the chair as I ran my hand through my blond hair, it was always fairly long going down to about my shoulder blades  "um this may sound weird but can I... Look at you hands?" "Umm... Sure?" I said as I graver her one of my pale hands "are most humans your color?" She asked looking into my grey eyes "only some and I'm only like this because of my powers and such" I told her "ok what color are most humans?" She asked "man you really like anthropology and either tan or brown most of them" "ok and what's anthropology?" "The study of humans" I said to her "neat" she said with a smile "but why are both you and Hiro pale?" Lyra asked "no idea" I replyed with a smile as she walked in her skin was just about as pale as mine, her Onyx hair, and sapphire blue eyes made her look like a desert flower, so very very pretty in short "Fore... When do you think they will find us?" "It will at least take the Feds a few months to find us then to build a portal will take them even longer so in short, we'll be here for a while" I said "you don't mind of we say here Lyra?" I asked looking at the mint green unicorn "of corse not! I would love you two stay with us....just try not to freak out Bonbon too much" "we'll try" I replied "where do we sleep?" I asked ".... Well, we do have a guest room but there's no furnishings-" "I'll do make em' Hiro" I said as I walked up the stairs to the guest room "ok let's see here we need two beds, two dressers a desk, two bed side tables, some lamps, my laptop, a generator in the wall, and that" I said to myself as I started to create stuff in the order that I listed them out of, well truly, thin air. The whole presses took ten min. and with the last little bit of my strength I created something very dear to me, it's a plush toy of a bear I think, it's the only thing I have of my real parents and then I plopped on to my bed and put the bear inside my bedside table "I'M DONE!!!" I yelled down stairs and Lyra, Bonbon, and Hiro walked up and saw "...wow..." Lyra and Bonbon said together Hiro just laughed, "did you get the generator?" She asked I nodded "cool" she said laying down on her bed as she reached into her bedside table and grabbed her phone and started texting, most likely her parents "um.. Hiro was it" Bonbon started " what are you doing?" She asked "I sending a message to my parents with my super phone telling them what's going on" she told them "Fore your only slightly older than her, why aren't you messaging your parents?" Lyra asked... I looked down Hirohito put her phone down and gave me a hug "it's ok Hirohito" I said with sadness in my voice "I'm an orphan I don't have parents" I told her "oh my I'm so sorry!" She said "it's ok..." I said my voice trailing off. I was tired so I went to sleep right then and there and passed out right after I closed my eyes.

Hirohito-

I felt sorry for Fore I mean he had me and I loved him but that's all just me no one else and he's always running, but he always come to me... "Come on... He just made a room he's tired" I said and Lyra and Bonbon left, but before I did I went to his bed side table, grabbed his bear and placed it in his arms, he doesn't know that I know about it but I do. I then got up turned out the lights "Goodnight, Jacob" I said as I closed the door.
