It was a beautiful day in Ponyville for a pony named Flutter Sparkle. Celestia’s sun shone brightly in the sky, and not a cloud could be seen for miles.
The happy purple pony strolled down the street toward the town market. She had just moved to Ponyville a few days ago from, and was looking forward to seeing what this new town had in store for her.
She was a pretty normal pony. She had a purple body and a dark blue and light pink stripped mane, her cutie mark, a aqua blue star with a butterfly on it, symbolizing her love for nature and magic. The only things that were different with Flutter Sparkle were that her one eye was a different color than the other. Her left eye was purple while her right eye was more of a shade of aqua similar to the color of the aqua star part of her cutie mark. The other difference was something entirely different.
If anypony would look at her carefully, they would she had a slight waddle when she walked, and that her rump seemed almost unproportional to the rest of her body.
Now most ponies would think this was just a flam she had. That this was something that was completely normal pony to have like flat hooves or a hairless tail. And for the most part they were right, except her rump wasn’t unproportional to her body.
What was the real problem was something inside her. Something no doctor could ever explain and no surgery could ever fix. It was that she was unable to control her bladder or bowls.
When she was younger and her parents had begun to try to potty train her, much like the other fillies and colts in her school, but no matter how hard she tried, she could never make it to the toilet. At first her parents had assumed she was just a little slower at this than the other kids and that she’d get a handle on it soon. But as the years began to slowly slip by and all the kids in her class now had no need for such things as diapers or trainers, she still found herself in her padding.
It was at that point that her parents had taken her to the doctor to see why she couldn’t control herself. Every doctor they went to said the same thing. “She seems completely fine. We just don’t know what it is.” This continued for about six months before her parents finally sat her down and talked to her. They told her the most horrible news she had ever received in her life. She would never be able to be potty trained. That she was doomed to wear her diapers for as long as she would live. She hadn’t slept that night, or even eaten. She just laid in her bed and sobbed, wondering why this terrible thing had happened to her.
She went through school and got older, all the while still wearing her padding, eventually learning to diaper herself when the time came. But as terrible as the fact of having to wear her protection was, it was nothing compared to her terrible rude classmates. She had had no friends throughout that time in her life, and she couldn’t remember a day that had gone by when she didn’t hear those harsh nicknames and get teased. They’d call her Sprinkler Sparkle or Flutter foal, but the teasing was the worst. “Aw, the little foal can’t hold it!” “Does baby want her bottle?” “Go back to magic kindergarten baby!” But the worst part was when she once had her skirt pulled down and had her soiled diaper put on display for the whole school to see, brown and yellow stains on her padding. She hated it. All of it.
When she finally graduated, she couldn’t leave Manehattan fast enough. She had her of Ponyville as an accepting town where everypony cared about everyone. After having the life she had had, this sounded just like the change she needed. Within a few weeks, she had moved to Ponyville.
Flutter Sparkle had now reached town square, all the merchants were selling different things and she could even see a stallion singing a beautiful song in the middle of the square. She hummed along to the tune looking around at the different things to buy around the square. She was just about to go and watch the music when she suddenly heard a loud rip.
She looked behind her to find her worst nightmare. Her skirt had caught on a nail and ripped, causing it to fall off her frame, exposing her diapered plot to everypony in the square.
“Hey everypony look! That mare is wearing a diaper!” Said a young pink filly with a tiara as her cutie mark.
Everypony began cracking up and laughing at her. It was like Manehattan all over again!
Not knowing what else to do and the thought of her one chance to start over now gone, she did the only thing she could think of doing. She started to cry. All the memories of her classmates had done to her filled her mind. Every insult and bad nickname she had ever gotten was now back her mind.
No matter what she did, she would never find a place she belonged! Everypony could never look past her diapers!
She continued crying and everypony kept laughing, that is, until they heard somepony else yell, “Leave her alone!”
Everypony stopped laughing and looked to see who had yelled. It was the pony that had been singing just a few moments ago. He had since stopped singing, and was now walking towards the diapered mare.
Everypony gazed in awe at the pegasus stallion. He had a gray coat and black and gray mane. His cutie mark was a silver fleur de lis, which sparkled in the sunlight.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Said one pony in the crowd.
“Yeah said another.” “She’s a diapered mare. It’s hilarious.”
Everypony began laughing again, Flutter Sparkle didn’t even care anymore. She just sat on the ground and sobbed.
“Quiet!” shouted the stallion. “Leave her alone and go about your business. Or you won’t want to see what I do to you if you don’t!”
Most of the ponies began to disperse, growing tired of laughing at the mare anyway, but two small grade school fillies remained, including the one that had originally announced her to the crowd.
“You don’t scare us.” Said the pink filly.
“Yeah.” Said her friend, who had a gray coat and blue glasses with a silver spoon as her cutie mark. “You can’t hurt us, we’re just fillies and you’re a stallion. You’d be in big trouble.”
The two fillies laughed, thinking that they had won.
“Who said I was going to hurt you.” Said the stallion, a smirk across his face.
The two fillies didn’t know what he meant by this, until a poof care from the two fillies behinds. When they looked back, what they saw shocked them.
Both fillies now had large, thick, disposable diapers around their rumps. They were pink, with frilly leg elastics and a design of ponies wetting and messing their diapers on them.
“Not quite so funny when it’s you is it?” Said the stallion. “This is only temporary, and you’ll get your toilet training back in about three days, but until then, you’re stuck in those diapers like the little foals you choose to act like. Oh, don’t bother trying to hold it, you’ll find that it will do you no good. And, if you try and tell anypony what happened, you’ll find you won’t be able to stop wetting and messing those things and nopony will be able to get them off. Now scram!”
“But-but how did you…” Said the pink filly.
“Scram!” Said the stallion once more, the two fillies now getting the message and running away, almost tripping with their new padding strapped to their waist.
The stallion now turned to Flutter Sparkle, looking at her with a look of compassion and care in his eyes.
“Hey there, it’s okay. Everypony’s gone now. Here let me help you.” Said the stallion, reaching out a hoof to help her up.
Flutter Sparkle accepted the hoof, rising to her hooves.
“Thank you.” She said around her sobs, still crying a bit from the teasing. “Why did you help me, and what’s your name?” Said Flutter Sparkle, wondering why any stallion would want to help her.
“I’m Bravery. And as for trying to help you, it looked like you could use some help. And here, I think this is yours.” Said the stallion, somehow levitating Her torn skirt over to her, which was now somehow fixed. With a poof, it was back on her, covering her diaper.”
“How did you do that?” She said gazing in awe at the stallion.
“Tell you what.” Said the stallion, let me take you home and I’ll tell you.
Flutter Sparkle agreed. She may’ve just met this stallion, but he had done a lot for her already, and besides, he did fix her skirt and stop everypony from laughing at her.
Together, they walked back to her house, a nice, two story home on the outside of Ponyville. Since she had just moved in, there were a few boxes still sitting around, but the couch was free, so they both took a seat.
“Thanks for your help.” Said Flutter Sparkle. “You really helped me out back there.”
“Don’t mention it.” Said Bravery. “I would’ve done it for anypony.”
“Speaking of which, how did you do those things, only unicorns can do magic, and you’re a pegasus.”
“Actually.” Said Bravery, moving his mane out of the way, exposing a white horn underneath. “I’m an alicorn.”
Flutter Sparkle looked at him, stunned. “Does that mean you’re royalty?” Said Flutter Sparkle, shocked that a member of the royal family may be sitting in her home.
“You’re correct.” Said Bravery. “Prince Bravery, nephew of Princess Celestia and Luna at you service.”
Flutter Sparkle immediately fell to the ground, bowing in respect. “Your highness, please forgive me I didn’t know you were royalty.” Said Flutter Sparkle, the sound of worry in her voice.
“Whoa, whoa, get off the floor. There’s no need for that.” Said Bravery, helping the mare to his feet. “Just because I’m royalty, doesn’t mean you have worship the ground I walk on.”
“Sorry.” Said Flutter Sparkle, embarrassed at her reaction.
“Don’t think about it. Hey, I just realized, I don’t even know your name.” Said Bravery.
“Oh. Silly me. I’m Flutter Sparkle.” She said.
“Flutter Sparkle. I should’ve guessed. A mare as beautiful as you would obvious have just as wonderful a name to match.” Said Bravery with a smile.
Flutter Sparkle blushed, she couldn’t believe this stallion was treating her so well. She had never heard anypony talk to her like he was before.
“So.” Said Bravery. “If you don’t mind me asking, why are you wearing a diaper anyway?”
Flutter Sparkle sat down and told Bravery everything. Her parents telling her she’d have to wear padding her whole life, the mean kids in Manehattan, everything.
“Wow.” Said Bravery. “I’m so sorry. It must be rough.”
Flutter Sparkle nodded. “That’s why I came to Ponyville. To start over. Looks like I screwed that up.” She said, beginning to cry again, wetting her diaper at the memory of exposing her padding in the town square.
Bravery threw his forelegs around her, bringing her into a hug. “You’re wrong. Believe it or not, there’s a lot of ponies here that will accept you for this. And those ponies in the square, they just thought it was funny. Give it time. You’ll make a lot of friends before you know it. You already have one right here.”
Flutter Sparkle returned the hug, glad that she had met a pony who accepted her for who she was. Diaper and all. “Th-thank you.” She said, doing her best to try and stop crying.
“You’re welcome.” Said Bravery. “Now, do you need a change?”
Flutter Sparkle nodded, moving to get up and get herself a new diaper in her room, but Bravery stopped her.
“Just relax.” Said Bravery. Flutter Sparkle was puzzled, wondering what her new friend was doing, until she saw a new diaper, wipes, and cleaning powder appear besides him.
“Just close your eyes and relax. I promise I’ll be quick.” Said Bravery, removing her skirt and then removing the plastic tapes on her diaper. At first, Flutter Sparkle wanted to scream and try and pull her skirt back on, but something stopped her.
It was that look in Bravery’s eyes. It spoke to her. It said, “I just want to help you. Just trust me.”
She layed down and relaxed, as Bravery pulled her bottom up by her rear legs, lifting the wet diaper out from under her, folding it up and laying it next to him to be disposed of later.
He then got out some wipes and began cleaning her rump, cleaning every inch carefully and gently.
Flutter Sparkle sighed in bliss. She had forgotten what is what like to be changed by someone else. She felt like a little foal again, wearing her padding at not having to worry about the teasing and pranks. All she had to worry about was being happy.
While Flutter Sparkle reminisced, Bravery was lifting her rump back up and sliding the new diaper under her bottom, taping it snuggly around her waist and giving it a light pat to show her he was finished.
“All done beautiful.” Said Bravery, reaching out a hoof and helping the mare up.
“Where did you learn to do that?” asked Flutter Sparkle, confused as to how the royal singer would know how to do such a trivial thing as change a diaper.
Bravery chuckled. “My cousin Princess Cadance was a foalsitter in her teen years. She taught me a thing or two when we would see each other about taking care of foals and young fillies and colts. Then when I came here, a met a stallion named Pokey Pierce. He was a foalsitter as well, but not just for little colts and fillies, but for full grown stallions and mares.
He told me that some stallions and mares have this inner wanting. A wanting to be who they truly are inside. He showed me some of these ponies, and offered me a part time job helping take care of them. I didn’t know what to think at first, but I got his reasoning. I took the job and cared of them. Each one was a little different, each wanting only a certain amount of the experience. But all wore diapers, and whether or not they wanted to use them or not I had to learn to put one on them properly. I actually enjoy the job. Seeing each one of their smiling faces makes me feel really good inside.
“Wow.” Said Flutter Sparkle, amazed that what Bravery was telling her was actually true. “How many are there?”
“Hard to say.” Said Bravery. “But if you saw everypony that was walking around Ponyville that enjoys being babied, you wouldn’t be able to look in any direction without seeing at least one or two.”
Flutter Sparkle laid back on the couch, taking in everything that Bravery had said. When bravery had changed her diaper, she had felt truly happy for the first time in her life again. Could this be what she really wanted? To be treated like a foal again?
Bravery looked at Flutter Sparkle. The mare hadn’t said anything for about five minutes, and he was beginning to worry about whether or not he should’ve told her all this.
“Flutter Sparkle? Are you okay?’ Said Bravery.
Flutter Sparkle blinked a few times, returning to reality.
“Can I try it?” Said Flutter Sparkle, deciding that maybe further looking into her inner foal may be a good idea.
“Sure. I’ll tell Pokey that we have a new client coming in. Is tomorrow at noon good for you?” Said Bravery.
Flutter Sparkle nodded.
Bravery teleported a quill and parchment on the table in front of them, wrote down a few things, and magically teleported it away.
“You’re all set. First visit is free, and you can stop coming at anytime. Feel free to bring any toys or other items you may wish to have while you’re there.” He Said.
“Thank you.” Said Flutter Sparkle, reaching her forelegs out to do what Bravery assumed was hug him, but was shocked when the mare wrapped her hooves behind his head and brought him in for a kiss.
At first, Bravery just sat there wide eyed that his new friend was kissing him, but decided to humor her and opened his lips, allowing her tongue entre into his as he returned the kiss.
The two remained like this for a bit, each enjoying the treatment the other was giving until Flutter Sparkle broke the kiss, looking at Bravery with a pleased expression.
“What was that for?” asked Bravery, wondering what had gotten into the mare that had just a few minutes ago been a shy, gentle pony before him.
“That.” She said. “Was a thank you for all you’ve done for me.”
Bravery blushed, glad the mare was so pleased.
“Bravery, will, you stay over tonight?” asked Flutter Sparkle, the shyness in her voice now returning
“For you, anything.” Said Bravery. He wasn’t sure what Flutter’s intentions were, but the last thing he wanted was to hurt her, and besides, what else was he gonna do tonight anyway.
“Yay!” said Flutter Sparkle, hugging Bravery again.
“So, should I sleep on the couch or do you have a guest room?” Said bravery, wanting to know where he would be staying tonight.
Flutter Sparkle giggled. “I don’t have a guest bed, and that couch isn’t comfortable to sleep on all night. You can just stay in my bed.”
Bravery blushed deep red. Kissing on the couch was one thing, but this mare wanted to sleep with him?
“Come on. It’s getting late.” Said Flutter Sparkle, leading Bravery by the hoof to her bedroom.
Once there, Flutter sparkle began to undress, removing her shirt and skirt, leaving her in just a white poofy diaper.
“Come on. Tale off your cloths, its summer and it’s hot.” She said, climbing into bed.
Bravery looked at the closed door. This was going a bit too far for him. Although he found Flutter Sparkle cute, and would love to date her, but sleeping with her without even much of a date? This was nuts!
He sighed. There was no turning back now. He wasn’t going to hurt the mares feelings. He did what she asked, removing his cloths down to his briefs and was about to climb into bed when Flutter Sparkle stopped him.
“You don’t need those.” She said, pointing at his underwear. “Take them off.”
Bravery gulped. He didn’t want to, but he cared about this mare. And if this is what would make her happy, then so be it.
He bent down, removing his underwear and stood before Flutter Sparkle, completely nude.
Bravery then climbed into bed, wrapping the covers around him and closing his eyes, ready to get some sleep.
“Bravery.” Said Flutter Sparkle.
“What?” Said Bravery, wondering what was on the Flutter Sparkle’s mind now.
“Can, I, uh, cuddle with you?” She said, her voice once again returning to its quiet tone.
At that moment, everything became clear to Bravery.
Flutter Sparkle did like him like he liked her, but didn’t want to rush things. She wanted to be wrapped in the arms of a caring stallion that loved her, like the little foal she was inside.
“Of course my little filly.” Said Bravery, the both of them nudging close together, Bravery wrapping her in his forelegs.
Flutter Sparkle sighed. She felt it again. That feeling of being loved unconditionally. She knew Bravery was different. She knew she could trust him to never laugh at her or tease her. He understood her, and even shared her feelings toward him. She had no idea how her new life in Ponyville would play out, but she did know one thing. With Bravery by her side, there was nothing she couldn’t do.
