For years upon years the world where upon Equestria lies has remained safe, carefully hidden away in a pocket-dimension where an alternate set of physics is law. However, recently, out of pure chance, its discovery has been made… by the worst possible being that could ever discover it.

Now, calculating, spiteful eyes gaze upon this world, all with one goal in mind: assimilation. And in order to carry out this task easily, a young member of a new class of sentient zerglings is sent on an assassination mission. The target? Queen Chrysalis.

However, this may prove to be difficult for the young, brash, and questioning creature. For though it appears his target may be just as bad as his master at first: in the end, could she truly be just as much of a slave as he is? And if he were to spare her… would it be possible for both to gain what their hearts' desire?
