Predator: Equestria

“TWILIGHT” Applejack yelled as she triggered her M60, trying furiously to shoot the creature stuck in the net. Rainbow Dash stood up and began the spin cycle on her Gatling gun, the creature in the net shot out magical green blasts, striking a rope holding up a log swinging trap.

The log swung down and the group all ducked, except for Rainbow Dash who was too slow due to the Gatling gun and the log cracked her right in the chest, flinging her back. “SHIT” Applejack cursed as she rolled, still firing her M60. The creature in the net used her jagged horn to cut herself free and flew towards a tree branch and landed peacefully.

The creature looked to Applejack and its green cat like eyes flashed and it darted off. “Twi… RD’s ribs are broken” Fluttershy informed her. “I can make… I can make” Rainbow Dash groaned in pain and Fluttershy put her foreleg around her friend and began to help her walk. Twilight got on the other side of Rainbow Dash and did the same.

“We’re leaving” Twilight called out but Applejack let out a roar of anguish and ran off into the forest after the creature. “AJ… AJ!” Twilight called but it was no use, her friend was already set on chasing the creature down. Zecora ran up to Twilight, “Zecora what’s the fastest way out of here?” Twilight asked and Zecora gave her a frightened look.

“Zecora how do we get out?” Twilight asked and Zecora grabbed Twilight’s Desert Eagle from her shoulder holster, “There’s only one way to escape” Zecora quoted and shot herself in the head. “SHIT!” Twilight swore and levitated her handgun back into its holster. “Twi I’m going after her” Trixie said looking to where Applejack had run off.

Twilight gave her a look, “It’s not your style Trix” she said sarcastically and Trixie rolled her eyes “yeah well I’ve been picking up some bad habits from you and your mares” Trixie said and as she was about to chase after Applejack, Twilight tossed her Rainbow Dash’s MP5. “Two’s always better than one” Twilight quoted and Trixie pointed to her “Just make sure the helicopter doesn’t leave without me” she ordered then chased after Applejack.

Applejack was tromping through the forest loudly, “Ah’m gonna get me some, ohh yeah ah’m gonna get me some, gonna have me some fun…” she trailed off and the forest became quiet.

Trixie ran towards where Applejack had been running and suddenly a hoof grabbed her by the mouth and pulled her under a log. “Shh” Applejack hushed Trixie and pointed to the distant tall trees. “Ah see you” Applejack said in a voice that was borderline insane. “Ah’m gonna crawl up underneath her, yah go around” Applejack whispered, “I got a bone to pick with that thing” Trixie muttered. Applejack chuckled “we all have bones tah pick with this thing”.

Further through the forest Rainbow Dash was grunting in pain as Fluttershy and Twilight pulled her along. Rainbow Dash dropped her M1911a1, Fluttershy stopped to pick up her friends pistol but Twilight stopped her. “Leave it, it’s hunting us because we have guns, it never killed Zecora because she wasn’t armed… no sport” Twilight said. “Wait… if it’s hunting us because we’re armed then why are we still carrying these?” Fluttershy asked and Twilight looked at her M16 with the grenade launcher attachment. “Uhm because…” Twilight trailed off and they continued to move on, still carrying their weapons.

Applejack crawled up underneath the tree that the creature was in, she crawled to her feet quietly and lined up her rear with the tree. She cocked her hindlegs back and gave the tree a mighty buck, and as she did the creature fell from the tree. However the force off her kick set off a swing trap set by the creature and a small thicket of spears swung and stabbed into Applejack, she gagged as the spears stabbed through her.

Trixie continued on but she stopped as she saw Applejack get impaled by the trap. “Shit” Trixie muttered but suddenly she saw the creature fall from the the tree, “ARRRRR” Trixie roared as she brought her MP5 up and began to fire it with one hoof but a blast of energy from the creature’s horn blew off her foreleg at the elbow and her arm fell to the ground, nerves still twitching and triggering the MP5 after her foreleg had already fallen.

The creature revealed itself to Trixie and its horn glowed a dark goo green and Trixie’s own horn began to glow. They fired a blast of energy at each other and the blasts collided mid-flight but the creature’s energy was stronger and it continued on and cut off Trixie’s horn. Trixie screamed in horrid pain and as the creature closed in for the kill Trixie attempted one last fate to kill the creature, bringing her remaining foreleg up and triggering her other MP5 that had been given to her by Twilight.

The creature stabbed it’s horn through Trixie’s chest as Trixie fired off a final blast with the MP5, as the jagged horn stabbed through Trixie the creature lifted its head, lifting Trixie off the ground. Trixie screamed out in agonizing pain.

Twilight and Fluttershy stopped on a log crossing, after giving a final nod for Trixie, Twilight continued on but Fluttershy stayed on the log. Twilight noticed this and stopped. “Fluttershy come on” Twilight called back but Fluttershy didn’t respond, simply tossing her M16 over the side of the log and into the water hundreds of feet below.

Fluttershy pulled off her combat vest and tossed it into the water depths below along with her pistol. She pulled a massive machete out from a hip sheath. Twilight looked to her friend and a lone tear trickled down her cheek as she turned and continued on with Rainbow Dash moaning in pain.

Fluttershy brought the machete up and breathed slowly, letting her fear engulf her. The black creature approached slowly on the other side of the log and Fluttershy gulped as she remembered the face.

Twilight continued to carry the injured Rainbow Dash through the dense forest, towards the helicopter landing zone, hoping that they’d be waiting for them. A scream from Fluttershy could be heard and Twilight stopped and looked back to the scream’s echo. They began to continue on.

Rainbow Dash continued to moan in pain from her broken ribs and Twilight grunted as her hindlegs began to become overly sore. “Come on RD… we can make it” Twilight said. Suddenly a green blast hit Twilight in the shoulder and knocked her back. Her ballistic vest had caught the impact but she was now venerable and Dash had fallen to the ground. Twilight rolled to the side as multiple other blasts erupted beside her body and swung her M16 towards the assailant who was hiding in the trees.

Looking to RD she bellowed out “RUN… GET TO THE CHOPPA!”. Rainbow Dash grunted in pain and got to her hooves, the creature in the tree turned its attention to Rainbow Dash but Twilight began to fire a long burst at the creature and it turned back to Twilight. Leaping down from the tree it charged at Twilight and she began to back pedal.

As the creature closed in for the kill, Twilight tripped on a log and slipped. Falling to her flank she began to slide down a steep incline. Twilight accidently dropped her M16 as she slid down the embankment. As she neared the edge of the embankment she realized that it led to the edge of a cliff and dropped off to the water, hundreds of feet below.

“OHH SHIT” Twilight swore and her body slid off the edge of the cliff and she began to free fall through the air, she tried to levitate herself but was too exhausted from carrying Rainbow Dash to perform a levitation spell. She pencil dived and splashed through the water.

Twilight swam exhaustedly over to the shore and laid down in the mud. Hatred ran through her body, whatever it was that had killed her friend was going to die. But at the moment she only needed to lie down for a while and get some rest. However her rest was interrupted when the creature splashed through the surface of the water not too far from her current location.

Twilight rolled over, revealing her body to be covered in mud. She crawled backwards through the mud, completely covering her body in mud. She crawled up under deadfall and grabbed her Desert Eagle from its shoulder holster, her anger surfaced again. The creature stepped up from the water and revealed itself to be non-other than Queen Chrysalis.

Chrysalis looked around for Twilight as she tried to spot her but couldn’t. Suddenly she caught a glimpse of something and her horn flared up and blasted a log, only revealing it to be a mouse. Chrysalis kicked the log and continued searching but soon gave up and flew away.

Twilight looked to herself, “It can only see body heat” she muttered to herself, which makes no sense because her eyes weren’t covered in mud but back to the story. Twilight looked to the forest where Chrysalis had flown off to and gritted her teeth, she would kill her for murdering her friends.
