Predator: Equestria

Twilight smeared herself in mud, covering head to hoof of her body to make sure that Chrysalis couldn’t see her when they fought. Her friends had all but been killed, well she didn’t know what had happened to RD but knowing that her ribs were broken gave her a grim chance of making it out alive but then again she still had her massive Gatling gun strapped to her body.

Twilight checked the load on her Desert Eagle, she had 7 loaded rounds in the pistol and 2 spare magazines. She cocked the handgun’s slide back and holstered the pistol. She had once remembered Zecora talking about ancient times and bows and arrows along with spears. Twilight looked over to some oak trees and used her magic to break off a large branch on a tree. Using her combat knife she carved the beginning of a bow, after shaving off the bark she put the branch over her shoulders and bent the branch into a curve.

Taking some trip wire cord she constructed the bow string, though it wasn’t as lenient as real bow string it would have to do. She constructed many arrows using tree branches, she pulled out the last 2 grenade launcher rounds she had and popped the explosive tip off the shell. Pouring the powder into a large leaf and tipping the leaf with the explosive tip she created 2 explosive tipped arrows. She created a spear for herself by tying her combat knife to her stick.

She was ready.

Night had fallen and Twilight walked up to another log crossing, but this one passed over a forested area below the cliffs. Twilight let out a fearsome war cry that sounded more like a stallion’s war cry then a mare’s. Chrysalis heard the war cry and began to fly her way. Twilight snarled and levitated herself up into a tree.

Chrysalis fluttered down onto the log crossing and examined the area, looking for her prey. Twilight slowly unslung her bow from her back and loaded a grenade tipped round into the bow sting. Slowly pulling the arrow back she aimed it at Chrysalis who was still scanning the area for Twilight. Twilight released her grip on the end of the arrow and it propelled through the air.

As the tip collided with the log in front of Chrysalis, the explosive tip erupted and the powder inside the leaf erupted as well. Exploding violently and injuring Chrysalis severely, Chrysalis turned to the forest and scanned for the origin of the shot. Twilight grabbed a vine and swung through the forest and luckily Chrysalis didn’t see the movement.

Twilight hastily brought out another explosive arrow round and propelled it downrange. The grenade arrow exploded in front of Chrysalis and once again she was wounded severely by the blast, but this time however she saw where the arrow had come from and shot a beam of energy at Twilight.

The energy blast struck the tree branch Twilight was standing on and she fell to the ground below with a THUD. Chrysalis wasted no time in pursuing the fallen Twilight. Twilight knew that she only had a limited amount of time before Chrysalis found her, leaping up she unslung her knife spear and hurried away from the tree and deeper into the forest, Chrysalis spotted some branches moving from Twilight rushing through the forest and followed her trail.

Twilight rushed out onto a log crossing but suddenly on the other end Chrysalis landed, but it was as if she hadn’t spotted Twilight just yet.

Chrysalis turned to the log crossing, she had been sure that she saw something run this way but she couldn’t be sure. She walked across the log, her green blood dripping down onto the log, she would have to heal herself soon but to do that she’d have to go back to her nest and she wasn’t going to lose Twilight again.

Below the log Twilight grasped the bottom of the log with intense force as Chrysalis paced across the top. Twilight waited for Chrysalis to pass then flipped herself up onto the log and threw her spear into Chrysalis’ back. Chrysalis screeched in pain and slouched over but then spun around and blasted the log with an energy blast. The blast cut the log in half and Twilight fell to the underbrush 20 feet below with a loud crash.

Twilight gagged in pain as she got to her hooves, drawing out her Desert Eagle as she staggered through the forest in pain. Her hatred for Chrysalis began to wear off as her fear began to entice her. She slipped and fell into a puddle, groaning in pain she got up, part of her mud cover had been washed off.

She got up and continued on but eventually collapsed from the exhaustion, she managed to crawl up to some underbrush and leaned her head back. Chrysalis soon appeared and began to search for Twilight, Twilight’s rage for the evil queen returned as she tried to level her pistol but couldn’t muster enough strength to do so. “Where are you my little pretty?” Chrysalis screeched but Twilight was easily visible now because her mud had been partially washed off.

Twilight’s hatred continued to burn as she tried painfully to lift the handgun but again couldn’t. Chrysalis soon moved on in her search for Twilight but soon was out of Twilight’s sight. Twilight cast a pain numbing spell on herself so that she could push her body past its physical limits. She got up and looked to herself, he had been in plain view without her mud cover yet Chrysalis still couldn’t see her.

Twilight moaned in bit of pain as she got to her hooves, though the pain killer effect numbed most of the pain, she could still feel a bit of pain. She began to follow the green blood trail left from Chrysalis.

She soon found herself at the base of a cave, not thinking twice she entered.

Inside the cave was a vast expanse of green cocoons much like she had found her brother in, but these ones were
copulating and the insides glowed green. Insect like creatures with both horns and wings could be seen. They were horrid little creatures that made Twilight want to puke.

Twilight finally realized it, Chrysalis captured ponies or animals and placed them in these cocoons to become… these things. Twilight didn’t have enough ammo for all of the things but like hell she would simply just walk away and let these things continue to grow.

“The hive… isn’t it beautiful” said a voice from behind Twilight. Twilight spun around and brought her Desert Eagle up but was way too late, Chrysalis blasted her in the chest with a magical energy blast. Though her ballistic vest stopped the blast but Twilight was still propelled across the cave and crashed into a wall.

Staggering to her feet she opened up the smoking ballistic vest and pulled out the indented plate of Kevlar. Chrysalis flew over but Twilight rolled out of the way as Chrysalis tried to impale her with her jagged horn. Twilight attempted to bring her Desert Eagle up but Chrysalis was much faster and within a second had tackled her to the ground.

“So full of hate… it’s why I couldn’t spot you earlier, when an animal gives off love emotion I can sense it, we changelings feed off of love you see. So when you stopped loving and started to become filled with rage I couldn’t spot you… but now you are mine and shall make a fine addition to my hive” Chrysalis laughed.
