How have you been? Your father and I have never been as proud of you as we are right now. It is good to see you pursuing your dreams and we both hope it goes over well for you in Ponyville, here are some bits to help you get started, make sure you do your job well and be sure to make some friends, just try not to focus on your ‘little’ problem.

“I love you too,” I whispered to myself as folded the paper and putting it along with the bits into my saddlebag. I had gotten off the train in the next town over and was supposed to get a transfer onto the train that heads towards ponyvile, but it seemed like fate had other plans as the train was taken in for repairs.

As I walked towards Ponyville I saw many different things, a familiar looking minotaur and two goats giving a lecture to some ponies on kindness and saying no to pushy pony’s, a chicken with an apple in its beak standing on a dictionary, what happens when a manticore comes in contact with poison joke, and an earth pony wearing a suit of armor sleeping on the side of the road.

I continued down the road as Ponyville came into view, its building looking rustic and country like that gave off a homely feel, as I continued down the path i could help but wonder what was in store for me, what problems I may face and how many ponies can I make smile again.

I walked down the path towards my new home, the sun felt good as it showered its life giving rays upon me. Under most circumstances one would be thanking Celestia for the wonderful sunny day, but unfortunately for me my black mane was absorbing the heat.

“Celestia I wish my mane was a different colour,” I thought to myself.

The sweat on my grey coat made it turn a silvery colour that shined in the sunlight. I continued walking down the path. If I were a Pegasus I could have flown here and if I was stronger in magic I could have attempted a long range teleport. After walking for a bit longer I looked to the right and noticed the apple orchard. I stopped, took a breath, and smelled the sweet smell of apples.

“O sweet Celestia I’m hungry,” I said out loud.

“If yer that hungry I could give you an apple,” said a mysterious voice off to my side.

“Gahh!” I shouted. Looking over I saw an orange mare, she had a blond mane and tail both done up in ponytails using a red piece of fabric tied up into a bow.

“Pony with ponytails” I mused. She was also wore a worn-out seston on her head, her green eyes, which were a little lighter than my own, looking at me

“Pretty cute too.” I thought my eyes naturally making there way down towards her flanks

“Ah asked if you were hungry,” she asked again a little more sternly this time.

“No I am quite fine,” I replied bring my eyes up to hers but as I finished saying that my stomach made a sound that was like a manticore and a hydra where having a shouting contest inside it.

“Sure you are sugarcube,” she said hoofing me an apple.

“Thank you,” I said with the feeling of a blush appearing on my face. As I took the apple from her I noticed a kind smile on her face that in turn caused me to smile.

“Damn smilesspread like the plague,” I mused before taking a bite into the apple. And I must say it was one of the best apples I have ever had, the flavor had practically caused my taste buds to explode. It was nothing like the apples that we got in Neighagra Falls.

“HEY AJ!” shouted a raspy voice. I looked up to see a rainbow blur coming straight for us. In a panic I tried to back up but landed on my flank as the rainbow blur landed in front of me, kicking up a bit of dust which caused me to cough. As the dust settled, I looked up to a mare with a cyan coat, a messed up tomcolt styled rainbow mane, and magenta eyes. Her cutie mark was a cloud that had a lightning bolt that was red, yellow and blue coming out of it.

“Pretty cute in her own way,” I thought to myself as I looked her over spending a little too much time staring at her flank. “Luna I hope she doesn’t notice,” I thought to myself.

“Hey there little colt, checking me out?” teased the cyan mare swaying her hips left to right.

Looking up to her I stared to say, “W-What no no no I was uhhh.” “Wait,” I thought to myself“COLT!”

“Now RD why did ya hafta do that for?” said the orange mare I had now identified as AJ.

“He probably doesn’t even understand such adult things. Right little guy?” said RD looking at me.

I looked at her, I could feel my eye twitching. “What did you just call me?” I asked looking at the cyan mare.

“Little guy wh-“ was all she could say before I interrupted her before I started yelling at the top of my lungs,

“FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!” I yelled at the top of my lungs before taking short shallow breaths before turning to back to look at the two mares who now stared at me, the orange mare had a look of disappointment where the blue mare looked as if she was trying to keep herself from laughing out loud

“Now watch what ya say there sugarcube,” the orange mare ’AJ’ said in a stern voice “ah young colt such as yourself shouldn’t be using such language.”  I felt my eye twitch involuntarily when she said ‘colt’ but quickly calmed myself doing the same things I do to help we with my ‘job’, closing my eyes taking a deep breath I could feel my face muscles relax giving myself an expressionless face

“Now listen here miss... AJ was it? I can assure you that I am no meer colt, and I do believe we got off on the wrong hoof so allow me to introduce myself my name is To........” I was cut off by a voice I knew very well a voice that sent chills down my spine

“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH STONY!” I turned my head towards the source of the noise, It was a brown earth pony with a red mane that was cut short and brushed to the side and a short red tail that had pink tips, most would say that she was drop dead gorgeous but I knew what she was really like

“Oh fuck me,” I said before taking off full sprint down the street towards the town leaving to very confused mares to think about what had just happened

“O fuck O fuck O fuck what the hay is she doing here?” I thought to myself as I ran down the path just entering Ponyville. The houses looked like they were from a different time period compared to some of the other places I have been. I could hear her hooves behind me and would dare not to turn and look at her.

But I did anyways, noticing she was gaining on me and if i didn’t do something she would catch me.

“Stony, wait for me,” the mare behind me called out in a seductive tone.

“She’s going to rape me!” I thought to myself as I ran down the path going deeper into the town center, “but would that really be a bad thing?” I almost tripped at that last part, wondering where it came from.

As I regained my footing I noticed that we were coming up to the market square which was crowded with ponies going about their daily business.

“I’ll lose her in the crowds,” I thought to myself as I galloping as fast as I could towards the center of the market, weaving through and around the legs of the ponies in the crowd with ease, pardoning myself whenever I bumped into somepony.

I came to an alleyway, noticing some creates staked off to the side, I quickly hid behind them. Looking out from my hiding spot, I looked around the crowd for any signs of her. After my third sweep of the crowd I noticed her looking for me, her head angled towards the ground looking left and right. She suddenly turned her head towards me I ducked as quickly as I could manage.

“Did she see me?” I thought to myself. I froze in fear when I heard the sound of hoofsteps echoing through the alleyway her shadow appearing on the ground unmoving, I stared at it.

“Stoooony,” her soft voice called out. To most it would sound as if she was calling out for her lover, but to me it was more horrifying than a thousand nightmare moon’s.

I sat there behind those crates for what seemed to be hours, hoping that she would leave.

“I guess he’s not here,” she said as she turned away. I let the breath I had been holding out. “I guess I will just have to wait for him in his house.” she said giggling as she walked away.
